I wasn't trying to game the system for a refund but after years of great steak sandwiches from Woody's for well over a decade, I thought about it simmering. Woody's UBER Eats cost you a long time customer who used to laud your authenticity and because of one poor performance won't be back.

The food itself was pretty underwhelming. Nothing was especially BAD, but very little was memorable either. For a place with this much history and reputation, I expected more. I'm glad I checked the box. I guess I understand why people come here, and I understand why it matters to Atlanta. For me, though, this was a once-and-done experience. Glad I went. No real desire to go back.

The Zaxby's in Loganville on Atlanta Hwy, has exceptional customer service!! It's very common to order fast food and receive an order that is incorrect. I was very surprised to visit Zaxby's today and EVERY SINGLE THING was ON POINT! From the time I pulled into the drive thru line, which was long but moved quickly to the time I received my order. The young lady that took my order was friendly, professional, and accurately confirmed my order. The gentleman at window, named Timothy, was very polite, professional, and took the extra step to ask about my wellbeing. Timothy confirmed my order before taking my payment for my order, offered if I would like any specific sauce other than ketchup, and assured me the food would be fresh before handing me the bag. I was so caught off guard by the level of service I received, that I immediately called a friend and said "Zaxby's is doing better than ever, and I'm only going to the Zaxby's on ATL Hwy, because I haven't received service like this in a long time". When I got home the food was exactly what I ordered and hot, which is what Timothy promised. I usually don't write review, but I definitely wanted to share my experience with others. I continue to have an amazing experience at the Zaxby's store on Ponce! I order from here ALL THE TIME!! From the moment I walk in, the store is clean and well maintained, and I am always greeted with a warm smile and friendly service. The staff is always incredibly attentive with me and they always make sure my order is prepared perfectly. I ordered the Big Zax Snak Meal and a Traditional Wings and Things tossed in Tongue Torch, and as always, it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Last Night, There was a large crowd in the store, and the staff up front was working diligently, in keeping up with the high demand of orders. Unfortunately, there was a rude customer, who I guess was waiting on his meal, but Shoutout to the Manager Bright who handle the situation amazingly, with a smile on his face, and with a sense of care and courtesy to the customer. I live down the street from this particular Zaxbys store on Ponce, and I ABSOLUTELY enjoy coming to eat there. I came in to the store today, and although it was busy, the staff made sure that I was accommodated and given an A1 experience. Today, I finally got a chance to try out the New Blue Salad with Fried Chicken, and this is by FAR now my favorite salad on the menu!!!!!! Everything was fresh, plated proportionally, and tasted AMAZING!!! I love the way the blue cheese crumbles and the drizzle of the Buffalo Garlic Blaze sauce compliments each other. The customer service upfront is always positive and on point when I come to the store. The Manager, Bright, really gave me an amazing experience. He was a very polite and respectful young man. He made my experience there worth the wait. DEFINITELY my top choice fast food restaurant for an excellent meal!!! read more

So disappointed! For the second time in two weeks I tried to order the Zensation salad. Both times there was only the breading from the chicken fingers with the tiniest niblet of chicken. The onion straws and wontons were missing and the slaw was so watery the salad bowl was filled and soggy. As for the staff, i was the only customer there but could barely place my order because the staff was yelling and talking so loudly. The exterior of the store was filthy. I do not know why Zaxby's put a Location here. The people who work here are absolute pieces of shit. The managers are fucking trash. I did to the window and asked for my drink and fries to be upgraded to a large and they're like yeah we can't do that sorry and then the managers like yeah we can't do that. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Legit blatantly racist employees. Crawling with homeless people who assault you in your car in the drive through. And they can't get an order right after making you sit there for 30+ minutes. Had THREE OCCASIONS WHERE THEY TOLD ME TO PULL UP AND THEN FORGOT ABOUT ME. So shocked and disappointed. Counter tops were nasty with drink spilled. I dined in and the table was yucky. I cleaned the table off. I ordered a salad; the lettuce was not chopped up plus I had the core and thick chucks of the lettuce. I ate half of the salad and left. I won't be back to that one. read more

