I ordered food for delivery via Uber eats. It was late at night, but I was hopeful that the food would be fresh and it totally was! They were doing a buy one get one free, five piece, chicken, tender, so I did that, then added a side of french fries and a side of Texas toast. Everything was piping hot and very fresh and delicious. I have to say, the chicken was amazing compared to other chain restaurants on the West Coast, where I'm from. I tried a couple different dipping sauces and none of them. Disappointed, my favorite was the sweet and spicy sauce. The Texas toast had the perfect amount of butter, and I love the seasoning on the french fries. Sadly didn't get to go in person so I wasn't exposed to the service or ambience of the restaurant, but the food was amazing. It's really good for fast food! read more

I haven't been to a Zaxby's in years. The chicken was really good. I wish they had like a little different of a sauce option and the only one I really liked was teriyaki but it just feels weird eating that with chicken tenders. The fries were good but very overseasoned. The people in there were nice when I told them that the soda machine wasn't working, she basically said have a good night so it would be nice if we actually were able to get a drink and not have it just be soda water. Honestly, I'm fairly surprised at how low the store is rated. I don't think Zaxby's is as good and fresh as it was when it first opened years ago, but it is still a solid meal. This place was packed when I came in on a Sunday afternoon, but the employees were attentive, friendly, and did a good job moving everyone through the line. I always go with the wings and things, it's a very big meal! Their new lemon pepper dry rub wings are solid. If you want some, Zaxby's, don't be afraid to give this place a shot. read more

I ordered online and got a chicken finger meal with slaw and a large fries. Here's what went wrong with this meal- no Cole slaw. Guess they can't read a ticket. I got like 6 French fries and I ordered a large. No straws with my drinks. One freaking sauce to eat all of my chicken with. The bread they offer as a "side" which is what I got instead of coleslaw, is disgusting. I mean really... who wants a half assed toasted piece of plain bread with their meal. There isn't even anything to sop up. Gross. I called to complain and the person who answered hung up on me. Great job zaxby's. I will never eat here again. Do better guys, seriously. read more

I am beyond disgusted. We order a 10 piece chicken tenders for our kids and upon opening the container when we arrived home, I discovered a dead ROACH on top of the chicken. I called to inform them of this and while they offered to refund me, they refused to do so over the phone and claimed it had to be done in person, even though I had the receipt transaction number and it could easily be voided. Horrible service!! I stopped in at the drive-thru and waited behind a vehicle for a little, I was second in line. After the vehicle pulled up I pulled up the order and the woman said "I will be right with you". Four minutes later and nobody coming back to take my order I drove off. I watched the vehicle in front of me earlier leave and 4 other vehicles waiting behind me. My question is "What happened to Zaxbys," service is bad. I don't think I will go to Zaxbys anymore after this because it's a common theme at the other ones I have went to also. This just happened to be the worst. read more

Been here probably 4 or 5 times over the last year as my wife likes one of their sandwiches quite a bit. I'm giving this location two stars because some of what's done here is good, but more is not so good. The good...they have one of those terrific Coke fountain thingamajigs that has like 50 soda choices. It's killer! If you like soda, like sometimes I definitely do, this machine will blow your hair back. Also good is wait time to get your order. It's never been too long. The bad...the lobby is quite often neglected by employees and many, many tables often need clearing and wiped down. Additionally, there's always French fries and straw wrappers and other crud on the floor that also needs picked up. This location just never gives you an impression that cleanliness is important. I fear what the bathrooms look like. I won't use them...I wash up before arriving. My wife brought home to me the worst chicken sandwich I can ever remember one rainy night, so I won't be forgetting that soon. It was soooooo dry and over fried. Yuck. Finally, their ice machine seems to be acting up a lot of the time as well. Drive thru gets really busy with tourist traffic...or people are smarter than me and know it's best to avoid going inside. read more

