Pulled in to order at 10:05pm and was told at the drive through they were closed. Checked Google & the website & both said they close at 10:30. Watched someone else behind me turned away as well. I'm sitting here watching the chaos that is this Zaxby's in our post-COVID country of people who don't want to work, and have great admiration for the patience and kindness of the young lady at the counter, who singlehandedly is taking orders, bagging them and calling out numbers, and all the while dealing with numerous complaints. Well after a long time of not going here. I decided to take a chance. It was a bad decision. Food was terrible. Even the drink was wrong. Ordered coke and got some mixture of coke and sprite. If you're getting off I 20 to eat don't eat here. I've had better chicken at a gas station. In another review on huddle house I said they would go out of business. And they did. This Zaxbys is next. This is the last uncrowded exit before getting toward the beach. This zaxbys has a field beside it perfect for exercising a pet or small child (watch for ants). Friendly staff and nice Coca-Cola freestyle machine. I've never had any Zaxby's before and didn't really know what to expect. I thought they'd have traditional fried chicken like KFC, Popeyes, or my favorite, Lee's Famous Recipe. Seems like they only have fingers and wings, and sandwiches. No biggie, it was delicious. This was the most efficient Zaxby's that we had ever been to! We were behind one car and they received their food and we did promptly after-- the food was hot, fresh and the order was exactly correct. This was particularly appreciated because we were in a rush. SLOW BUT GOOD FOOD.... If you are looking for a quick stop, this is not it; if you have the time- give it a try. As we were traveling home, we stopped at this Zaxby's for lunch. It was 2:00 on a Saturday and the place was packed- most likely because it's so close to the interstate and a 'different' option. The outside bins were full and the line waiting for their ordered food was long. We ordered and waited and waited. The food was great and the service was good. One staff member was very busy cleaning tables, floors and the restroom, doing a great job for the number of people there. We ordered the chicken..ha! Several different options from the menu...wings, fingers, sandwiches and we were all pleased. We spent just over an hour from start to finish in the restaurant and the outside bins were empty when we left. I would recommend this restaurant .... As long as you have time. read more

This is probably the best fast food place in Bishopville. The food is always fresh and hot. Most of the time the employees are friendly and helpful. The inside is clean and a good atmosphere. You almost never have to wait long on the food. They also have amazing shakes. read more
