This is a reoccurring problem at this location. Order a fried cob salad and the will give you a house salad. This happened to me, 6/03/25 at about 7pm. Also ordered a chicken fajita. They gave me one with bacon. I am highly allergic to bacon. I always have to go in to order so I can check the food. It's a 50 percent chance they will get it right. I ordered a wings and things one time. Get home about 20 minutes away, and there is no chicken. Just fries and toast. The only time this location gets the food right is if Anatonia is working. The rest of the time, it's a pain in the ass. Sonic right next door closed up for the same poor service. I suspect this Zaxbys location probably hired those workers. read more

Yummy sandwiches! We had a pretty good experience here at Zaxby's. We were able to walk in and dine inside. Every other table/seating were blocked off to comply with social distancing guidelines. Employees and guests who walked in all wore masks. This was a fast food joint. When it was our turn to order at the counter we chose the Southern TLC Fillet Sandwich (for me) and Zaxby's Club Sandwich for the hubby. We picked up our order at the counter when our number was called. We couldn't tell which one was which at first and had to ask an employee. Once we figured that out we dug into our sammies. I enjoyed my fillet sandwich! Yum! It was delicious. It reminded me of a burger joint I once frequented when I was in high school and loved their chicken sandwich. The employee that took our order was patient and helpful while we were deciding on what to get and we appreciated that since it was our first time here... we don't have a Zaxby's in California. Zaxbys As a long time (Many years) customer of Zaxbys, 11608 Memorial Pkwy SW, Huntsville, AL 35803, going to the drive- through today to order my normal lunch meal, a grilled Cobb Salad & an Extra-Large ice water with extra ice. I was told that I could only have medium ice water. I told the person on the speaker to cancel my salad order. Just last week, I went to this same Zaxbys twice and ordered this same meal, with an Extra-Large ice water with extra ice. This may not sound like a big deal to some, but I am an office worker, I like to get away from a desk at lunchtime, go to drive- through at Zaxbys and order my normal meal to bring back to my desk. I have always enjoyed salads from there and then I have a nice big glass of water to enjoy the rest of the workday. It does not make sense to me for Zaxbys would not continue to provide an Extra-Large ice water with extra ice to a drive- through customer. This location does have competitor just across Redstone Road, I went to their competitor's a drive- through, ordered a salad & an Extra-Large ice water. They did not have any issues providing my order. I guess I now have a new lunch break plan. read more

My husband and I went to pick up food at 10:06 pm last night and the staff didn't even tell us they were closed, we had to drive to the window to get some rude kid to tell us they closed early. Used the drive through only to wait a solid 10 minutes for anyone to answer. While we waited we could hear the employees laughing and carrying on while ignoring us trying to get service. Love the Zensation Salads...when they're made according to the description. 03/30/23 visited for dinner. No dressing provided so we had to ask for the citrus dressing. Got the salads home and there was no eggroll, no Asian slaw, no teriyaki sauce and maybe the equivalent of two strips in the salad. Even the amount of lettuce was short. All this missing for an inflated price of $9.89 per salad. What a deal. We didn't go back THIS TIME because we're tired of having to remind them how to make their salads and serve their customers. Aren't they trained? Don't they have someone on shift to check the orders and keep these employees on track? We have experienced this more than a half dozen times at this store during the last couple of months and we're tired of having to drive back. When or IF we go back, we'll be taking the order out of the sack and checking it at the counter since they can't seem to do their jobs right. And whoever is in the back, rolling their eyes and making huffing noises, we see and hear you. Slim Chickens is across the street btw. Guess we'll be deciding between them or Zaxby's the next time we want chicken/salads. (Slim's mushrooms are much better anyway.) I'm guessing from other reviews this is probably a top down issue. The drive through attendant was smoking marijuana in her car beside the line on her smoke break. I don't care; HOWEVER by the time I got to the window she had to ask me twice if she gave me my food while it was right in front of her. She also forgot to give me my card so I had to drive all the way back and THEN she blamed me for forgetting it. My food was cold by the time I got home. read more

I came here with a friend to use her gift card. A gift card is the only time I would probably pay for Zaxby's. Overall, the food is mediocre and not worth the price you pay for it. This location is always hit and miss. It truly depends on the GM at the time. They have a high turnover for managers. It looks like right now , they have it together. They didn't have carbonation tonight for drinks, but they did have some options in cans. The staff was friendly and the food was fresh. Store is a little dirty, needs some good elbow grease put into it. The entryway is dirty and the counters have streak marks like the towel was too wet when they wiped it down. The two star rating suprised me for this Zaxby's. My wife and I eat at Zaxby's almost once a week for lunch. This is our favorite and we have only had an issue once and that was with cool fries. I went to this Zaxby's last Sunday(March 31), and had a take out order, and when I got where I was going to eat, 2 of the boxes of food had large holes in them that looked like a rat had chewed on. Next, the fries were only seasoned on one side with no seasoning on the other sides, and there wasn't any seasoning on the fries underneath the top layer. Use to be my go to place. Wings now seem microwaved. Have actually had wings that were cooked, but were cold. Sauce is just poured over the wings, and sometimes it just a big mess with the sauce getting all over the fries. Fingers used to be outstanding, hot, tender. Now they are plain, hard, and not any better than microwaved at home. They use to sell a small salad, they did away with that. It was one of the favorites, because the regular zalad is to much for a child. Have actually been there on a week day evening and they had run out of salad. Usually when I went, I would order 3 dinners to take home for the family. Can't tell you how many times they did not have drink carriers. Drink carriers for crying out loud.