I know most people may not come across this review, but if you do, please take it seriously. This place was not only unprofessional; it was downright disrespectful. I pulled into the drive-thru and waited 15 minutes in line. No big deal! I understand places get busy. When I finally reached the window, I ordered a chicken strip tray with double fries and a sweet tea. That's a simple order... I worked at Cook Out for over four years in North Carolina, so I know exactly how this should be prepared. It doesn't take more than four or five minutes and everything's coming out of the fryer. After I paid, I sat at the window for another five minutes waiting on my food. I could see the cashier visibly frustrated, asking the fry station worker where my tray was. Eventually, a manager came over, asked for my order, and started helping the cashier put together everyone else's orders. About 30 to 45 seconds later, I finally received my tray. But here's where things went completely downhill. I opened the tray and saw crumbs...literally the bottom-of-the-bag scraps of chicken tenders. No full tenders. No meat. Just fried breading. I calmly showed the cashier and asked for a proper tray. One of the workers shrugged and said, "We can't help how the chicken comes out of the bag." Seriously? Then the manager, Toni, came over and asked what the problem was. I explained that these were crumbs, not tenders, and that I would like actual chicken strips. Her response? "Those are chicken strips." I told her, respectfully, that I've worked at Cook Out. I know the standard. I'm not being picky, I'm just asking for what I paid for. She looked me dead in the face and said, "You can take it or leave it." So I asked for a refund. She snarkily asked the cashier, "How did he pay?" I told her I used my card. She told me to tap it again for the refund. I was hesitant, because who wants to be double-charged for something they didn't even eat? But I complied. Afterward, I asked for a receipt. Toni told me the printer wasn't working. I asked how I was supposed to know if the refund actually went through. She said, "Honey, you gotta trust me. I'm being 100%. What do I have to lie for?" I'll tell you why that's laughable--because if you can't serve me a proper chicken strip tray, why would I trust you to refund my money...? I asked for the corporate number. She told me, "You worked at Cook Out. Look it up." When I asked to see one of the bags or cups with the number printed on it, she rolled her eyes and said, "Look on the back of that big ass tea you got." At that point, I said, "You're right. Thanks for the reminder. Have a blessed day." And I left. I immediately called the 1-800 number to report the incident. What's truly heartbreaking is that I love Cook Out. It was my first job, and I take pride in what the brand stands for. But this location? This was the most despicable experience I've ever had at any restaurant, and it pains me to say that. The lack of care, the disrespect, and the condescending dismissiveness from the manager were completely unacceptable. If corporate happens to see this, please know: Toni should not be in any position that involves customer service. This location is giving your brand a terrible name. Do better. Please.

The staff member taking our order rushed me through the process, even though it was my first time at this particular location, and I wanted to take a moment to review the menu. Despite this, she repeated everything back to us, so I assumed the order was correct. When we reached the drive-through window, they took my payment and handed me my card back along with two drinks. However, the drinks were smaller than the sizes we ordered, and I couldn't get their attention to address the issue because they had already closed the window and weren't paying attention to us. We received our food and pulled into a parking spot to check the bag. Right away, we noticed the kid's meal--the very first item we ordered--was missing. My girlfriend went inside to resolve the issue, but instead of fixing the problem, the staff member argued with her, claiming we never ordered the meal. To make matters worse, we couldn't prove it because we were never given a receipt. Frustrated and without resolution, we decided to leave. As we drove away, we stopped somewhere else to grab food for the child and decided to check our meals more closely. The moment we opened the bags, an overwhelming smell of cigarettes hit us. The food reeked of it, and upon closer inspection, we found that half the food was burnt while the other half had mistakes--like ketchup on burgers we specifically requested without it. The food was completely inedible. We couldn't even stomach a single bite. When we got home, we ended up throwing it all in the trash and eating something else. This experience was beyond unacceptable. From the poorly trained staff and incorrect orders to the inedible food that smelled and tasted terrible, everything about this visit was a failure. This is not how food service should operate, and I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone visit this location. Until there is a complete overhaul of the staff or significant improvements are made, I urge others to avoid this place entirely. If I could give this location a zero out of 1,000, I would.
