I did not plan adequately and realized I needed a jacket after getting to Chicago. Thankfully found a Zara right next to my hotel. I am a big fan of Zara and like their styles a lot. This a big location and the staff were friendly.

This zara is pretty big compared to the ones in cali. They have a huge sale around Jan but a lot of the good items were sold out around the time I went ( 1/13). Luckily I found some items in my size. Tried to make nice conversation with the cashier but he honestly seemed tired, which makes sense. The dressing rooms are chill, overall appearance of store is orderly. The first floor is women's and the second floor is kids/ mens ( still has some steals for petite girls). Perfumes are near the register.

The coffee that a customer spilled that will more than likely go untouched by a store employee. Disgusting.

The only reason I'm giving Zara on State Street 1 star is bc I actually like the clothes. However, customer service is absolutely horrible here time and time again. There is usually no more than 2 people at the registers with lines backed up all the way to the entrance. I finally said something to the manager yesterday and he couldn't care less. His tone was annoyed and all he kept saying was "we're doing the best we can." The people who ARE at the register move at a snails pace too. P.S. The woman in line just accidentally dropped her coffee. Wonder how long it'll take before an employee cleans up this mess!

The manager there is so rude I went to the store and I bought 9 shirts and because the don't have enough employees the fitting rooms are closed. So after 2 days I went to return 2 shirts and I have the 9 shirts with me and the Receipt I find out that they have the annual sale and all the shirts 49$ to 25$, I asked the register if I can return them and buy them for the new price she said (ok if you find the same shirts with the red tag )Which is the $25 I went to give her the shirts that the same ones that I bought with the sale tag and when I was standing for the Register to give her the items The manager came to me and in a rude way she said (we do not do adjust price ) I didn't even talk to her , she heard the conversation between me and the Register

It is a new store opened recently, I guess. Nice, 2 floors, a lot of clothes. It's ok

Truly stupid women. Beyond ignorant. Ugly and cruel. Also, slightly overweight.

THIS PLACE IS CLOSED. but meh, no wonder - their staff was usually unfriendly, as if they had some high paying important job to do.

I can't believe it's taken me so long to stop into this free standing A&O. The eclectic yet chic…read moredisplays-- to mention a sale rack featuring items 65%-75% off--are just what the doctor ordered to shake off the January doldrums. I usually hit up Bloomingdale's across the street for my fix; this location, with its spacious interiors and vast accessory and shoe sections to complement the delectable wearables, made me realize just what I was missing. As a walk down retail memory lane, Cop Copine (now in the 900 North Shops) used to be in this location. There was only one other customer in the store and the retail experience was what I appreciate the most- attentive without being overbearing. I ended up with a dress for an event in April (originally $600, marked down to $350) and a skirt and top. Unfortunately for me - maybe not so much for my pocketbook - the full skirt that I was eyeing (on full price) was not available in my size. The personalized service and nifty garment bag that folded up and over into shopping-bag proportions all contributed to my good shopping vibes. Word to the wise: the sale will be ending in a matter of days, at which time all the goods will be packed up and shipped off to the warehouse to make way for Spring 2015 goods. If you want to check out the sale goods while they still last, I suggest coming here without delay.

Really love the comfortable feeling clothes here and all the varieties if dresses, cute tops, boxer…read morestyle shorts intimates and sweaters. I've shopped here multiple times with my Pyrenees and I love the fact that everything here is either 100% cotton or very close to it. All the intimates I've purchased fit extremely well or I wouldn't keep coming back. I prefer leaving five stars as a local guide but instead I'm leaving three because of the fact that you can't try on anything here before you buy it so if you aren't a Chicago local you're out of luck. So far i haven't had to return anything though because all of these dresses have adjustable straps and if you buy drawstring shorts you can tighten or loosen the material to fit your body type. I am only five foot one so I can definitely fit into these clothes. The only item that didn't fit me well are a pair of denim shorts I purchased but I may either resell them or lose a bit of weight lol. Here all the fitting rooms are permanently closed. But what really upset me yesterday was the fact that I wanted to try on a metallic gold sweater top but the security guard stopped me and said it's the store policy that no one can try anything on not even a sweater! I don't agree with that policy nor have I ever shopped at a boutique women's clothing store where you can't try on something as simple as a sweater! I also wish to add that when you check out not all the girls are friendly. You're told that all intimates are non refundable as a warning and they never ask you if you've had a pleasant shopping experience. They ring everything up kind of like it's just a job to them then ask you if you want a bag? May I suggest to upper management that you train your staff to be kinder and bag everything up. Better yet provide cute cloth bags as a kindness a cute complimentary cloth bag that we can reuse like the bags provided by Free People brand so that it's eco friendly! In summary some of the staff are polite enough to want to help but yesterday there weren't enough sales crew on the floor and some of the cashiers were looking kind of harried. Love the clothes strongly disagree with the no try on before you buy policy here!

When Brandy Melville first opened a location in Chicago, the shop was pretty small to the point you…read morecould barely even move around in it and they had to limit the amount of people inside. I'm glad they changed it to the current location that has two levels and is much more spacious, but it STILL feels too crowded in there each time I've gone (especially on the weekends). My biggest pet peeve here is that the line to go to the dressing room has people blocking entire walls of clothes, so other shoppers can't really look at those items. The employees (who could be mistaken for shoppers most of the time) are typically folding clothes constantly, which also makes it difficult if they are working on folding a section and I can't really browse that section if they are standing in the way. I try to understand because with the amount of traffic in and out of this store, they definitely try to keep it looking nice and neat. Also was sad they had no free stickers or pins by the register this time like they usually do. Womp womp. I've been here many times because I hate paying their expensive shipping prices. It's a great place to just get simple clothes for everyday wear. Their prices are more affordable when compared to other shops too. They always have new styles every time I come here. Can't wait for the Naperville location to open! Hopefully it won't be as crowded. It'll also be more close to me too. Yay :D
