I was running errands and i desperately needed to eat something for lunch. Curritos for the win! The Tikka Masala was delicious. I added chicken and steak as the protein. Fast friendly service whether you are dining in or picking up. The ambiance is very calm and pleasant. If I still worked in that area, I would definitely eat here more. My phone didn't eat first this time lol

Great variety of bowls and wraps or you can create your own. Very filling. I could only eat 1/2 my bowl but finished it the following day.

    Carolina bowl. Ain't nuthin' finer.

My family and I stumbled upon Currito while we were in the area, and boy, am I glad we did. From the sweet smoothies to the savory main dishes, Currito provided a wonderful experience for us all. The ordering process is simple and much like that of Chipotle or Qdoba: you either get a pre created meal or you make your own. All of the ingredients set out looked fresh and appetizing. While we were in line, my wife asked the man in front of us what he was getting. He replied that he was getting the Carolina bowl, and strongly recommended it to us as well. I ended up getting that same bowl while my wife got the Bangkok bowl, my son got the Bangkok in its wrap form, my daughter got the Tikka wrap with a Strawbana smoothie, and we all shared an order of chips and salsa. While the name may suggest otherwise, I believe the best thing Currito has to offer would be their bowls. Each flavor is unique and delectable. Their wraps are nothing to sneeze at, though. All of the main dishes we ordered tasted great. As for the other foods, I was pleasantly surprised. The smoothie was perfectly blended and sweet. The chips were warm and salty. The salsa was decent, but not as exceptional as the other items. Keep in mind that this place isn't cheap. Even with two separate coupons from our Cashbook, (strongly recommend this coupon book, by the way) we were paying over 40 dollars for lunch. All in all, Currito is a restaurant with steep prices but food that makes the investment well worth it. I recommend trying Currito any time you find yourself in the St. Matthew's area. You won't be disappointed.

We had a great first visit! Both my husband and I got bowls. The size of the bowl was a reasonable price plus included a protein. I opted for the harvest grain bowl and the team was so accommodating, allowing me to remove the sweet potatoes and add on edamame and feta cheese. My husband chose the spicy thai greens bowl. We both added the combo, his with chips/salsa and mine with guacamole. Combos come with drinks too. We loved our bowls! I wasn't as crazy about his dressing but the house vinaigrette is delicious and enhances each item in the bowl. They willingly gave us extra dressing on the side. The restaurant offers a variety of seating options and it was kept clean by the team. Behind their counter the trays of topping also looked fresh and bright. Clean bathrooms as well. Plenty of parking in the shared lot. Looking forward to coming back and appreciated the friendly care of the manager and team.

So we tried this place and hands down and the food was healthy, so fresh and delicious. Service was fast and easy to order. We went twice lol and both nights there was not many people and the atmosphere was pleasant and very relaxed. We definitely are gonna try every bowl in that place lol

Incredible food, tons of options. I had the buffalo chicken bowl and it was delicious. A great place to eat healthy with all kinds of amazing flavors. The house made lemon herb ranch is fantastic. I could put it on everything :)

I've been looking forward to Currito opening ever since seeing the sign first go up. And this week, I got to finally check it out. Currito specializes in grain bowls, wraps and salads. There are several options on a large board to order from, and then the employees make it right in front of you. I ordered the Bangkok Bowl, after the clerk recommended it. This is made with Asian cabbage, cilantro lime rice, cucumber, shredded carrots, slivered almonds, Thai-style peanut sauce, spicy cashew vinaigrette and sesame seeds. It was ready within minutes. And my bowl was full of fresh ingredients. I loved how all the flavors worked together. Plus this was filling! It looks like Currito will soon have online ordering as well. This will be such a clutch quick, healthy option whenever in the area.

This was our first time going to Currito and I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't sure how it was going to taste but I must say, they now have 2 new happy and satisfied customers. It says it's a Mexican restaurant but I would compare it more to something like Core Life. I got the Harvest grain bowl abd my husband got the Summer grain bowl. We made it a combo and got chips ans a drink with it. Theres a choice of hummus, salsa, or guacamole to go with the tasty chips! believe you can get the bowls as wraps also. There are a variety of other bowls and also different salads. There's a few desserts and the giant chocolate chip cookie looked delicious! They also have a Nutella milkshake that sounds incredible. I'll definitely be going back and hopefully trying the milkshake next time!

