Remarkably good considering it is a chain. Chicken tenders were well seasoned, juicy. Delicious with or without sauces. I enjoyed the BBQ and "wimpy" sauces. The "original" and sweet and spicy, not so much. Onion rings were great. The zestable sauce is tasty. The fried cheddar cheese bites were ok. Not remarkable and not horrible. Just over-shadowed by the other items. Lastly, the coleslaw is exactly how I like it. Similar to KFC and Bojangles. Just great. They only had 3 sodas when I ordered 4 but I saw that and asked for it. As always Zaxbys is amazing, portions great and price fair. I read some bad reviews so decided to stop in to this location. I think they must've made some changes since those reviews because the restaurant was very clean and the mens restroom was as well. Man was it chilly in here a nice relief from a hot day. I do have two minor gripes though: 1) It would be nice to have some ambient sound or music might i suggest jazz. 2) Either the air filters need to be changed more often or the ceiling tiles by the vents cleaned because thats not a good look. Restaurant dining area and men's restroom filthy. Close to a third of the tables had trash. Trash on floor at beverage station and in restroom, right in front of cashier. Drain flies in men's urinal. Looking past the sanitation, the food was the typical Zaxby's high standard. House Salad with grilled chicken delicous. After a long day of golfing, a friend and I were in the mood for some delicious chicken tenders. So naturally we headed to Chick-fil-A, a tried and true Christian chick establishment. When suddenly we noticed a Zaxby's. We enthusiastically took a detour and quickly jumped into the drive thru line that was wrapped around the building. Eagerly waiting out delicious moist chicken tendies, when it came time to place our order, they RUDELY said "We Closed". To which we replied, "im sorry?". For them to scream violently "WE CLOSED!". We locked eyes like lovers do, looked at the clock in disbelief, and said to ourselves, "it's 12:37pm on a Saturday". Shocked, broken, and confused, we drove off from Satans kitchen and made our way to the lords house of chicken tendies after we begged for forgiveness and promised we would never leave the lords chicken out to dry like that again. This Zaby location really needs some major help. I stopped in on a Saturday morning with a friend to try and get something to eat. The drive thru was packed so we decided to go inside and on entering we where greeted with angry customers waited to get there orders corrected. We decided to wait it out and after about 15 minutes we where able to order so I got a basket of fries and 3 cookies plus some extra dipping sauces. My friend gets a tender meal deal with fries and a drink. After waiting maybe 15 more minutes we finally get our food and the lady is giving us a hard time after advising her we never got our sauces we paid extra for or the cookies. We show her the receipt as she's saying it's not on her screen. After she realized the mess up she doesn't even bother to apologize for her mistake and rudeness. The food was terrible and just thrown together in the bag, the coke freestyle machine was out of so many things, the cookies are a disgrace "Fresh baked" maybe two weeks ago. The dining area is not even open so all you have is a small little waiting area that's cramped as soon as you walk in. Overall This was my first and last time ever coming to zaxbys. I can't believe I drove twenty minutes out of the way for the worst zaxbys I've ever been to. Don't have milkshakes anymore, no ice, the freestyle was out of coke, all the tables were filthy and Not cleaned, my shoes stuck to the floor and I could hear them peeling off of it while walking, food took almost fifteen minutes, and to top it all off, the honey mustard I ordered was some kind of weird, gross, spicy cheese sauce? I've never gotten sauce from zaxbys in a container like this and it definitely wasn't the regular honey mustard. Met up with a friend and he mentioned a place next to Hooters which he heard was good so off we went to Zaxby's. Pulling into the parking lot , it comes off as a upscale eatery, however upon entry it looks more like a fast food joint with a splash of TGI Friday's decor. The menu is somewhat limited to what the logo under the Zaxby's name , Chicken. The options vary from chicken strips to a sandwich and a few, what else chicken based salads. After careful consideration and trying to pick a healthy option , we both ordered the Cajun Club sandwiches that actually looked good but I wasn't expecting much honestly. What I received was a typical chick sandwich with crinkle cut fries and drink. However I must admit , the sandwich was actually very good , possibly even a small step above the All Mighty Chick-Fil-A.. Chicken was moist lots of flavor seasoned and cooked well on a soft buttery bun with tomato and lettuce. They don't offer as many options but what they do offer is very tasty so far from what I have experienced. I will try one of their Zalads another time and I have heard from other Yelpers that the chicken strips are another good choice. Overall you can't go wrong with this place even if the menu is a bit limited which can be useful for indecisive people like myself, that take forever sometimes to decide on something as simple as fast food. read more

