I've only done drive-through at this location, but their customer service was excellent. It's a very busy place, and I'm glad that they have such constant business. For the ones I visited that I went inside, everything was clean and neat with decent lighting. I admit, I have ordered off the children's menu before, and the grilled cheese is really good. While the chicken strips and french fries are great, as well as the Texas toast, I'm not a huge fan of the spices they use versus other places that I like better. read more

I have been a 3-4 times a week customer, mainly coming early afternoon. The drive thru staff "Excellent" consistent for the past year or so... On the other hand, almost "every visit' that we have made in the evening hours, have been consistently horrible. First few times, we got wrong or especially dried out wings and burnt toast. And yes, I did contact management on both occasions. So we started going in. Last visit 5/8/2026 9pm We had to wait a while before anyone acknowledge us, we could see that this wasn't going to go well (again). We placed order, asked that everything be prepared fresh because of previous problems especially with traditional wings. Order took a while to come out, wings looked as if they were refried, fries were very dark and extremely hard. I went to register to ask to have the fries redone, as it was late and I just at this point wanted something quick, but edible. Zach Henry was the "employee" that I unfortunately, had to deal with. The amount of "disrespect and rookie interrogation" coming from him, was ridiculous/uncalled for. To the point that, my husband got up from the table and just asked for a refund. I usually do not go on these websites to do reviews, but since its almost impossible to speak with someone with authority at the location, I decided to go this route , as I was not happy. It's obvious that he needs to take a few classes in "Customer Service " focusing on "greetings and complaints" And maybe better management for the evening hours. If they are trying to get cleaned up and out of the door by 10:00 then maybe, the closing hours should be 9pm. read more

I ordered an Asian salad and it was not edible. I got a burnt eggroll, the lettuce was wilted, and it actually looked like it was tampered with. I paid $13 for that salad. Very disappointing. I think a refund would be fair. read more

I wish zero was an option. I was excited when I found out that one of my favorite chains was opening closer to me than the ones I had visited previous, but sadly this chain is not up to par, out of the several times I have visited, I have not only encountered poorly trained staff, but I have also been given meager portions. A large fry should be a full box, not 17 (I counted) fry scraps. The first time this happened, I assumed that it was just a fluke, but it has since become the norm for this location. There is no fast food like Zaxbys besides another Zaxbys. Sometimes on my cheat day after a workout I go and get portions large enough for two people. With the unique flavor of the Zax sauce and the seasoning on the fries it helps end my craving for certain foods for a few days. read more

Went through the drive thru. I have never had a great experience at this location...It has been about a year, since the last underwhelming experience, so thought I would try again. Another FAIL- fries were cold, dark brown(obviously old and fried a couple/few times too many). The whole container(what little was in there), were the small, crusty, burnt bits that no one really wants or eats. Plus, just as I remember from the year before, there were barely any in the container. It is like they are trying to save money by not throwing out the old disgusting fries that no one eats, anyways. This is why I had an issue with the West Cobb Dallas Highway Zaxby's before, and avoided this location. They ALWAYS gave me old, over fried(super greasy!), dark brown, dried up yucky fries! In 99% of the other locations visited, I have not ever had an issue with this happening. However, what is even worse, while at red-light, I looked down at the bag and at top of salad, sitting on a piece of cucumber, I also saw a very dark, short, black hair in my zalad. It was big enough that you noticed it even with the clear plastic cover on top. Luckily, I had not eaten any of it yet, but had already driven 10 minutes away from the Zaxbys, in work traffic. Being irate that this was not the first bad experience with the west cobb dallas highway zaxby's location, I drove ALL the way back(was quite hungry and not in mood to go home and throw a salad out, plus the money paid). Also, I had ordered two nibblers for my son, but they seemed okay, when I peeked in the wrappers just to check. When I came back through drive thru, and explained my disappointment at finding this nastiness, the blonde girl said she was sorry, then went and got her manager without my asking(that was a good). I assumed the manager would go above and beyond, after I explained this was not my first let down at his Zaxby west cobb location. He said he was, 'sorry', too and asked if I would rather have another salad made or my money back for only the salad and fries. Told the manager that refunding the money is okay, but for my troubles, perhaps he could refund the whole purchase(it was only a few dollars more but would have made the situation a look a little better, at least that he was trying to make up for my trouble). He then said he would refund the fries and salad, like he did not hear me. Okay, that is fine....But seriously, that is all you are going to do?? Someone comes all the way back, goes through traffic, makes a U-turn, waits in a few red lights and uses gas(being grossed out at a hair in food, almost ruins appetite, too) and you are not even going to offer to refund the whole order for my trouble, OR at least offer a coupon or something??? Even, after I explained this had NOT been my 1st bad experience at his store. I mean, that is POOR customer service, imo. Before I drove away, disappointed at his lack of effort to make it right, he then said, 'hope you come back and give us another chance' and counted out the EXACT change from salad and fries refund. Food was ok, the fries were cold, yes cold....but this place was nasty. About every table was dirty ann the beverage area was gross. We were one of only two sets of people here. Three employees just hanging out. What I would tell my employees "got time to lean, got time to clean". I have been in a handful of Zaxby's around Atlanta. The foods taste different in every one of them. The only consistent element is that the chicken and fries are fried too long. The menu is expensive for the amount and quality of what I have received. Today my kids ate less than a third of what they ordered. My wife tried their chicken tenders and fries and could see why they didn't eat more. I cannot see us going to any Zaxby's for a long, long time. read more
