Her side salad, was a small plate with a few lettuce leaves, cut tomatoes, hard boiled egg and lots of croutons for filler. Me? I chose the Swiss mushroom burger. Kudos here. Hot, juicy, and tasty. The "ding"? When food is freshly cooked, there's simply no excuse for lukewarm fries served with a hot burger. The taco salad, ordered by my son in law, was, as he put it, "off". I ordered the "Cinnabon Centers" because, like any reasonable human, I assumed this meant the soft, gooey, scientifically superior middle of the cinnamon roll. You know. The part we all fight over. The reason siblings stop speaking. The reason forks were invented. What I received instead? A cup of what can only be described as cinnamon roll edges. EDGES. The dry-ish outer spiral that society has collectively agreed is the supporting actor, not the star. Calling these "Centers" feels legally questionable. I expected elite, melt-in-your-mouth, fork-sinks-without-resistance goodness. What I got was the cinnamon roll's crust wearing a disguise. Were they bad? No. Were they centers? Also no.
