I won't be returning. Came in on lunch. The cashier ordered me the wrong food then looked at me like I was an idiot when I came back up and mentioned it to them. Finally get my order after 20-some minutes waiting and realize it's the wrong food, exactly what I had told the cashier that I hadn't ordered. After I purchased my order I asked for a cup of water and the cashier told me that I was 25 cents for a cup or water after I had already purchased an item. 25 cents does not hurt my pockets, but it ridiculous that a paying customer has to pay for water. This might be the fastest Zaxby's I have ever been too. Maybe they've all upped their service since it's been a long time since I've been been to one. We don't have Zaxby's where I'm from, so when my friend said Zaxby's had good chicken salads, I was a bit skeptical. From the outside, it seems like your average fast food joint. I ordered the chicken caesar salad and holy hell - the salads are huge! I loved the homemade croutons and devoured the entire bowl. The chicken was seasoned well and they give you plenty of dressing. Whoever put this on Ponce is a freaking genius. Excellent location if you frequent downtown or midtown often. The food and the prices are fine. The only small complaint that I have is the traffic. The place was crowded when I went. They had a cop telling cars to circle the building so that they could get in the drive thru line. I followed the rules correctly but another snuck in front of me when the cop stepped inside for a minute. smh. Other than that it was a good experience. I will check this spot out again. read more

Me and my husband stopped at this location because they were open later then most locations! We came inside because we like our chicken fried well done. We patiently waiting in line ordered our food with the nonchalant heavy set cashier. We politely asked for our chicken to be extra crispy just simply said your order number is 11. I reemphasized that's I wanted the chicken cooked well done. She reluctantly said okay. So annoying! We waited about 5 mins our food was ready. We already knew it wasn't well done because it came up too fast . Still check to see and of course it wasn't!! Returned food asked for it to be cooked as requested.... waiting maybe 7 mins food came back out cooked exactly how it was the first time! We had to personally ask the cook did he cook it well done. He simply said no! Like wtf! Mind you the manager was present the whole time taking no initiative to help the situation! (Like no wonder the whole crew is oblivious) we returned my husband food the third time . I was obliged to keep my salad the way it was because I couldn't watch them throw it away a second time!! The cook was confused as to why it wasn't cooked correct we simply said we want it well done! He said the chicken is fresh I just made it! Showing a overloaded fry basket of chicken tenders . Definitely the WORST Zaxby's I've been to. Food was awful. Ordered a Big Zax Snack with Fried Cheddar Bites. Fries were not seasoned, bread was white as snow, the batter the chicken was tossed in was no good (I can tell because I use to work at Zaxby's and it's very evident when the batter needs to be changed out), and did not receive the sauce that comes with the bites. Called the restaurant to say something, asked for the GM and heard them in the background say to put me on hold. Stayed on the phone for 10mins, until I decided to try and call again, but the phone was taken off the hook. You're doing horrible sweetie. read more

I love Zaxby's. This location was terrible. The restaurant was dirty. The drink machine didn't have ice and half the beverages were unavailable. Our food took a long time to arrive and when it did mine and my husband sandwiches were upside down and put together very sloppily. My chicken was pink and raw. I went through the drive thru and I was half way to my destination when I reach into the bag and there's a cold wet lump under my chips. A raw piece of chicken! I drive all the way back for the man to insult me by insinuating that I put it in there myself!! All I wanted was my money back and he tried to argue with me stating that "We don't serve this chicken" and I've reviewed the tapes. The manager made me wait for more than 15 min when there were no other people in line. I did not make a scene, I stood there waiting patiently. I'm sorry but reviewing tapes trying to prove a customer wrong for a meal that cost $6.43 wasting their time in the process is crapy customer service and is a failure to take responsibility for the mistakes of your establishment. He was condescending and rude. He should've thought before he spoke. To accuse someone of putting a raw piece of meat in their meal is absurd; like I'm just driving around with raw meat in my car to get a free meal? No! I don't have time for that! If you work in customer service you should know how to treat every one the same. I could've made a huge scene, demanded gift cards, made threats to call the health department, but I'm not that person. I was polite and patient. I filed a complaint on their website. Obviously, I'm still a little pissed. This is a health Concern! The rating they have is good. I think it's a 100. The food is good, when you finally get it. It's just that. The wait is almost always outrageous. Whether you be there at 11 on a Friday or 10 on a Monday, there is guaranteed to be a 10 minute wait, if you're lucky. 10 has been my fastest experience, 25, the longest. They are just so busy. But with that being said, they do their best with what they have. I would definitely go again, just don't expect it to be an in and out transaction. read more

Zaxby's is amazing!!! It's absolutely one of my favorite chain restaurants in existence. Unlike another Zaxby's that I critiqued, I found that the service at this location was at par. I would order my food and be amazed as to how fast and efficiently everyone got my food out. Horrible to 10th power! This is the closest 20 minute drive ZAXBYS I do not know why I continued to give this establishment the benefit of the doubt. The service is horrible from the kitchen to the front. There are some good employees with proper etiquette and customer service skills. Food is a representation of the FOUNDATION and it must be prepared with effectiveness placing health at the upmost level. They overcook the tenders, serve old cold tasteless fries, over ripped tomatoes that were ment for the landfill, add and omit things to the orders and all with an attitude. I guess half the staff is related to the owners or the managers as many complaints as this location has, it continues to keep the same employees that could care less about the establishment it's just a JOB for them. Prepare food the way you would want someone to prepare yours! Pay more attention to the orders before you add the wrong item to someone who may actually be allergic to such addition item. Put a hair net on the entire staff need to pin up their wigs weave and braids when operating around food from the front to the back of the house. I love Zaxby's food! That said, this location is one I steer clear of. Employees yelling across the dining room at others. One employee's children were being babysat by large sodas at a table while the employee worked. No garbage receptacle in men's room. Dirty tables. There is usually water on the floor near the soda machines which tells me there is an unmanaged leak. The parking lot does not feel safe, as there are usually people loitering in and near it. Steer clear of this place. read more