I have tried Currito a couple of times now and it is fantastic! Everything is so fresh and delicious. I love the Bangkok Bowl which is Thai inspired but based on my visits I'd bet everything is wonderful. Everything in the bowls goes together so well to create an awesome blend of flavors id recommend to try them exactly how they're made! I also tried the chips and guacamole today and that was awesome as well the chips were so fresh and crispy and the guacamole was chunky and perfectly seasoned. I can't wait to try more things from Currito!

The short rib and seafood special were top entrees, and the churro sundae was the best dessert (plus the cold brew ice cream omg). The cauliflower was an awesome starter and we devoured it. The bourbon beet cocktail was unique and a stunner. I could have drank 4 of them, they were so impressive. Intimate room, excellent menu, top notch service!…read more The room is dark, surprisingly intimate for as open as it is. Low ceilings and servers clad in black add to the effect of a candle-lit cask of a restaurant. The smells wafting from the kitchen immediately get your appetite revving if it wasn't already in gear. Out host, Mary, sat our party quickly and the server came right away to fill waters and take drink orders. The menu is short but superb. Everything has a Mediterranean flair that should make you expect savory mess and spice. Prices are in the $40-60 range for entrees but worth it! Parking is free in the lot and a QR code on the menu gives you access to enter your info including plate number. It's a nice feature for an area where spots are limited.

I was hosting a business dinner in Louisville last week and wanted to try someplace new. I scanned…read morethe list of James Beard 2025 semifinalists and focused on two spots: MeeshMeesh and The Fat Lamb. MeeshMeesh is wildly popular and books out 60 days in advance, so that wasn't happening--but I was able to secure a timely reservation at The Fat Lamb. That turned out to be a great decision. It was a pleasure meeting Dallas McGarity, the executive chef and owner. He shared that the restaurant has been open for about ten years and that he's preparing to open a new Italian concept. When the topic of his James Beard nomination came up, he mentioned it was a complete surprise--the restaurant didn't self-nominate--which made the recognition feel even more meaningful. One thing I neglected to ask him directly was why lamb plays such a central role on the menu. Our server wasn't entirely sure either, but she did explain how the restaurant got its name. Apparently, Dallas was traveling through the countryside, spotted a particularly memorable "fat lamb" on a farm, and the name stuck. Sometimes it really is that simple. With four of us dining, we may have gone a bit overboard on starters--but no regrets. We shared the roasted Brussels sprouts, lamb kofta meatballs, fontina and truffle arancini, and the whipped feta and pita. Every dish was well-executed and easy to share, which made them ideal for a business dinner. For entrées, my wife and I split the signature tandoori and ancho spice-roasted lamb chops. They were flavorful without being heavy, and the black barbecue sauce added a nice depth. Our server highly recommended the Moroccan-spiced halibut, which our other guests shared and thoroughly enjoyed--especially the mushroom demi-glace. Dessert was the Nutella mousse, another house signature. The Italian cherries and chocolate shavings were a great finishing touch without pushing things into overly sweet territory. Beyond the food, what really stood out was the service and pacing. The evening flowed naturally--never rushed, never dragging--which is exactly what you want when entertaining clients or colleagues. The Fat Lamb delivered a memorable, well-rounded dining experience and easily earned its reputation. I'd happily return, whether for business or just a great night out.

