Why are the Chipotle ranch tacos so delicious?? First time trying Zaxby's. Stopped here after striking out on finding anything southern and affordable in historic Savannah. This wasn't really the fried chicken experience we were hoping for, but we were so hot, tired, and angry after our trip into the city that we settled for fast food. At least it was something new for us. The crinkle cut seasoned fries were surprisingly delicious. I usually don't like seasoned fries, but something about Zaxby's seasoning blend hit vaguely of home. It must share a couple of spices with Old Bay. I had the Kickin' Chicken Sandwich because the Texas toast style bread looked full of carbs and comforting. It was a fine sandwich. I wouldn't get it again, but the half I took back to the hotel with me still hit at room temperature, so there's that. Jeremy had the garlic Buffalo wings. The woman behind the counter told him it was third on their spice level, but they weren't spicy at all. They weren't overly garlicky either. I'm glad he liked them. They didn't appeal to me, but I don't like Buffalo flavor. He also got some chicken sandwich, which he has no recollection of two days later, as I write this. He does remember those tacos, though. I'm not sure we would return to Zaxbys. We were warmly greeted, and the service was excellent, but you can get better chicken sandwiches elsewhere. Maybe for the tacos. read more

I don't usually leave reviews, but this Zaxby's location is an absolute nightmare. The staff is unbelievably rude and unprofessional--every time I've ordered here, they've either messed up my order or tried to charge me double for what I got. When I asked about it, I was met with attitude instead of help. The restaurant itself is disgusting. I actually saw a mouse running near the counter, which is beyond unacceptable. The bathrooms are just as bad--the doors won't even open properly, and they clearly haven't been cleaned in ages. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. Zaxby's should be embarrassed to have their name on this location. read more

All of the staff in the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. They have good customer service skills and move with purpose.

Filthy 4 out of 15 tables clean and all trash cans were over flowing trays piled up I understand the drive thru was busy but only 3 people eating in the store and it this bad is just awful. read more

This store has a number of issues. Subpar food, messy floors, and bad service. EVERYTIME I place an order on the app at this store for drive-thru pickup, they tell me to pull to spot 1. I came through the drive thru on a Sunday afternoon with my family of 8. The food was hot, accurate, and delicious. Staff was very quick and friendly. The facility looked to be very clean from the outside. It was an overall good experience. I would recommend and return. The only negative remark that I have is that the fries lacked the typical seasoning utilized by other Zazby locations leaving the fries to be pretty bland. read more

Firstly, I'm not a fan of fast food. But i absolutely love Xaxby's! ! So tonight my husband wanted some spicy wings. The last time I ordered from that other chicken place it was absolute shit! So I decided to do a Zaxby's curbside. I had to register online and that took a while, but I finally got there, made my order, and went to pick it up. It's not that far, so I figured it would be ready. I pulled in the curbside slot and notified them of my number where I was parked. And waited, and waited, and waited. I finally called, and of course no one answered so I left a nasty message. I finally drove around to the drive through order microphone and asked where my damned order was! This place was not that busy!!!!!! They asked my name, then told me to pull around. My food was brought out immediately. I asked why it took so long, but got no answer. Whilst on the road to Florida, we decided to visit Zaxby's since there was so many billboards for it. I went here thinking it was am equivalent of KFC/Popeyes, but its more of a sandwich joint based around chicken. There are other options like chicken tenders and nuggets too. I ordered the Big Zax Snak since it looked good enough to keep me going, but get a feel for the place. OMG, the tenders were so...tender! and moist! These guys know how to make chicken right! We were excited to try Zaxby's, as the chain does not exist in New England. Now having eaten there, we will be happy for it never to come north. We ordered the Cobb chicken salad, chicken tenders, and the grilled chicken sandwich. Tenders: aficionados of white meat will be pleased by the color at least. Zaxby's is pretty good and this location was consistent with what I've experienced in the past. Employees helpful and nice! Food made quickly and orders correct. Food tasty and as expected! They finally have a chicken sandwich with a chicken filet instead of several strips. It was really good! Got mine with Mayo and lettuce and dad got his with the regular sauce it comes with - both were yummy. Love the seasoned fries too. My mom loves the zensational zalad (Asian inspired and comes with an egg roll) but sadly it's seasonal and difficult to find. She got a different classic salad this time but also enjoyed it! Something is up with fast food joints these days. We tried several McDonald's heading down 95 to Florida and no one seemed to be manning the drive throughs or they got the order wrong. Out of frustration we went to Zaxby's next door. Chicken sandwich was ok, buffalo bites were unremarkable but one of the french fries were so nasty I had to induce vomiting in the bushes. Please do not eat at this Zaxby's or the one located on SSI they are owned by the same person/Llc . They are discussing people my daughter quit her job for a better opportunity and went and picked up her final check and they had reduced her hourly wages by nearly half from 13.50 to 7.25 which is against the law and is considered wage theft. They make these mostly teenagers and 20 years sign a paper saying they reduce their last pay check if they quit or get fired but my daughter did not sign this form But they do not care I told them I would be contacting a lawyer and their response was everyone says that but no one ever does but what they don't know is that I am not everyone!! Taking advantage of young adults and teenagers that do not understand the law. My daughter is a single mom with a 6 month old baby. It's just unbelievable that this company could do this !! If I could give zero stars, I would! This place was so terrible. First of all, I asked for zax sauce and they were out. I've never been to a Zaxby's that was out of sauce. They were also out of ketchup, Coca Cola, Dr. Pepper, Sweet Tea. I asked to get ranch since I couldn't get zax sauce, I paid the extra fee, and she did not give me the sauce until we repeatedly asked. The staff was rude and they obviously don't know how to run a restaurant! Management should be changed to someone who knows how to order the correct amount of supplies for their customers. At this Zaxby's right now and have been waiting for 40 minutes for my food. I got a simple nipplerz meal with a coke. I asked one cashier how much longer it would be, and she told me to "just hang on." As a paying costumer, it is simply rude and disrespectful to tell your costumer to just "hang on" when a fast food restaurant should take 10 minutes not an hour. Very disappointed and upset. Update: went to the manager to complain after waiting 50 minutes and he looked at the chef and said "make order 27's food....." as in throughout the entire 50 minutes she had not begun to make my food. Nashiya was wonderful. Greeted us as we came in, and she kept a positive attitude throughout the rest of her guests. The cleanliness of the restaurant was below par, but my expectations were not too high in that dept. long wait for food (it's next to a truck stop) so it's expected to be longer than usual. I feel this place is highly understaffed which is affecting the overall operations. One cashier, one order taker(drive through) and one cook. The lady taking my order started talking and not looking at me. I thought she was talking to the girl next to her. I will say it is a bit busy, but she had resting bitch face. No smile. Here to go? Worst service ever caused by staff's lackluster approach towards drive thru customer service. I ordered a meal with a drink and when I received the drink there was no ice in the drink. I went inside to inquire about why there was no ice drink and I was informed that they didn't have ice for their drinks. I really like zaxbys it must be this location because I came here the other night and bought two kids meals and the chicken was a dark brown and it tasted like the fryer oil needs to be changed because the taste was horrible when I called back and talk to the manager they said I would need to bring it back right away I was already home when we started to eat it so I wasn't going back out that night and it was storming also. The manager was real short and said I need to bring it back to get replacement but I didn't want to replace them with the oil being nasty.
