I wish zero stars was an option. Absolute worst experience ever. First I buy a ring and they tell me it will be a few weeks and they will call me when it is in. Few weeks go by. My wife calls and weird they have it in the store. And we had to call to ask if it was there. Then we were told by a young lady that since we live in Indy and bought this ring in Lafayette I could come pick it up as long as I had the receipt and replacement ring even tho Ashley's name was on the paper work. So I drive an hour and a half to Lafayette to pick it up. The "manager" says nope can't have it Ashley has to be here. I explained to her exactly what we were told to do. I get a shoulder shrug and she says sorry. That's it. Sorry. So my wife calls corporate. They say "we will write up the store and manager" for this. Ok cool. What does that do for me? So then we are told "call the store talk to the manager and tell them you want a $100 discount for your time and inconvenience since you now have to drive a 3 hour round trip to pick your ring up" since we were given false information. So she does exactly that. The same lady I encountered with answers the phone and ashley repeats what she was told to say and the "manager" says I'm not the manager you have to contact the GM I have zero control over that and can't do anything for you. So Ashley asks to be put in contact with the GM. the "manager" says no. SHE SAID NO. Excuse me. How do you just say no?? Then tells Ashley to call customer service. This has been an absolute joke. I want nothing to do with this store or these people. Can't believe what a waste of time this was. I absolutely will be getting my money back and taking my business elsewhere. And to think we were going to have a custom ring made by them. HA Find new management. Seriously. read more

If you ever buying anything from Zale's and need it service (especially adjustable flex watch bands) forget about ever getting it serviced in a reasonable time. I took mine out about 4 or 5 working days ago and they said they don't have anyone there that knows how to do it (supposed to be a free service by them) they tried to get me to go to a watch repair kiosk in the mall to get done (I pay for that) I said that was not what we agreed to when I purchased it here. So I go out 4-22-2019 about 8:00PM one employee tells another employee how to do take the links out - they initially tried to get me to go to the kiosk again so I could pay for it I declined again. They started on it at about 8:05 PM I went to another store and completed my business with them at 8:10PM came back and they had the band apart and links out but could not get it put back together again. I waited until 8:50PM then said will you have anyone here tomorrow that can get this done or should I just for get about Zale's doing what they said they would do- they said no we will have it done tomorrow for you. At 1:10PM I called the store and they advised it is not done yet because they have been very busy today (not with selling merchandise) but inventory. I advised them that if they really can't do it just tell me and the lady "no" we can get it done - they have been open for over 4 hours and this (supposedly) easy job cannot take precedent over inventory - glad I did not go there to spend $5,000 on jewelry I would have had to wait for the inventory to be completed (oh, no they would have stopped everything to make the new sale but getting it serviced later would be held up because of inventory. I left it that I need to hear from them by 4:00PM either way done or not done and my guess to the lady was that the band would not be repaired and I would have to go to the kiosk to get it taken care of. I also believe the young man working on it last night lost a pin that is needed to put it back together again - so I will probably have to pay for that too. To add to my previous review, I received a call from the Zales Customer Support team today after sending an email on Sunday and Tweeting Zales. After asking if I could provide a bit more information, the rep told me that she was not able to make any promises and didn't want to get my hopes up, but she would send up a request to see if I could buy the ring I wanted for the originally quoted price. I told her that wasn't necessary as I purchased a larger ring from another company and once I took the time to tell them about my experience with Zales, they allowed me to pay the same price I was originally quoted by Zales. All she said in response was, "So if you already have a ring would you even like me to escalate this any further?" I am pretty sure that I got every answer that I needed based on her response (there is no point in escalating because Zales doesn't care about their customers), but I told her that I would. I believe that every Zales store in America needs customer service training. As the customer service manager of the company I work for, that is clear and obvious, and she could use some customer service training herself. It was not until the end of the conversation that I even received an apology for my in-store experience. Yet again, I was more than let down by Zales corporation. read more