Now Understand Im lived here most of my life and have worked iin several industries including the food service one, I must say after living thru 2 hurricanes in Florida, (Matthew,Irma) I had never personally heard or experienced anything of the sorts....again thank you....and I must admit i haven't eaten at your place before or after....but that's not because of your service or food, but the intent to is there....as i write this Cant help but say thank you again.....now as I found this out thru the next door neighbor, they told me that they were about to place a order, and my daughter had ran my phone down so they said we will just let em know you are ordering with us....I am still feeling somewhat lost to the idea of what Im hearing but we order.....I really was needing a cold drink and got something for my lil one think it was a grilled cheese, and i got a taco salad.....we finished the order and was told it maybe some time but they would be there.....that they were filling a lot of orders for my community just be patient.....it was about a hour and a half after the order was placed but that's not important as they were already taking care of the others in my community that i noticed as early as 6:30 7ish pm.....then the call came in telling us that our order was in route i say about 9ish or so......and to please meet the driver outside to help process the orders little quicker... and within 5 min thats what was happening as they arrived just as the fire department was stopping in to inform and check on the members of my Community so it was awesome lick the light leading the way thanks to the fire dept as well told us to stay in place....but here is Pucketts and the food, to say I was emotional would be a understatement.....and i know me and my lil girl didn't worry about eating the remander of what was a very long and sleepless night....i just want to sat that ill never not think about the care exhibited by a family owned business called Puckett's whenever my power goes out from a storm ,or when i think about a taco salad..... as it was a true hero moment for so many of us ...And if the care for others isnt enough to show you they strive to provide the best results in all aspects of their operation then you are not interested in a great experience but addicted to the heartless fast food industry that wants to charge you for the sauce that should come with the meal.....Give Puckett's A look and taste and see heros at work!! ps they were delivering food till around 12am the 3rdf from what I observed for free....sorry mcd's is closing the window at closing no matter the what is happening, and without that receipts you be a paying no offence, just sayin Thanks again and i hope this review is rewarding in someway as the cold Dr.Pepper/Taco Salad ,Grilled Cheese was for Me and My Daughter!!

While visiting Louisville for a class reunion, a group of us wanted to go out for a nice dinner…read more One of them suggested Malones. At first I wasn't sure what to expect as there are two establishments at one location. I was very pleasantly surprised walking into Malone's. The interior is darker and reminiscent of a New York steakhouse with the booths, decor and lighting. Unable to decide what to order, I opted for the filet and crab rangoon roll which was an excellent choice. The steak. cooked to perfection, was tender and juicy. The crab rangoon roll was a crab and cream cheese blend wrapped in seaweed and deep fried. It was out of this world. Our waiter and his assistant provided exemplary service making it the perfect evening. If my travels bring me back to Kentucky, I will definitely seek them out.

We've been eating at Malone's for many many years. Made special trips to Lexington regularly…read morebefore the Louisville location opened and have since eat at the Louisville location dozens of times. I've had some really good meals here and I've had some really bad meals here. As of the last year or so, the meals are more often bad than not. Especially once you factor in the price tag. I will say, our last several visits have been on a Sunday afternoon; not sure if that plays a factor in our experience or not. The some beach cocktail was awful and tasted like straight cheap coconut rum (I've had it before and it was quite good). The tempura vegetables chef feature appetizer was missing the sweet potatoes and pickled carrots advertised, the tempura breading didn't stick to the vegetables hardly at all, the broccoli pieces were so large they had to be cut up before they could be eaten, and the lotus root was way too thick. The server was oblivious about the chef's features. Made comment about it several times and was confused when I ordered some of the chef's features. If it's new, I get it, but would recommend he take a few minutes to familiarize himself. The seared spinalis I ordered cooked medium came out well done, end pieces were burnt to a crisp and tough. My wife ordered a well done New York strip that came out medium at best and the whipped potatoes were SWIMMING in butter. The potatoes may be as the Chef wanted them to be, I'm not sure, but if so, I don't know why anyone would want this. By the time you stir in all that extra butter you have very thin greasy potatoes bordering on potato soup. The server did offer to re-fire my steak and have my wife's cooked more to which we declined. I'm not a fan of doing that, especially cooking a stake more the second time because the outside becomes too done/burnt and the inside becomes dry. At this price point, she should have been offered a fresh steak in my opinion. The manager came by later and offered again, to which my Wife gave in and let her have it brought up to temp. To no one's surprise, it came back with the outside burnt to a crisp and the rest dry and tough (Even more so than well done already is. I recognize that well done steaks are tough/dry in general but she has been eating them here for years and brags about how they still manage to get it tender and juicy from her perspective). She also made mention that the herbed butter that comes with the bread wasn't very flavorful and nowhere near as good as normal and that we should have taken that as a sign. The server ended up comping my steak, which I appreciate. In all fairness, they made an effort to make it right. I feel like they could have done a bit more, especially with her steak but I'm not really upset about the service/response. It's just that the last several visits have been very sub par for the price point and from the quality I know Malones is capable of providing.
