I have to say this is the WORST Zara I have ever visited and definitely not planning to come back here EVER AGAIN! I came here to return a shirt I purchased online. The line was SUPER LONG and there was no one enforcing social distancing. Later I found out from other Yelp reviews that I could have went upstairs to do my online return instead of waiting in that LONG line on the first floor. There should be a sign by the front door to let customers know about the returns, but instead, there was nothing but a long line without any social distancing enforcement. Not only the line was super line, the employees at the cashier seem to be nonchalant about doing their job. One of the employees obviously look bored and slowly handling the items in front of him. The manager walked by the line a few times and instead of directing people to purchase/return at the other cashier line upstairs OR open up another cashier window, she also looked super chill about the 50 or so customers in that snake looking line in the store. The store was also super messy as well. Without the dressing room open, a lot of people are just "trying on" clothes by the mirrors and forming a pile of clothes on the racks near the mirrors. Every time I go to this store, I am never greeted and end up having some sort of inconvenience. This is my second time coming to the store because my first visit the cashier ripped the dress I purchase while removing the tag sensor. I didn't discover it until I got home because she put the dress in a bag. So I came back to the store today to exchange the dress for one that wasn't ripped. The cashier said they didn't have my size in stock so she directed me to ordering online which I did. But before I left the store, I decided to look around and ended up finding that they did have the dress in my size and they didn't even go to the floor to look for it, I bought the dress up to purchase and confronted the cashier (female with glasses) who caused me the inconvenience and she told me she refused to give her name and I asked for a manager. A female manager came up and was very confrontational from the start. She wouldn't apologize for the inconvenience or admit her staff was wrong. Avoid coming to this store if you can go somewhere else. The staff is very lazy and are snappy like they don't want to be bothered with working. I waited nearly 30 minutes to get in the dressing room because they had so many clothes that they had not taken back to the floor and we're just on their phones texting. She has left her phone in the car and waited in the line for a long time with 8 items in her arms. The customer service is very bad and rude. I was in front of her because the other cashier does not accept cash payments but she looked passed me and was calling the person behind me. I usually have a pretty decent experience at this location but when I showed up on Sunday to purchase a few things & return items I purchased online it was just a really crappy time. The downstair registers are for purchase & returns. The upstairs register is for online order pick up+returns+purchases. Without prior knowledge to this my boyfriend and I were in line downstairs for a return & a purchase. I thought I could conveniently do a return+purchase+order pickup downstairs but they sent me right upstairs. They really should have signs indicating that so customers don't waste their time standing in multiple lines for no reason. Then when I had an associate help me with a return she had to call her manager & the managers explanation to why they would not accept my return made NO sense. I told her online customer service told me a completely different story & she started back peddling and telling me something totally different. I literally have no time to deal with it & the return was not a big deal but just so inconvenient & their policy especially with COVID is inconsistent. But if you don't want to be annoyed or feel like you're being convicted of doing something wrong, do not enter this store. To be honest, I don't think Zara is known for their customer service. And at this particular store, they really make it known to you that they don't want to help you at all. I went on a week day right before 1pm, and the cashier was completely rude to me and the other customers in her line. I'm not surprised at this store's reviews. The workers here are so uneducated and the store is usually a mess. One girl with glasses and brown hair was working the register alongside another woman. The woman was ringing up several items for a customer while the glasses girl was ringing up one item and talking to the customer like if she was on a date. Leaning on the counter and everything. A long line of us were waiting. I got rung up by the woman who was polite and quick. Told the glasses girl to be more considerate next time and she tells me she's just doing her job and to leave the store. I had purchased a pants that I didn't try on after a few weeks went by I was going to wear them once I put them on I discovered a hole . I took them off with out removing the tags I returned to the store to exchange them and they refused to do so because the small tag on the inside (tag w/ care instructions) I explained that's exactly how I purchased. Them .. all the tags are on it ! Why would I remove the small one inside the pants .. I did not remove that tag I was trying to exchange The pants exactly how I purchased them.. they refused ! Bad quality, wore pants for 2 hours and they ripped. Took the next day with receipt and tags and was told I was 2 days over the 30 days. The employee was going to still help me, then the rude female manager came to interrogate me and tell me again about the 30 day period, but this unfortunately was a quality control issue. I told her that. Zara quality is questionable so this company needs to fix any issues for a $60 pair of pants. Manager should also be educated on quality control as well as the company. read more