Person speaking was rude and there was no reason to close. We were clearly waiting in line so should have been served. I loveeee Zaxby's and I've been visiting this location for years but my visit this past week was disappointing. The drive thru line was wrapped around the building almost twice. I was patient however, and I received my favorite order: the kickin chicken sandwich with fries. I decided to come here because I've heard the wings are good. I ordered 10 wings with wimpy sauce, sweet tea, and my husband had a chicken sandwich. First off, they gave me all drummet pieces. However, I prefer flats and was disappointed that they didn't give me any. They smelled good driving back to my airbnb and couldn't wait to try them. However, I immediately noticed that the wings aren't seasoned after my very first bite. Obviously, they're just fried with some sauce on them, nothing special at all. Unfortunately, I really wasn't that impressed with Zaxby's because, my chicken was kinda dry. I did kinda like the wimpy sauce because I really don't do spicy foods so, their mild sauce was perfect for me. My husband said that his chicken sandwich was just, alright. This is the absolute worst location I have ever been to. The lady in drive thru came on the speaker with an attitude. We've waited 20 mins for food to be replaced from the previous night. This was my 1st time at any zaxby's location. I had heard about it but did not know what to expect. I saw there were mostly fried options and the only option for grilled chicken was the salad. Since this was the 1st time getting food here, I decided to try what they're known for. I have to say it did not disappoint. FIRST of all the food was hot (temperature) and that's something you just rarely get with fast food. Then it was tasty. The tenders were juicy and the wings were tasty. Fries were crispy. I really enjoyed this meal. I will definitely go back here and will get the fried food LOL read more

VERY VERY SLOW. i sat at the drive through line for almost 20 mins before someone came onto the speaker for the person in front of me

District Manager was very rude not just to me but also to the sweet kid that was trying to help us get drinks. Not only did we sit in line for 45 mins, when I got up to order, I was told to hold for a min, 8 more mins went by and I said "hi" and I was told that she needed another minute, rudely. I said Ok and continued to wait for the another 4 mins. When I finally got to order my food, she rushed me through it and talk down to me like I was an idiot when I ordered Peach Tea that was advertised. A simple, we don't have that would have been fine. I was told when I ordered that it will be a while longer for my food. The line in front of me had cleared out already. When I got to the window, the nice boy getting our drinks was very pleasant. She told him direct me to park because my order will take longer. (I had 3 combos - 2 chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders - nothing special). He tried to say something and she cut him off and his face went to frown. He politely asked me to pull over to another spot. No one but my family had to pull into a spot. Several cars continued to pull out of the line. I got in Line at 1:26 Ordered at 2:18 Received food at 2:37 I get the lack of associates but I was very polite the entire time and complemented Carlos. The only reason this gets a 4 is because at both locations we went to we had an issue with attitude from the staff, or the staff forgot something for our meals. However the food, was phenomenal. This makes all other competitors seem terrible. The chicken is amazing, just tastes fresh and authentic, there are healthy and unhealthy options. You can have your chicken grilled or fried. The coleslaw was fire. Definitely recommend for a quick food spot when you're in the south! read more

I get that restaurants are suffering with COVID and the dining room restrictions and Zaxby's used to be my favorite place for chicken; my whole family absolutely loved the Zax sauce. However, the last THREE times I have gone to this Zaxby's, they have been closed early. This was anywhere from 30 minutes to an HOUR before they were scheduled to close. I understood the first time as we only saw one vehicle in the parking lot. The second time I was too angry to notice cars, but this last time is the final straw, as we saw three parked vehicles in the lot and since the dining room is closed, that means there were a minimum of 3 employees in the restaurant and it was 9:10pm--a full 50 minutes before closing. Ryan said it best. Used the on line order for pick up. Waited 15 minutes for the "no wait" line. No one acknowledged us at the pick up area, so we had to get on the regular line. The food was not ready, the order was wrong, the sauces were not what we ordered and how does Zaxby's run out of Bleu Cheese dressing ? Can't say I would recommend this location. I came here the first time today and I decided to go to the drive-through. If you've never been to this restaurant on for the drive there was not a good idea. The drive through menu board has so much information on it it's virtually impossible to make a decision. I end up just ordering one of the chicken finger meal and some onion rings. The lady who was at the drive-through must've been having a bad day because she was irritated by my cars engine noise and the fact that I was asking for a drink holder. The employee that assisted us, Patti G, was very rude. She charged us for a lemon dasani, bottled water, but gave us a fountain water. My husband went through the day before and got the same meal with a fountain water and was not charged for it. When we asked to speak with a manager because we felt we were being mistreated we were dismissed in a rude manner and told that she was the manager, even though we know the head manager was standing behind her. We do not appreciate such inconsistencies with pricing and the rude manner in which we were dismissed when we brought it to the supposed managers attention. For those of you from the north or anywhere else that doesn't have Zaxbys, it is a fast food joint. Chicken tenders, wings, and boneless wings are the focus here, and my god do they do it right. It's hard to sell excitement about fast food, but when you don't have something, it makes you appreciate it more. Zaxbys also has like 10 different sauces for your chicken - try the nuclear or xx-hot buffalo sauces if you dare, and that's coming from a guy that likes spicy food.
