I walked in and she greeted me right away and we spent a few minutes going over the forms I filled out online ahead of my appointment. It's easy to see that Liz is very knowledgeable about acupuncture and the human body. She explained what she would do during my appointment and answered all of my questions. Liz - and the relaxing sounds and decor of her office - put me at ease right away. First - acupuncture! She inserted a few needles in my hands, face, and legs, and left me to relax. I thought I would be too alert to fall asleep, but I got used to the feeling of the needles after a moment, and the next thing I knew, Liz was back to remove them. Next - Gua Sha. Liz knew about my tense neck and shoulders and suggested this treatment. I Googled it in advance, so I knew I'd have a lot of red/purple coloring in my neck and back. I am very red, but it's worth it! My neck and shoulders are moving much more freely. I already made my next acupuncture appointment. After canceling my membership, I continued to see unauthorized charges on my bank account--charges that I did not approve and were clearly against their own policy. To make matters worse, multiple appointments were canceled last minute without proper communication, leaving me without services I had already paid for. I tried contacting management several times to resolve the issues, but received little to no response. The lack of accountability and customer service is unacceptable. Massage Envy's failure to respect cancellation requests and respond to concerns borders on unethical. I expected professionalism, but instead encountered mismanagement and a total lack of transparency. I strongly urge others to read the fine print and be cautious with this company.

I was referred to see Joyce after receiving injuries from a motor vehicle accident. As I was very…read morenervous about my first session (since I NEVER had a massage before), she talked to me about my issues and what her plan of treatment was going to be. She seemed very knowledgeable and was extremely pleasant. She made my first session a positive one as I was able to relax and indulge in the moment, although in pain. As one session will not heal you or anyone, who has an injury as I did. But I was looking for relaxation upon my first session and she exceeded that goal. Needless to say I will never fear massage therapy again. As treatments continued I became more relaxed and comfortable with each session. The treatments have been an extremely positive outcome for my healing process. She has giving me many useful suggestions on ways to relieve pain and discomfort on my injured areas. With each session, it seems like the first (except I am not nervous anymore). She assesses how I am feeling physically and what her plan of treatment should be for that session. As I suffer from depression, she previously posted an article on her Facebook page regarding how massage therapy helps with depression. That article is so on point, the therapy that I have received not only has/is helping me physically but also emotionally/mentally.
