Overall we were disappointed as Nalan had a very high Yelp rating (probably because of its nicer interior--cute wall with a word cloud of food) but the food itself was underwhelming. I also really like samosa chat. The inside has aquate space for dine in. The counter is right as you enter the door, so take-out is easy. They have a buffet which seems to be popular. Staff have always been kind, friendly, and accommodating. Prices are relatively reasonable. My only complaint is take-out curry portions are kind of small. They are served in pint containers. For 12-16 bucks, it could be a little more generous. Nonetheless, I will continue to return for thier delicious food.

The staff have also added to my positive experiences. They are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The owner even took the time to say hello and personally thank me for visiting. They were DELICIOUS. This is the best naan I've ever had and it came in as a large flat bread cut into 4 quadrants -- with perfect texture and the onion flavor bursting forth. It tastes AMAZING when dipped into the malai kofta sauce -- which mind you was perfectly dreamy and creamy with a nice balance of tomato flavor. The homemade paneer dumplings were also so soft with a great texture, pairing perfectly with the sauce. Value: 5/5 - The total came out to be $42 or so for all this food and we were stuffed with plenty of leftovers. In summary, get the malai kofta and onion naan!! We opted for the Medium spice level for all the food. But it wasn't spicy at all. She give us the chili paste and the hot sauces on the side to cover it. In another 5-10 mins all the dishes were at our table. Really loved the appetizers. Flavor was really strong and loved it. Also enjoyed the Goat Curry and the Chow mein. Very flavorful. The Puri Sabji was a surprise - it was totally different from what we expected. Absolutely loved it! We were so happy that we stopped here instead of a pizza or fast food place.
