Not super busy inside. Most of the customers were using the drive-thru. It was odd. Here it is March and they were playing Christmas music. The women's restroom door wouldn't close all of the way so it could not be locked. The chicken on the salad was hot but the egg rolls was just warm. First time to go to Zaxby's, and this is some of the worst chicken I've ever had. I ordered chicken tenders and they were so dry. I could barely choke them down. I also called and asked if they just had plain fried wings and they said yes just say you don't want with sauce. They also with or without sauce are terrible. read more

Placed an order via the mobile app. Curbside service was good. They were quick and the employee was very nice and polite. The issue was with the food. We ordered extra seasoning on the fries but, received fries with basically no seasoning. I called in and asked for all flats plus for my wings to be well done. Neither happened. I got 2 flats and the chicken was definitely not well done. We also ordered the cheddar bites which are a waste because they had like a tiny drop of cheese in them. New Zaxby's in Aiken needs new management! This location spent a lot of money for upgrades. But very rarely are both of the lanes even opened in the process seems to be even slower than the previous location. They are constantly running out of items as far as the signature menu is concerned. When the lanes are backed up the traffic goes all the way back out into the main road. It just seems like a waste of money to go through this process of upgrading just to not utilize majority of the new upgrades. They're consistently out of the signature sauces, wings, and other items. New management and more employees outside would fix most of the issues. Food taste great and that's about it! read more

Just walked into this restaurant (only customers) a young man told the girl at the window that she had customers and she took a deep dreaded sigh and walked to the back. While we were standing there two guys from the back peeped around and one of them spoke out and said "customers are at the counter" needless to say we were still ignored! We waited a little while longer and continued to be ignored. We walked out. All we needed was a few gift cards and could not even get helped. This zaxbys is the best I have been to by far. We are from out of town for a baseball tournament. Zaxbys is always know for quick and generous service but the manager at this one today was by far excellent as his job. I am a director of food service and he has great people skills. The building was wrapped with cars in drive though the line was out the door for dine in and take out yet he still got customers through the line fast and food out of the kitchen fast. While running around from ringing up people at the register from expo at the window to assisting the kitchen he continue to talk to the customers and this to me goes a long way. He was always talking to the kitchen with great encouragement letting them know they are doing a great job! Way to go Aiken Zaxbys! I believe his name was David! read more

I visited Zaxby's in Aiken this evening. I am from the area, but have never been to the drive thru at this establishment. The young lady at the drive thru was very rude. When I said thank you she turned away and did not respond. Also, I ordered the 10 piece traditional wings and only received 8. There was no celery with my wings which I thought always came with wing orders. I will choose another wing place from now on! read more

I just visited the drive thru on Whiskey Rd. in Aiken, SC. Wanted to order online for delivery or door dash. Couldn't do either. Wouldn't let me create an account. This is not the first problem I've had at this location. When I said something to the drive thru attendant about how I couldn't order online for delivery, she said " Well it's ALL CORPORATE" Do better Zaxbys!! The food at Zaxby's is good. The service is ok depending who you get. But, one of my all-time pet peeves when going through the drive thru is when they hand you your drink and it isn't filled properly. Have only visted here once but that one time was a great experience! We showed up after my baby doctor appointment as soon as they opened I want to say around 10:30am. Anyways we were greeted by almost everyone behind the counter. The cashier was so nice and helpful. Brought our food out to us. Food was great! I went back after I ate and we both got milkshakes! I went in To Zaxby's in Aiken to tryout their. New chicken sandwich. I went in because I thought it would be faster. I counted at least 9 people working there. They had 1 person working the register. As a I waited on my order, I went to fill my drink cup. Their fancy auto fill machine was not working, so I settled for iced tea. The line was getting longer and the young woman was in the weeds. Water was all over the floor around the drunk area. Eventually 2workers came out to move the water around with a mop. As I waited for my order, a woman with a manager tag slowly left the restaurant. During this time there were 2 more workers trying to figure out the drink machine. Finally got my food and left. The sandwich was over done and too salty, the lettuce was limp. The fries were cold and limp. I doubt I will go back. When a manager leaves without making sure the equipment is working, the water off the floor (hazard) and drive thru people screwing up orders-- it's not a place that will get my business. read more

So I've never had Zaxby's before today so I hope this review does it somewhat justice. My friend recommended it to me saying it was on par with Chickfila and I love Chickfila. So we went thru the drive thru late at night and I got the Nibblerez which were basically 3 mini chicken sandwiches with some zesty Zaxby special sauce. It came with fries and a drink for the combo. The order came out quickly with no hassle and no issues. I came promptly to the hotel to take my first ever bite of chicken greatness....and I was not disappointed in the least. Each bite was savory and I wish it wouldn't end. Each bite had also just enough sauce to give the necessary flavor to continue chewing and keep eating. However the one thing I would say wasn't expected was the fries. Despite what my friend lauded them for, these fries seemed soggy and a bit overdue on being in my stomach. That being the case I think it was due to being late at night and the time we went that was their overall downfall in status. But overall my initial experience was an overall success and will definitely go back to try some more of their delicious menu items! read more

I can't fault the food....the problem is getting the food. The online catering order system will only let you order food for the same day. I was trying to order food four days early for Mother's Day. Since I couldn't do it online, I called the restaurant and tried to place the order on the phone. The young person who attempted to help me didn't know the catering products. After 10 minutes of being put on hold several times, I told her I'd come place the order in person, which I did. I personally handed my printed out order to the manager, and he assured me he would report the online ordering problem and have my food ready on Mother's Day. One hour before I was to pick up my order, I got a voicemail telling me that my order was canceled because I hadn't paid for it in advance. At no time while I was in the restaurant giving my order to the manager did he tell me I need to pay for it. So, I had 12 people at my house waiting for food, and no food was available. Someone supposedly from upper management called me a couple days later, but he was more interested in defending his employee who had already told him several falsehoods than hearing what really happened. Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced in any retail situation. This was an $80+ order. Unfortunately, this Zaxby's has lost my business forever. read more
