I ordered the four fingers dinner via DoorDash. DoorDash did a wonderful job. I received my meal within 10 minutes at the Holiday Inn express. The meal left a lot to be desired though. Apparently they have little chickens here with little fingers. These chicken fingers were the smallest I've ever seen. They're about 1/3 the size of the chicken pieces that you get at raising Cane's chicken. They neglected to put a spoon or fork in with my order to use to eat the coleslaw. I managed to use the fries to dip the coleslaw. Not so bad. I guess the toast that they included in the order was buttered with something horrible. It was either bad butter or margarine or whatever it was was rancid tasty you could not even chew mouthful of it, I had to spit it out. Overall, DoorDash did great, Zaxby's did horrible. I don't believe I'll be ordering anything from them anytime soon, or more likely not ever. read more

This was my second time trying Zaxby's since I'm from the northeast, I don't have Zaxby's near me. The food was great. I ordered the Zax Snak meal, which is 3 tenders, fries, and garlic toast. Everything was hot and crispy with plenty of flavor. The Zax Sauce was good as well, it was like Chick Fil A sauce, but more spicy. The dining room was very well decorated, and was pretty modern. The only complaint I have is that the dining room was a little dirty. The employees could certainly spend a little extra time cleaning up after people. Overall a great experience and anytime I'm down south, I'll hit up Zaxby's for sure! read more

I stopped in for a quick bite on the way to a HS Football game and I did not get that! Slowest Zaxby's I have ever been to. I was second in line to order and had to wait 23 minutes to get my five chicken finger plate. They were out of cole slaw (???) and I am glad I drink sweet tea as you were out of luck if you wanted to get a Coke or Dr. Pepper from the Coca Cola Freestyle machine as it was out. As I was waiting, the cashier had to search for a customer who had ordered a couple of the new chicken phillys as they had run out of the fixings to make the sandwich. When I did get my food, the chicken was piping hot but the fries (extra fries since no cole slaw) were barely warm. The food was up to Zaxby's standard and that's the only reason I am giving this Zaxby's a 3 star rating. I don't like giving bad reviews but I suggest that you find some other option when passing through Villa Rica as this location has a lot of issues to address. I know that Zaxby's can get really busy, but the "rush" here was not a heavy one and they simply could not prepared to handle it from a food stock or an employee situation. read more

Dont care about customer service at this restaurant. Ordered two sandwiches both were wrong. One i ordered no pickles due to allergy abd the proceed to put extra pickles and when i tell them im allergic they try to give me the same sandwich again after taking the pickles off. So when I pulled up to the drive-through I tried to give my order four different times and they kept saying that they could not hear me so I cut my car off and tried to give my order again they said the speaker was going in and out so they asked me to pull around to the window. So I did it there was another car in front of me I sit there about five minutes I go to pull up to the window and a young lady came to the window and said we're closed, so I said but y'all asked me to pull around around to take my order because The speaker was going in and out she said yeah but we're closed. I was told by several people that Some employees at zaxbys will do that when it gets close to closing time. To me it's just rude you ask someone to pull around to take your order and you do it you sit there five minutes and they're going to tell you that they're closed. read more

I love Zaxby's for fast food and always want to make sure I go at least once whenever i'm in the South. This was the first one we passed that was convenient to stop at headed to Alabama from the Atlanta airport. Like other reviewers said, the customer service here wasn't the best. But, I don't have high expectations for a fast food place with that. I like that they have the coke freestyle machine for drinks. The food was just as good as any other Zaxby's. I got the "big zax snack" with chicken fingers, fries and texas toast. All of those things are awesome. I especially like their fries. read more

It took my husband and I nearly 20 minutes to finally get our food. Once we finally got it, the chicken was cold and the fries were stale. In a year I have been here 4 times, not like going 2 times a week before I retired... every time is worse and worse with chicken. Over cooked like u would not imagine, tough, hard, dry-OMG. Every time I swore no more but kept trying but today is it. I got the smoke sandwich and it was so over cooked so thick on one side and thin in other. Before this visit to Villa Rica, I'd never heard of Zaxby's. So I had to find out what it was, and I was pretty excited to find a menu of solid chicken options - way more options than Raising Cane's, which is probably their most similar competitor. All of our group ordered some variation of chicken wings or chicken fingers. I got the boneless wings with original sauce, which wasn't as tangy as a traditional buffalo wing sauce but had nice flavor. The celery was a nice cut right from the heart. I was disappointed that they didn't have a blue cheese dipping sauce for the wings, since that's a classic pairing. I chose pasta salad for my other side, and it was okay, nothing special. The Texas toast, though, was good in a way that buttered bread rarely is. Crisp, flavorful, and a great wing accompaniment. I went back after my meal for a birthday cake milkshake and it was DIVINE. The shake had the flavor of cake batter with crunchy little sugar sprinkles, and it was topped with chocolate whipped cream. The entire nation is having a whipped cream shortage, and Zaxby's has rustled up chocolate whipped cream?! Magic, that's what this is. Final note: we were endlessly amused by the Zaxby's motto of "Real Chicken." I'm pretty sure their chicken is no more - or less - real than any other fast food joint's. But it did lead to saying, "What the actual chicken!?" in response to all sorts of situations. read more
