    I found a ring I liked online and went into the store to purchase. When I picked up the ring there were several imperfections with the ring. I'll include pictures. A prong was sticking up and there was a hole on the side of the ring. I asked to return the ring while I was in the store picking up. The store manager tried but the system wasn't updating and I couldn't return the ring. She asked me to wait 24-48 hours for the system to update. I returned to the store after a few days and was told it still hasn't updated & I couldn't get my money back. They offered a gift card or check that would take 3 weeks to get. That's obviously not acceptable! I paid debit and wanted my money back sooner than 3 weeks. They told me to return in a few days and see if the system updated. Because it was an online exclusive item the order wasn't pulling up in their system. I called corporate after not being satisfied with the service I was receiving. Corporate told me the same thing!!!! I'm all for store policy, but when it's inconveniencing a customer and the fault is on the store/manufacturer of the defective ring, I think something should have been done to override the system & exception!! I will never do business at ZALES every again!! Jewelers costs a lot of money & customers should be reimbursed appropriately and on time when shopping for high priced items. I waited 6 days and was finally able to return. I had to wait an additional 3 days for my bank to get the money back(not their fault). But overall terrible experience and terrible store system.

    This low rating is for the product quality and speed of the jewelers they send their product to for repair. I went in looking for a duplicate of a couple rings I found in silver. I wanted them in gold, not silver. The quickly found something I thought was perfect. I purchased & we sent it off for sizing. I picked it up a a couple of weeks later & gave it as a gift the following day. The very next day my daughter showed me that the ring was turning her finger green & black. I immediately took it back to Zales & that was when I found out the ring they sold me was actually half sterling half rose gold. Because my daughter fell in love with it, I was willing to overlook the lies as long as they fixed the situation. Once again the took the ring and promised it would be rushed. They promised extra rhodium, extra cleaning & polishing. When I got it back a few days later, the pick up ticket said " Soldering". I brought it up to Zales staff immediately and was told that they didn't know why the ticket said that. My daughter put the ring on and a few hours later her finger was covered in black & green. Do you know how it feels to give an expensive jewelry gift to someone only to have them tell you TWICE that the ring is turning their fingers colors?! It's embarrassing. It's humiliating. It looks to her like I bought fake jewelry and tried to pass it off as real. Turns out it's Zales who is selling their customers crap. PURE CRAP. I got my money back & now we're looking for a REAL GOLD replacement. Believe me, you are gambling with your money here. GO TO JARED! it's across from the mall, their master jewelers are in house & you get your items lightning fast and they'll show you everything under the microscope so you know exactly what you are getting.

    I have been a ZALES customer for over a decade. Cynthia and her staff have always provided the best customer service whether I am coming in just to get my ring cleaned, purchasing a gift for someone, And most recently they helped me upgrade to a different ring. Each and every staff member is always so sweet, they greet you with a smile and they are always professional !

My wife was gifted older jewelry from her grandmother and wanted to have it appraised and possibly resized -- approximately 25 items. She booked the appointment online and was never informed of any appraisal or handling fees. When my wife, her cousin, and I arrived, we received no warm welcome whatsoever. We were about 15 minutes late due to being new to the area and accidentally going to the wrong location, and we apologized immediately. From that moment on, the older brunette woman who assisted us was rude and dismissive. There was no small talk, responses were short and snippy, and the overall customer service was very poor. When my wife asked for an estimate to sell some items and have a bracelet repaired and cleaned, the employee scoffed and said, "Just so you know, this is exactly why I asked how many items you had -- because we charge a fee." I explained that this fee should have been mentioned upfront or charged when the appointment was booked online. I also expressed that she had been rude since we walked in and made us feel completely unwelcome. Management may want to address customer service expectations with this employee. We had every intention of doing business here, but her attitude alone made us decide otherwise.

It was only five dollars and I can pick it up the next day. Then I had some rings that I was hoping to give my adult daughters that were my grandmother's and they were a little dingy and they were willing to Clean them and buff them and make them beautiful and even gave me a beautiful velvet jewelry boxes to present them as gifts to my kids. This is truly a community minded business and I will definitely bring some jewelry here to appraise and sell, and I will be back for watch batteries.

Unfortunately, after three visits to LA Masters of Fine Jewelers in Temecula, I'm left disheartened by a sharp contrast in experience and a lack of basic follow-through. My first visit was lovely. I stopped in out of curiosity, was greeted warmly, and enjoyed browsing their jewelry. No pressure, just genuine enthusiasm and hospitality. It left a positive impression and made me bookmark them for the future. Fast forward to my second visit, now newly engaged and eager to support a local jeweler with a custom wedding band for my fiancé. Again, I was welcomed kindly and talked through the customization process in detail. I was advised to return with my fiancé to confirm sizing, metal, and width. Everything felt thoughtful and promising. However, my third visit, which should've been the most exciting and collaborative, was a disappointment. While we were initially greeted pleasantly, the energy shifted abruptly when I mentioned having spoken with a different associate the day prior. The associate assisting us redirected us to the register and openly discussed passing the commission to the original associate, in front of us. The handoff was awkward and impersonal. Despite that, we provided all the necessary details for our custom ring: sizing, specs, and inspiration images. We were told we'd receive our CAD drawing within 4 days (by 7/23) to review before moving forward. It has now been 12 days, and we've heard nothing. No call. No email. No CAD drawing. No follow-up of any kind. The irony? That very same day, we visited another local jeweler who, unprompted, expressed surprise that LA Masters was still in business due to their history of poor follow-through. At the time, I dismissed that as unprofessional gossip, but sadly, I experienced exactly what she described. We were genuinely ready to move forward with a purchase. But the lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic courtesy speaks volumes. I won't chase a business to give them my money, especially for something as sentimental and significant as a wedding ring. I wanted to support you, LA Masters. But you made it clear I'm better off going elsewhere.

Because of the importance of the piece, we expected the work to be completed to a professional standard. When I picked up the ring, it was clear the soldering work was not done properly. The finish was rough and did not reflect quality craftsmanship. She returned to the store to address the issue directly. Explained her concerns and showed the problem areas. She was told the work looked "fine" and were offered a redo of the solder. At that point, she declined further work because we no longer had confidence that the issue would be corrected properly. She also sought a second opinion from another jeweler who advised against having it repaired there again. They also said we should get our money back since we weren't happy with the service. Alexander's only offered to redo even though I'd cost the same amount if not more to redo it. No refund no store credit. Would recommend taking your jewelry elsewhere.
