first time coming here. the restaurant looks nice and clean. i ordered the kickin sandwich for my first meal and i was very disappointed the sandwich was very salty and my brother got the chicken salad and i tasted his and it was the same very salty. for some reason the cooks might be mad today and just doesn't know how to hold back on the salt. i still prefer chick fila i think thats how you spell. lol read more

My coworker invited me to accompany her to lunch last week here. Although I did not order (I don't really eat fast food), I tasted a couple of fries and her buffalo chicken salad... and I must say, it was pretty good considering this is a fast food establishment. I was pleasantly surprised. The manager was pleasant, funny and helpful. While at the table, we were asked a couple of times if we were okay and if we needed anything. Definitely a plus! The place was clean and we did not wait long for the order. If you like eating fast food and is a fan of chicken, I definitely recommend this place. read more

This Zaxbys has only been open about a year and the food is horrible. It taste nothing like Zaxbys. The chicken is overcooked. The fries do not have Zaxbys signature red pepper. The food shows no care and same as the staff. It sucks that we love Zaxbys and this one misses the mark altogether. read more

I tried this for the first time because everyone is always ranting about how great it is. I'm not from the south and had never been here before so I thought I'd give it a shot. I got wings and chicken fingers..... I took one bite of the wings...and then one bite of the chicken fingers. Then I threw it all away. If you want to hate yourself and life then I suggest eating here daily. If you want to enjoy the food you eat I would suggest going almost anywhere other then here. I drive by this armpit of the earth everyday and think "why me god? Why me?" but what's done is done. I have one star because I like the food, the other four stars are missing for the great experience we never seem to have here. We have been numerous times, say we are not going back and then come again because we are gluttons for punishment. The staff is often short with us and unfriendly. The restaurant is a mess with trash overflowing and disaster drink area and worst of all it regularly takes 15-20 minutes to receive your meal. This is not a fast food restaurant. My husband LOVES this place. When I first went I was not a fan because I don't like chicken fingers that much. Then I discovered their grill chicken zalad and I was hooked. And yes they are called zalads not salads. I also love their drink machine. So many choices. Where else can you get diet vanilla root beer? I mean seriously folks. read more

Garbage. Simply terrible. The staff are rude, and the food is mediocre at best. At 1230 the soda machine was empty. When we asked the staff to change it, they said to just push the button harder. They gave our food to other customers, then after it was returned, tried to give it to us. Disgusting. Don't waste your time. Go to McDonald's across the street. At least if they mess up it won't cost you $30. read more

8/19/2020 around 4:45pm. I just left this restaurant; it used to be one of my favorites but not anymore. I tried placing an order on the drive thru. The shift manager as well as other employees were so loud that I could hear their conversation through the speaker, even the inappropriate words they were using. I nicely asked the young girl taking my order to please ask them to lower their voices as it was really very distracting and unprofessional for a customer to hear their inappropriate conversation, and she ignored me completely asking me what I needed for my drinks. I asked her, "did you hear what I say?", and she kept ignoring me asking me few times if that completed my order. This place is always full of ignorant teenagers as employees, so they definitely need to be retrained on how essential and important customer service is for a business. I felt so disrespected by this employee...completely unnecessary. I will make sure this complaint gets all the way to corporate. read more

Zaxby house salad is good. It's near our office and we come here almost weekly. Service is friendly. As a fast food restaurant, I would have given 5-stars if the drink bar, tables and floors had been supervised. This fast food restaurant has real promise, but fails to deliver. I've eaten at this particular location (near my work) twice now, and both visits have been disappointing. The first time I visited, I had a salad with blackened chicken and blue cheese. The taste was alright, portion size was generous, but I developed a terrible headache after eating a small amount of the food. I visited a second time today and after ordering the traditional buffalo chicken wings meal, I was asked by the person operating the register what sauce I wanted with the wings. I said "blue cheese" and she said: "instead of the ranch dressing it comes with?", I said "fine, ranch it is" and then she said "what sauce do you want the wings tossed with", I said: "the sign said buffalo, I said buffalo", she was confused and explained there are many sauce options for the wings. I said: "just give me the wings without sauce". I was given dry, tasteless wings (my choice) and ranch dressing (her choice) and very cold, old, soggy french fries. Nobody was in this restaurant at 1:00pm and that should have alerted me. I will forever avoid this location. Cannot recommend. read more

The chicken is definitely good for a fast casual restaurant, which is why we keep going back, but the service leaves much to be desired. We've visited this Zaxby's once or twice a month since it opened, and the vast majority of the time, our order gets messed up. We typically order a house chicken salad (no tomatoes) with a side of buffalo sauce, and a buffalo bleu salad (no tomatoes). The last time we ordered this, both salads came with tomatoes, the side of buffalo sauce was forgotten (and when I reminded the person who gave us our food, he gave us a side of French dressing instead), and there was no buffalo sauce on the buffalo bleu salad. Something like this happens virtually every time we go there. The problem is not with the cashiers (although they always seem to have trouble understanding our orders, our receipts come back correct), but with the people preparing the food. My wife went through the drive through once when I was out of town, and she said she saw employees having a food fight (literally throwing food at each other) through the drive-through window! The food is definitely pretty good for the price, but definitely check to make sure that you actually received what you ordered!