I feel like, is the company aware how horrible this particular store is? It's so sad to me that the customer service is so bad. This is the third time experiencing this from this location. Bunch of little younglings who don't bother to make the customer experience stand out. We're not asking to cater to us, but a simple GENUINE, "I'm sorry, I can't help you." will suffice. I purchase some items online. They had a washed/worn appearance but tags were on. I get it there are clothes that even when "when new" they look like that because that is the style. Any how, I tried them on and did not like how they looked on me. I returned them by mail and almost a month later after the return, I get an e-mail saying that they have sent the items back because they were worn. I never wore the ítems other than to try them on. I called customer service and the guy who answered heard my explanation and said "well it seems that the team has made their decision, they said the items were worn." So, be careful when returning purchases by mail because they might not refund you! I will definitely no longer be a Zara customer. read more

I've been to this store a couple times. NO one has a name tags first off so I found that to be interesting. I do think they are a little over priced for some of the quality of the clothes. I came in yesterday, Saturday to just look around and see what they had. I saw these winter blazers/suede that were on a rack with pants and a bunch of these blazer coats. There was a sign above the rack that said $35.99 so I asked the lady that worked there (platinum highlights) with a head set on. I asked her were these blazers on sale, she said yes that was the price. Regular rice was $69.00. So I ended up getting 2 and my daughter 1. When we get to the register the young lady who rang us up scanned the items and I noticed the were not on sale. So I told her where I found them as there are a bunch on the rack. She was like a deer in headlights, oh I don't know, I'm thinking that's the last thing you need to respond with! So I walked back to the rack and asked the same girl again were these on sale, she said yes! I went back up there and told her and she was like if they are not scanning that price, they are not on sale. This employee #134350 the lack of help and knowledge about what products are on sale baffles me. In the retail world you as a cashier should know what is on sale and if don't know then you should walk the floor before your shift. She then started to put the sensors back on the items we didn't want after she wouldn't honor or even offer a discount for the misinformation. None of that was offered. So service is not a priority. For the prices that Zara charges, I do expect staff especially a manager to be presenting themselves professionally and fashionably. Miranda's the manager that we spoke with had an attitude without question that matched her very casual, rude and unhelpful demeanor. She did nothing for us and also made us feel like we were bothering her. I encouraged Miranda the manager to update her staff on the floor so they can stop telling customers the wrong thing to avoid situations like this. read more

I doubt I will return to this location again, considering they clearly give ZERO care about their customer service and customers. The staff is not knowledgeable on their current sales or fixtures on the sales floor and continues to give customers the wrong information, without any recourse or steps to improve. The so-called "manager" Miranda was very under-dressed to be leading a team at Zara, non-professional and un-approachable. I would've thought she was a customer or running errands. She didn't apologize for anything, nor offer to make amends or hold her staff accountable for confirming the wrong price to items we wanted to purchase UNTIL, we suggested she do something. She acted and looked as if we were an inconvenience, which could not possibly be the case. And when we asked the cashier for the manager's name, she said "We can't give names away." LIKE HUH? Make that make sense please. Because what it's giving is, the blind leading the blind and we don't give out our names or wear name tags because we know we are bound to get a complaint - and often! So I guess I shouldn't be surprised at all that the entire staff is lacking training. And with me having worked in retail for over four years as a Manager, I am just APPALLED at the little attention to customer service and experience displayed at this location, by