We waited in the drive thru for over an hour. 15 minutes of that was at the box waiting on someone to ask for our order when no one was ahead of us....20 minutes at the window waiting for someone to take our payment and get our order. Finally! An ITP location!! Someone told me Zaxby's and KFC cut a deal that Zaxby's wouldn't build any restaurants within the city limits for a certain timeframe and that timeframe expired. Whatever the reason doesn't really concern me... it's Zaxby's and that's some good grub! I always order the Buffalo Blue Zalad (No spellcheck I meant for it to have a Z). It's filling and does a great job of making me feel like I'm doing something good for my body. *Don't worry, I'm under no illusions... I know what's going down.* Recently tried the banana pudding milkshake. I would trade my first born (of one ever pops out) for one of these shakes, it was that delicious! I will mention that it was borderline too sweet for me which I thought was unheard of, but you know I finished it. Yeah, the line is crazy sometimes but they're open early/late enough where you can catch them at a reasonable wait time. I haven't yet but you can order online. The customer service has always been great! The manager and the employees are always helpful and attentive and my order is never wrong. read more

Woah Woah!! Why have I been sleeping on ZAXBYS???? I guess because before this one the closest one to me was 40 mins away chile. Well let's just say it was worth the wait. This was my first time in my 23 years of living eating Zaxbys!! The drive thru line was insance when we pulled up but it move pretty fast. Drive thru cashier was nice!! Food is $$ and my meal did not come with a drink Oh well. It was good. I would go back. People are telling me to try the salad I will . Everytime I pass this place its always a LINE!! I wish I knew what time was consider a down time but I guess since its NEW & its one finally in the CITY downtime???? is not a factor here.. What are you waiting on go get you some. read more

I have never had a problem with this Zaxby's. The food is always great, and even if I come towards the end of closing I can tell my food is fresh. Some Zaxby's will try and pass off their tiny little chicken fingers that were left around all day for end of the night orders, but not this place. Sometimes the drive thru can get long, but I feel they do their best to keep it moving. read more

They're always begging someone to give them a positive review that they don't deserve. Attitudes are always nasty unless the manager is in sight. This place definitely has a lot of bad reviews and while I can say sometimes I do get bad service here, I find it completely understandable given the amount shit they get from their customers. Today specifically the drive thru was fully packed at 4:00 (shift change time) and several customers were upset claiming someone else stole their online orders- messed up, but they didn't have to be rude to the employees. Anyways while all of that was going on I had parked and was waiting for my food, not that long but long enough that I just went inside to go grab it when it was ready. My food had actually been sitting on the counter for a bit, so the guy in charge that day, I'm assuming he was the manager, saw it and immediately had it re made- took less than 6 minutes and I was completely satisfied with the quality of the food that I received. I absolutely love Zaxby's. On a recent business trip I was lucky enough to be near a location. But this location experience was a bit unsettling. This is the only Zaxbys I have been to which has an armed body guard in full tactical gear. Talk about unsettling being at the restaurant at dark. Some customers gave me the looks as if they were measuring me up or wondering what I was doing in the area. That all aside; I enjoyed my 6 pc chicken finger meal. My last wish would most likely include Zaxs sauce. The meal was what I missed but the environment was not. read more

The location on Ponce de León is a poor excuse for a Zaxby's. Ordering through DoorDash, my food arrived 3 hours late with missing add-ons and incorrect drink (and watered down because all the ice melted). This is not a DD driver problem--it's a Zaxby's problem. By the time I got my food, it was cold and soggy. Thank gods for air fryers. Yes, this location has long lines around it, and you would think it would be because they are popular and busy in the good ways. This experience shows how bad their customer service is, the lack of care for their products, and disinterest in fixing their problems. read more

Dont have any issues with this zaxbys. I use the drive-up and my order is always correct and prompt. The only problem I seem to run into is the location. I always seem to pass it when I'm coming from Ponce city market and have to do a U-turn to get back to the entrance. read more

it was terrible. first of all they made us wait 5 minutes before ordering which if fine but after we ordered they told us to pull around. waited 25 minutes before we got out food and they didn't even give us it all. they gave us half of it and said that was all whenever it clearly wasn't. super super slow service along with multiple cars waiting to get there food. we went and talked to a manager and they said " we forgot " and they asked if we " still wanted " our food that we bought, what does that even mean. This is unexceptionable I'll make sure to let everyone know that this place is terrible. Probably one the worst fast food experiences I've had in a long time. The food came out quickly and was hot, but average in flavor the chicken was tough. That's the best thing about the experience. The counter staff was about as disinterested as it gets, did not respond to my question about payment, and didn't bother to say "hello," "thanks," or anything other than the total price. But the dining room was the real issue. However since I've moved to the city this particular location has really been a pain. Every time I go they are rude, my food is cold my bread is rock hard. We left the club thinking about food. We'd decided on Jack's Pizza and Wings. We got there and the kitchen was closed. So we left and decided to head towards Ponce because they have tons of eating options. Siri told us that Zaxby's was open until 3. We both assumed that couldn't be right but we'd try it anyway. Pull up to the Zaxby's drive-thru at 2:18 a.m. and sure enough they were open. I ordered the chicken finger plate with 5 fingers. Instead of celery I got an extra toast and a strawberry Fanta. I waited until we got back to the hotel to eat. The good: The fries were still good and the drink was delicious. The bad: Both pieces of toast they gave me were dry, hard and folded. They probably didn't even make anymore toast, just gave us what was left. The ugly: Is it just me or the chicken fingers at Zaxby's just get smaller and smaller? I ordered 5, they gave me five, it felt like I was eating two and a half. All in all, the fact that this location is open late is great but if they're going to be open that late they still need to have fresh food. Zaxby's is going downhill quickly. read more

Stopped here for a quick bite before the concert. I got the 4 pc chicken tender plate no slaw, all fries. The food came out fast, fresh and hot. This is a small Zaxby's, and may not be in the best location, it's kind of in the hood. The food was tasty and the cashiers were friendly and smiling. My chicken tenders were tender and the fries had the right amount of seasoning salt on them. I will go back to this Zaxby's when I'm in the area again read more

If this wasn't the only Zaxby's nearby I probably would never walk in there in my life again. The prices at this Zaxby's are noticeably higher than at other locations. What is the deal with that? Same food should be the same price at another location that's just a few miles away. This Zaxbys is pretty bad. We ordered 2 signature sandwiches (with no pickles) and it took about 15 mins to make it to the drive thru window. We were then told that the filets weren't ready and to pull forward. We waited over 30 minutes for our food to come out, and both sandwiches had pickles on them. You can take them off but it still tastes so much like pickles. They also didn't give us any of the sauce (that we paid for) so I had to go back in and get it. It almost made us late for our aquarium visit and the food was mediocre. Do not recommend. read more

Went to This location on 3/18/22 at 9:35. Ordered a fry with sweet and spicy sauce. No sauce in the bag. Almost gave us the wrong order. And my fries were unseasoned. Called the store with no answer how am I expected to enjoy my meal without all of the components. The line was wrapped around the building which is why I did not turn back.
