I found it weird that another lady serving food was wearing yoga shorts. They were playing music pretty loud. There was rap music with all the curse words. Personally it doesn't bother me but if you have young kids, I would not bring them. I'm not sure the vibe they are going for. It's Japanese food but rap music playing and yoga pants wearing workers. Didn't expect to walk into that but I'd go back again. Food was very good. I did not like how they do the bill. If you look at the bill it says there is a 12% surcharge. That "surcharge" is actually a tip. Then why not call it a tip? To me that's being very sneaky. Makes me wonder how many people have not realized that and then tipped on top of that? I did leave more tip because 12% is ridiculous. It should at least be 20% unless service was bad. I do think calling it a "service charge" is sneaky bad business.

Got a single scoop of their frozen vanilla custard after dinner on a Wednesday night. It's a solid frozen custard. It's flavorful and rich, although not completely smooth (a slight bummer). Service was quick and it's a pretty large scoop for a single scoop. Just under $4 too, which feels like a bargain these days. Nice quick treat for those warm southern nights!
