Had been wanting to try a Whataburger because after all what a burger! And I don't know if it's because it was in a little town instead of on a populated location, So they might have been understaffed or they are owned by a remote manager and nobody's really in charge.... Not quite sure what was up but here's the experience. When I came in there was a guy waiting for his food and nobody at the counter. I went up to look at the menu above the board to kind of decide what I wanted to have and I decided I wanted a spicy chicken sandwich.... So I go over to the kiosk cuz that's what seems like you're supposed to do to order since there were no people to be seen seem like there were people at the pickup window. Nobody greeted us, nobody said hey. It's easiest if you use the kiosk but happy to take your order in just a minute... Nothing. So we pull up chicken on the menu and all we see is bacon chicken sandwiches. I swipe up on the screen. Nothing happens. Look around for a way to scroll down. I press the screen and try to push it up. Nothing happens. So we're thinking the kiosk must be for the items that are not up on the main menu because there was nothing on the main menu above head that had anything to do with bacon. So we go over to the counter to wait for somebody to come and take our order. After several minutes, an adult comes to the counter, seems just a bit frizzled but nice and takes our order. The man that had been waiting for his order suggested onion rings so we got those. My husband got a regular burger and I ended up getting A grilled chicken sandwich. Don't like mayonnaise and all the sauce on the sandwiches. So all I had said to my husband was get it without mayonnaise as I went to the restroom. I come back Jim sitting at a table because we had taken a number.... Keep in mind there was only one other person inside the restaurant. When we came in. Some guy that had to order a pickup came in after gave our order and his order was ready quicker than ours but who knows when he had ordered it. And I suppose there were probably a couple of cars in the line for drive-thru. If some hamburger place is trying to make sure that people got the sandwiches the way they wanted them, they would have what sauces are on them. Whether it's for dietary reasons or just simple taste preferences, but there was nothing on the description in the menu above and then 'manager' That took our order. When my husband said no mayonnaise. Didn't say it comes with honey mustard sauce... So I used pretty much the stack of of napkins wiping off the sauce. And of course there was one little piece of lettuce. That was all wilted and shriveled up at this point and a couple of slices of tomato. All in all it was a decent chicken sandwich. But nothing. I want to rush back to Whataburger to get. My husband's hamburger was declared pretty much the same as everybody else when you think of McDonald's or Burger King. The onion rings were definitely the Frozen prepackaged kind. Although the good news is is they had a real onion slice inside. 30 minutes later we had our fast food and we're on the road to drive the 10 minutes to the lake and enjoy our meal with a good view. Price wise I would say everything's more expensive these days because of all of the rising costs at tributed by the current political Administration and their lack of understanding of how economics work. Can't tell at this point of ordering on the kiosk would have gotten it done any faster, we definitely would have had our order in faster. After we ordered and while we were waiting I played at the kiosk trying to figure out how to get it to scroll up and navigate it... And I guess there is a special spot you press in on the lower right side and hold your finger consistently on the screen to move it up. And then you can slide up the screen for those that actually want to go to a Whataburger and use the kiosk, now you know.

July 1st late night at 1:30am (technically July 2nd shift). It is goOooood. The board in the drive through was a little difficult to see and I wish it was angled a bit. If you are a passenger in the car, it makes it tricky to see. Just some feedback for marketing and operations. The gentleman that took our order and payment and brought it out to our car was professional, kind and we really appreciated his hospitality. The parking lot felt safe and everything was lit up. We were able to walk to the bin to throw away our take out. Chicken tenders were incredibly crispy and not too greasy. The pepper sauce and ranch were great - the size of the dipping containers were so great and also made the dining experience a better one. It elevates the experience. The onion rings were beer battered like - very crispy. The fries were good. Holy moly, the apple pie was absolutely delicious and HOT. It sweetened the deal and I will absolutely be back for this apple pie - I can only imagine how great it is with a fresh cup of coffee. Thank you to the staff. We look forward to returning and trying some of the items on the breakfast menu.

Employees are friendly, but you will never see the same face twice. (as most places on the Lake, they have trouble keeping help). Blizzards are always thick and loaded with the toppings. I'll have to try them again, where they are my first meal. I'm sure, that they will be crispier. Wings: They reheated nicely, and tasted pretty good. However, they were on the small side, and they skimped on the buffalo sauce. Don't think I'll be ordering these again.
