I had trouble signing up for the unlimited wash plan online so I went to the location in Westland and the attendant came right out was very friendly and helpful and got me signed up. I couldn't of asked for a better Wash. The car was filthy when I went in And it was excellent when I left the blow dryers did an excellent job. I was very happy with my experience. read more

See the below photo of how I left Zax's car wash. My car stopped moving in the car wash. And then the brushes went off. So I beeped the horn, to no response. Beeped a few times and still no response. Finally the lone worker came back out to the car wash...so he could send the next car in while mine sat immobile. The other car motioned to me and that's when he realized his entire loud operation had shut down. He asked me what happened, shrugged and told me to drive out and go through again. So I did, and sat at the paying gate for 5 minutes waiting for him to let me in, which he never did, so I left. (Apparently I was supposed to pay again after an incomplete wash? Apart from the fact that I'm becoming claustrophobic it really wasn't a big deal aside from the employee having no idea how to resolve the problem. But since this guy left me hanging twice without even offering an apology, I'd suggest you give someone other than Zax your money. Unless you've got some time to kill. read more

Yesterday I came to the carwash all lights indicated that it was open. Pull up to the gate to where I pay and Pylon cones are blocking the entrance. I beeped my horn for about three minutes no response no reply from anybody inside. Mind you this was just 20 minutes after opening but looked like nobody was there. Today I get there at 7:20 AM all lights on gates open so I pull up to the garage door and sit there for three minutes honking my horn again. And I think I woke up employee. We stopped by this car wash this morning and my car is just as dirty as it was when we drove in. I'm not sure what is wrong with this location, but something should be done seeing I'm not the only one that has had this issue. The back of my car looks the same as when I drove in! Purchased the unlimited fast pass online and went to redeem it. The guy that came out asked me if I could print it at home because it would take them too long to process it without the printed email. Fine. I did that and the next time I came back to redeem it the girl working alone told me her barcode scanner wasn't working and she wasn't able to look up my code in the system but a tech would be out later and told me to come back another time. And to top it off I tried to use on of their vacuums and it turned on but had no suction so I lost that dollar too read more

During my last visit I asked the young man to please make sure the back of my car is clean because it always gets skipped. They gave out coupons a while back for a free wash. They stapled a post card over the expiration date of 5/31. Well, I hand the guy my coupon and he unstaples it to show me that it's expired. I said they should honor it..... Well, he said the owner won't honor the coupon. So I spent 3 bucks on a a wash (Wednesday deal) and said I won't be back. Why staple over an expiration date?? I went last Saturday for the first time. They had a grand opening with free washes for everyone. I have to say my car came out amazing. The new tire Shine machine made my tires on my f-150 look great. I will definitely by back. Thinking of signing up for their unlimited washes for $19.99 seems like a really good deal. read more

Go here all the time because it is so close to home. Can't complain about anything yet. The workers are always trying their best to clean cars really well and they have always been really nice to me. The one time my car didn't come out clean, I came back around and they gave me a free rewash and said if this ever happens they will wash it again for free. The sign outside their old location near Haggerty Rd. touts new equipment at the new location. So I went to the new location today and the quality of the wash my car received (the "ultimate" wash) was far inferior to the old location and not worth the money. Wheels, rear bumper, deck lid and license plate depression were not clean and the dryers left more water on the car. I won't be going back. I have went to this place on 8\2817 . I picked the 4.99 car wash and payed with a $20 dollar bill through the machine then without giving me my change the arm went up to let me through and spit out a $15 voucher. I pulled around and told the worker what had happen and he then wrote his name on the voucher and said his boss wasn't in and he would be in later to fill the cash drawer and asked me to come back later .I came back later after I called the number on the voucher and found that the number on the voucher is not in service and the business phone number just rings and rings and rings . now this is how this shady operation works. he gives the voucher instead of the change so that you must come back to this horrible car wash instead of just simply giving you your change. read more

DO NOT GO HERE (At least you want to get your car damaged)____ My experience going to this car wash was horrible: I went to Zax Car wash (Westland), with the objective to get my car clean/washed instead I got my car damaged (while in neutral inside the car wash tunnel with soap all over my vehicle, the car wash system/tracks started behaving as if it was a blender . My car was pushed to the right (out of the track, then to the left to the right & left over and over then backwards) all of this experience happened while all the washing brushes were over my vehicle ...the employees were NOT paying attention (I Googled the zax car wash & called the first 734 number I found in Google to get help) ...I was calling the Plymouth Zax car wash (but when I explained to Noah (the employee) what was going on, Noah paged the Westland ...I could hear Noah screaming "Hey man you have customers stuck in the tunnel" ....In the meantime the Zax car wash of Westland had made loud noises and stopped by itself (I had huge blue brushes in front of my car and another black truck trapped in front of me .....when I was able to get out of the tunnel I had colorful soap all over my windshield THE NAMEPLATE OF MY VEHICLE WAS MISSING, MY FRONT GILLE WAS CRACKED, MY FRONT BUMPER & HOOD SCRATCH THE AIR INLET OUT OF PLACE, THE REAR VIEW MIRROR MISSING THE OUTSIDE BEZEL THE TIRES SCRATCHED, THE TWO FRONT WHEELS CRACKED........ I supposed to get a phone call from the manager "John" to arrange repairs for my vehicle. John NEVER CALLED (I had call, he does not pick up), I had send email I get no reply .....I need to add that there is an over-weigh employee very verbally abuser, extremely rude at that Zax car wash that stated that was my fault because I did not push the brakes (I was in neutral).....The he also said that was the other customer fault because he push his brakes and his truck was outside of the tracks (according to him, it is everybody's fault BUT Zax car wash) .
