As much as I love zaxbys I won't be going back. Last time I went I placed an online order and it gave me a time it'd be ready. That time comes and goes and I wait 10 minutes figuring maybe they are behind. I go up and ask about my order and they had it sitting behind the counter. Never called me, never put it on the online order shelf. Then to top it off the drink machine was out of ice and most flavors. Fast forward to today and I decide to give them another shot. Unfortunately same story. By the time i got my food it was cold. Drink machine had coke which was flat and a sign saying dont use ice. Asked for a refund and left. read more

Wow...why all the hate on here for Zaxby's? Zaxby's is by far one of my more favorite fast food options. My personal favorite are the wings and I love the Wings and Things that comes with 3 chicken fingers, 5 wings, fries, and toast. I do wish the Zax Sauce was homemade and not pre-packaged. And there are not many more restaurants I would rather get a salad at than Zaxby's. The Black and Blue is my favorite with blue cheese crumbles, blackened chicken, tomatoes, and fried onions. I mix in Tongue Torch sauce to make a buffalo chicken salad. Sweet tea is always refreshingly sweet! As for the service at this location, I have never had any trouble with the service. Went there a few days ago. Ordered a salad. Guess the employees expected me to eat it with my fingers because I had to go back up there to ask for one. Had to wait before I could get someone's attention for their lack of service. The chicken was cold and flavorless. The toast was stall and hard. Salad was lack luster. Just plain yuck. Got 2 packs of salad dressing that barely was enough. If you going to sell a product-sell it with everything required instead of charging us extra for dressing. Saw an employee that I'm almost 100% sure was a manager come from the back and sat down at a table. pretty sure she noticed how nasty the dining room was, but I guess checking emails on her laptop was more important , instead chose to ignore the leftover food and trash on the tables and floor. The place smelt funny, like dirty mop water was used to clean every surface in that place. Just a waste of time and money on the big bowl of yuck lettuce. Ended up just throwing it away. read more

We are from Ohio visiting family at Fort Rucker. We went through the drive thru for lunch had a great experience. Staff was super friendly the chicken was well cooked and juicy and tender. The best classic chicken sandwich I've ever had from a restaurant. 10/10 read more

Last night was our worst experience at Zaxby's. We ordered a wings n things, something that has made my family huge fans of the restaurant. Our wings n things were horrible. There was no sauce on the wings at all! Usually the wings are saturated with sauce and delicious. The wings were dried out and hard. We were unable to eat them. We were already home and settled before we realized that our dinner was inedible! We will not be eating here again! read more

This time after waiting in line for 20 minutes, they didn't even put any chicken on my salad, and the lettuce was old and brown. I was on my lunch break and this is what I have to eat?? We stopped by here for lunch on our way to the beach. The food was good and the staff was very friendly. The restrooms and the restaurant both appeared to be very clean. There was plenty of seating and multiple televisions on. Our order was taken quickly and we received our food quickly as well. read more

Sunday evening I pulled into this Zaxby location. It was fully lit with all the lights bright on their signs and the time was 9:01 when I pulled up to the drive thru order box. After sitting there a little bit, a bitter voice came over the speaker and said they were closed. I looked around and said back to the speaker that I did not see any signage saying they were closed and all the lights were bright and on. So I asked why are you now saying you were closed when you still have several cars in line to get up to the window? The female voice just shot like a raspberry "pfffft" over the speaker at me. Well that left a very bitter taste in my mouth. Guess I will take my money and business some where else. This same location has messed up my orders in the past, even not given me extra Zak sauce for my chicken when I have even paid for it. Just do not know anymore. read more

Why I didn't read previous reviews, I'll never know!! Both Zaxby's locations are same distance from the house, so this location won by a coin toss. There was only one car ahead of us and the voice over the speaker was pleasant and didn't rush us at all,(we didn't know exactly). We settled on an order of tater chips, a wings and things meal and 4 chicken strips ala carte. I know how long it takes to cook tater chips to order, and we would wait for fresh.....hint,wink! Message not received. The chips were warm, but definitely not fresh from the fryer, but for that matter, neither was the chicken, fries boneless wings. The service was way too quick for this to be cooked to order. The wings were actually very plump and juicy, with the perfect amount of breading for a delightful crunch. The boneless wings were cooked as they should be, not fried hard as usually the temp de jour. The chips were the main reason we drove past 2 grocery stores and 2 Goldfingers, because that's where they are!! Disappointment, as these paper thin morsels of yummy have a shelf life of about a minute. They had seen this landmark come and go, but it was the lack of seasoning that was unforgivable. If you're going to be cold, be tasty!! The fries also suffered from the same malady, but hot sauce added to dipping sauce after a re-heat on pizza stone at home made these meals ok. Walked in and dining room has trash all over the floors and tables. Kids behind the registers are cutting up. Finally place our order with Hannah. Go to get a drink and the machine is overflowing with ice into the floor. No signage. Then we realize the CO2 isn't putting out. Opt for tea. When I said something to "Hannah" all she could do is say "yeah a couple other people mentioned it- I dunno." She clearly didn't care. This seems to be the going trend.