We love Zaxby's. When we are in the south it's always one of our first stops. I'm going to preface this review saying we stopped to eat at 7 PM on New Year's Eve. We were hungry and grateful they were open. The service was very slow. Our order was taken promptly, there were only a couple other small groups in the restaurant but our food took 15 minutes. The server apologized for the wait. The food was good, as always.The chicken fingers, crinkle cut fries, Texas toast and boneless wings with tongue torch sauce were all delicious. I am entirely unhappy with the service I received today. I posted a photo of the burnt toast I received at this location and I called back to speak with the supervisor. I told her my toast was burnt and that I was not going to eat this burnt piece of bread. She stated she had no idea how that happened because she was standing at the drive thru. I mean was she not checking the order to verify it was correct because I wouldn't serve anyone that burnt bread. Truly unhappy that her lack of customer service skills had an effect on the future of me returning. Tonight at 8:30 we ordered drive thru, the Grilled chicken cobb salad and the number 1. We were greeted with, "hang on" which makes you appreciate the order takers that offer you their special at the beginning. Then the order taker said, "the house?" We repeated "cobb" since there is not one salad on the menu that reads specifically house. So for starters, the employees don't know their own menu. Then we were handed the food with no drink. As we waited for them to open the window an employee who may have been the manager since she was wearing a special black polo instead of a blue shirt opened the window and instead of asking us what we were waiting for she asked the employee" what do they want?" My favorite place to visit when I come to the east coast..... Unfortunately a young lady by the name of Cara yelled "they can't be changing their order at the window like that" it was so unprofessional and I felt embarrassed for the young lady trying to assist. ZAXBYS is an amazing establishment and should not have individuals with such poor service representing the company. Possibly Cara was having a rough day and her patience was wearing thin...but in a customer service industry you have to take those issues to the back to vent and not allow the customer to see any frustration. My favorite fast food restaurant! Best chicken fingers outside of Elephant Bar in California!! Tender, juicy white meat tenders, creamy crinkle cut fries, texas toast, and great coleslaw (think KFC slaw) and many dipping sauces to choose from. My favorite is their honey mustard., Of course you can get sandwiches and salads, which are great too, but I seemed to go back for the chicken tender plate. Portions are generous enough and prices are comparable. Restaurant is inviting and clean. This particular one did not have very friendly employees however. No greeting with a smile, even a little rude, but if you can ignore them, the food is worth the trip. read more

The scenery was also pretty nice. It was in like the 50's kind of theme. Dropped in for a quick dinner when we discovered our targeted restaurant is closed. This is a good fast chicken shop. I consider it nearly as good as Popeyes, better than KFC or Churches. Lots of chicken variations and meal deals. Their naked wings are fine and chicken tenders go well with their optional sauce that is similar to remoulade. It's chicken. It's amazing chicken. Crinkle cut fries. Zaxby's sauce (basically Russian and Caesar dressings mixed but dang--so good.) Different appetizers like fried mushrooms, garlic toast and white cheddar bites. Shakes and soda (try the birthday shake, it's incredible.) Salads too, but I don't know anyone who would pass up those fries. Prices are fair and everything is very fresh. Counter-style ordering or drive-thru. I love zaxbys cheddar bites, so I like to eat there. But this location is really lacking in service. Orders always take way to long, usually the order is not right, and tonight I pulled in at 5 till 8 and told my passenger "watch, they won't have milkshakes" then I ordered a chocolate shake and of course the girl says their machine is down. Really they just shut it down early so they can clean it and can leave faster at close. I left, not going back. I guess the store does enough business for the owner, but if it was me, I would look for New management as the place is not Run well. read more

I go to the drive thru here a few times and don't usually have a problem. Today the person taking the order was not paying attention at all since I had to repeat everything twice or more, then I gotta a "hang on" and after a minute, asked me to repeat everything again. Once I got to the window, I noticed they were happy and smiling and joking with the car in front of me, but when I drove up it was unfriendly attitude with some eye rolling.
