The customer service is horrible; there are too many other restaurants in the area. I didn't get an opportunity to try the food because I couldn't get past the wrong service. I did see the lady at the window holding my cup in her hand with her fingers inside my cup while holding her cell phone. I was over it. This is by far the worst restaurant in Killeen. I dash with Door Dash. Everytime I pick up the employees stand and look at like what are you doing here. They look at people standing at the counter waiting to order. Normally I love the FOOD at Zaxbys, but I went in today and no one in the back was wearing their masks properly. They were on their chin and/or completely off altogether. I took pictures to send to corporate because that's unacceptable and disgusting. I do NOT want people breathing over my already cooked food in a pandemic. read more

We ate here the day after Christmas. We were early around 11:30. The restaurant was not busy. This was our first time here and we told the cashier that and she offered no suggestions, no sauces, no mention of the app and she automatically assumed we both wanted combos. We paid for our food and she hands us both cups with no ice.....it was very clear the dining room was out of ice! My boneless wings were cold, not crispy and they tasted like they were made hours before!! We had to go back to the front and pay 25 cents for the sauces that we wanted to try. I will not be back!! I am not really into fried food but I am here to tell you there salads are slamming ,especially the blue salad.

Today was the LAST day I will EVER eat at the KILLEEN Zaxby's. I ordered a Fried chicken Cobb salad with 1000 dressing online and have been doing such since the onset of Covid-19 at least once a week. I work on Fort Hood which from my office to Zaxby's is a total of 12 miles there and back. When I returned to my office I had NO CHICKEN on my salad. I immediately called and let them know if the mistake which the young lady on phone told me I could either bring salad back for a replacement salad or have my name put on list to come later. I gave her my name which then she tells me I would have to bring the salad back when I returned which is were I truly get offended, disgusted and quite frankly more than a little angry. It was my lunch time. What was I to eat if I didn' t Drive the 12 miles again? So I say "I'm coming back out" Now what should have happened in my customer service and YES I am retired Army Soldier who still believes in customer service. I should have received a FREE salad along with my money back. But what truly happened... The manager told me "that is the policy" we have to have the food back and ma'am we cannot give you anything for your trouble.... WOW...really... I normally don't leave restaurant reviews but I'm literally still irritated from last week when I went. I had a mobile order, waited in drive thru for 10-12 mins it was rush hour so I was fine about it. I added cheddar bites in drive through. Lady told me to pull up to the rail for my order, the girl only gave me my cheddar bites and said nothing about my mobile order. I was there for about 15-20 mins. So I went inside, and my food was sitting on the counter. Lack of communication within the team. Went home and it was the soggiest sandwhich I ever had in my life!!!! They suckkkk!!!!! read more

Always exceptional service and great fresh food!! I always get the four finger meal. I love their honey mustard and Zax sauce. If it's a fast food night we almost always choose Zaxby's! Waited 45 minutes for my order number and it was never called. Had to go up to the employees and ask. They had no idea. Showed them my receipt then proceeded to wait another 15 minutes. This place just opened this past Monday. The line has been super long but that's expected as most people I. This are like to try new restaurants when they open. We waited about 45 minutes for our food which we anticipated. I think as they are open longer the wait times will start to decrease. Overall my food was good. The fries were well seasoned and my chicken strips were nice and hot and tasted good. They did mess up the order slightly by forgetting the honey mustard sauces we ordered and paid for. Aside from that, it was in point. The server even replaced my cup after she saw that my lid wasn't fitting we'll because my baby grabbed my cup and bent it. I have gone through their drive-thru twice about a month apart. Never again. First time I ordered a chicken finger sandwich they did not slice the sandwich through all the way. I didn't realize and when I picked up my sandwich to take a bite half of my sandwich went everywhere. The second time I ordered the club along with their tater chips. The chips are good, a little too much salt but still good. They put fries in the box too. I didn't eat them but I don't care for their fries. The sandwich. Most of it went into the trash. It was very soggy and the sandwich had almost no flavor. I looked inside and the only piece of bacon I found was 1/4 inch wide and about 1 1/2 inch long. That was it. I looked for the cheese but couldn't find any. Never again. I would have gotten a better meal with a McDonalds cheeseburger. read more

It reminds me of Chic-Fil-A but with less breading on the chicken. The chicken club wasn't bad, the chicken wasn't dry at all. But the club had to much mayo on it so you tasted mostly may rather then chicken or the other ingredients on the club. read more

Not sure the deal with the drive thru... some chick out there taking all day (strike 1). Walked in, nice inside, customer service was good, tea was too sweet; but i cut it with unsweet it was ok then, reasonable wait for my Cajun Chicken sammich, asked for some ranch and she said something like 75 cent...dont like places that charge for condiments, specially that much...(strike 2). Went back outside, the car that was second in line (i was 4th orginially) was just getting their order taken.... mind u, I pulled in, read the entire menu (never been there before), ordered, made my drink, got my food and walked out... and just on the second car... there was a super long line at the drive thru now.... I yelled to the folk with their windows down that is was faster to go in.... now I was blocked in due to the slow drive thru (strike 3). Zaxbys has a chance to recover a strike, based on food taste and quality.... well, STRIKE 4. Sammich looked really old, it was greasy (not breaded, grilled I suppose, not sure though), the tomatoes were nice, lettuce looked like it went clubbing last night. The chicken breast was way too salty, and its consistency was nasty...soft and mushyish couldn't finish it.. that bad. The fries were luke warm, and mushy as well. I do not think I will find myself there again... disappointing because folk talked it up pretty good. read more