this team. Attention management!!!!!!!!!! The girl work at fitting room ( the one with hijab) is madly racist. She gave the nastiest attitude when I ask her for a room. I told her I have three items and she didn't even looked at me and mumbled something, so I asked her what was she saying and I guess she assumed that I didn't understand what she was saying she then frowned and shook her head and show me the room, and then i realized she mumbled "10" as room number 10. I love Zara, absolutely one of my favorite stores and I loooove the people who work there usually. I've been to this location a million times, I've been to Zara's around the country and the world, I absolutely adore the clothing line and business. However unfortunately today and few other times previously, I did not have the best experience again with the same associate from the last few times. Turns out she's the manager (whoever she is), and she needs a few lessons or two on how to talk to people especially her customers, customer service is a very important part of business in general. I've been in customer service for a decade now, and I would never treat any of my clients the way she did. I feel bad for the associates who work there because they have to report to this type of a person. You ask her a question, no response and ignores you. You see her being extremely rude to her associates and guests. You ask for another size she literally tells you to find another associate to help you. You ask for her manager, but she pridefully tells you she's the manager and she says doesn't have to give her name. Zara HQ, I understand coronavirus is happening and your staff may be stressed out (for example her - your manager at the Rancho Cucamonga location) but whoever the manager is that was working on 8/15/2020 around 6pm, she had brown hair, average height and just had a sarcastic and pitiful response to everything you "bothered" her with. I've seen a lot of bad reviews on here, that was definitely not my experience today. I came in with my toddler who was just not cooperating with me while shopping. There was a very nice woman working in the fitting room who offered to help me to the elevator since I was carrying several items, plus trying to hold my son. Later, two ladies at the checkout went out of her way to assist me when my son was panicking that he needed to use the restroom. Just genuine niceness all around! Visited this store last week with my mom. We were looking for outfits for an event we had that upcoming weekend. We had never been to a "Zara" before but we were pleasantly surprised with the selection and customer service. We were greeted as we entered and received multiple opportunities to be helped/assisted. While we ended up picking out most of our outfits ourselves, an associate offered some accessories which was fun! In the end we were able to find all the pieces to our outfits for the weekend and received so many compliments! read more

I'm not a Zara shopper but occasionally I'll pop in to check things out if I'm in the area. Today I went to try and return something and I was the first person in the door and in line and the manager was behind the counter scolding an employee. Made me super uncomfortable and when the cashier lady came to the from the manager just moved to the side and continued scolding her. After reading reviews it looks like the manager is the issue and needs to be replaced. If it was uncomfortable for me I'm sure the worker had to be uncomfortable as well. I like shopping at Zara, but today I tried to exchange a birthday gift I received for a smaller size or get store credit but I need a receipt! Other clothing stores I go to don't usually need a receipt for store credit or exchange. Also, the employees there didn't seem like they wanted to work because they would at least try to do something about it and told me to call customer service. So if you need to exchange for Zara make sure whoever gets you a birthday gift from there to give you a gift receipt! I came to this Zara to pick up an order that I had placed online and I also needed to return a shirt I purchased. I stand in the return La line for about 35 minutes and when I reached the front counter and completed my return I informed the cashier that I also had an online order to pick up. She told me that I had to go upstairs for that. OK. I go upstairs and go to the first cash wrap that I see and stand in line for another 15-20 minutes. I see tons of boxes next to the cashier so I assume I'm in the correct place. When I reach the cashier she says oh you have to go over to kids to do order pick ups. By this time I give her a blank stare and Say ok thank you. I go to kids and there was another line, at this point I'm not waiting anymore. The email states that I can come into Zara and ask ANY EMPLOYEE for my package and that is not true at this location. On top of that the store is a MESS I leave and contact customer service about this issue and they were no help as well. I asked them to cancel my order and refund my money. The representative asked me to tell her what the issue was. After explaining my experience to her, her response was "ok I am escalating the issue." I said ok and what about my refund ?
