DO NOT HIRE THEY CUT CORNERS DANGEROUSLY I hired this company to install a ceiling fan (among other jobs like adding outlets to my garage, installed recessed lighting in my living room) in June 2024. Fast forward to yesterday, and this ceiling fan fails catastrophically, violently falling out of the ceiling and hanging on by its live wire. My 11 month old daughter had just been playing in this area before this happened. I contacted these guys with photos of what happened as a result of their work. They said they were on vacation for the next 10 days and would fix it when they got back. I had to hire another company (who went above and beyond to fix this dangerous situation for me ASAP!) and they showed me that Zair Electric had CHEAPED OUT and used a weak fan brace that was not rated for this type of installation and stress. When I told them about their mistake and asked what can they do to make this right, they got very defensive and said this is normal behavior for a ceiling fan to fall out of the ceiling after 2 years. The company who saves the day was Zoetic Electric. 10/10 I would recommend their professionalism over this clown show at Zair Electric. read more

Shady company. Wish I could give 0. DO NOT USE. My experience was similar to Rick H's down below. They sent a quote for troubleshooting a loose connection for $75. I even pointed out the problem was in the wire nut when he was here and all it needed was connecting back so they make proper contact. Instead he proceeded to open the breaker boxes, destroyed a working outlet by cutting it and opening switches. The recommendation was to cut open holes in the wall (since I have no attic) and redo the circuits in 2 rooms with new breakers for an inflated price of $1200 which does not include patching. Same reason as provided to Rick that he will be out of town "tomorrow" and to text him. I then asked other electrician quotes for replacing the circuits and the other companies were like "Are you sure? Can I please come and take a look? I won't charge you if I can't fix this. This seems too minor for redoing the entire circuits and there is not even load". Sure enough, another company was able to do exactly that with the wire nut same day, also fixing another outlet with the cost of just a house visit and even told me to be careful. **warning to all who's looking to schedule with these guys** They come and cut your wires, trick you to believe there are big problems to get money from you. Daniel came to look at an electrical outlet problem this morning and make me a $400 quote, telling me my switch was installed incorrectly before and the problem was with the neutral wire. I had the guys who installed my kitchen for me over for a second opinion, and we discovered Daniel cut my wires. I called Daniel asking what exactly did he do, he told me he was talking to a customer and would call me back in 15. Dangerous. When another electrician from another company went into my attic he reported to my family that the wiring for my ceiling fan was not up to code and a potential fire hazard. The wires were spliced and left without an outlet box on the insulation. I called Zair Electric and they came out after a couple days and did indeed confirm it was not correct so they replaced the wires and added two outlet boxes and apologized. Then they informed us that the two guys who installed the ceiling fan and wiring were fired shortly after doing our job for doing bad work. I was not informed of this and had the faulty wiring in my attic for over two months before another electrician caught it. This made me beyond mad and embarrassed for trusting a Yelp recommendation for electricians. Zair Electric did correct the situation, but it doesn't rectify the situation of putting my family in danger for over two months and not having the courtesy to check on the work of the people they fired.
