Fast food chicken wings? That's correct they have wings for you and fast. The service is great the employees are awesome. My so has allergies. We asked about what the products contain and the counter person asked her coworkers answered. The employee even went out of her way to show me a sheet with all the allergens. This customer service alone is worth 5 stars. The food was spectacular, I was not expecting it to be this good for being fast food wings. They have different flavors of sauce I got a few on the side to try and they were all tasty. I also ordered fried mushrooms, and other fried food. The mushrooms were my absolute favorite. The shrooms were sliced, breaded and fried I have had shrooms before but they are always fried whole. Maybe the sliced added somthing. All the food was great. Gave someone our order and walked out with It then walked back in and gave it to us, waited more than 30 mins for food then missed half our order, workers were arguing behind counter, didn't give us any of our sauces. Now I know this is a fast food establishment, so I can't expect perfection, but this was a complete disappointment. The issue with road trips is these are the sorts of places we will have to stop at to get some food in the middle of nowhere. I got some chicken strips from them, and they had a horrible weed smell that went perfectly with their taste. It even rubbed off onto the fries. I am not sure how this happened but it was completely inedible. Not even dousing it in Zax's sauce could mask the smell and taste. This was the worst Zaxbys that I have ever gone too, and I will certainly never return to this one. I'd recommend you go to Burger King 10/10 times over this farce of a fast food restaurant. First time trying Zaxby's on a whim during a long road trip north. Very tasty! Word of caution, when you order the 'insane' spicy buffalo sauce to be smothered on your tenders - they're not messing around. The vapors alone from the sauce could ignite in an unstable atmosphere! Tenders were white breast meat, freshly breaded and flash fried. Vast majority of meat to bread ratio made for a nice snack as we resumed our way northbound on 95. Zaxby's isn't one of my favorites. I wouldn't say it's bad, just not my first choice. That being said, this is a good location. Friendly staff and nice dining area. When I do come, I get wings (usually boneless) and fries. The wings are good for a fast food place, don't have your expectations too high. What I really don't like is the Texas Toast that comes with all the meals. I think it's so greasy it's to the point of being wet. My wife completely disagrees with me, so she always ends up stealing mine. The best thing in the menu in my opinion is the "Fried white cheddar bites". It comes with a marinara dipping sauce. Food was ok. Store was dirty, no napkins out, bathroom floor was dangerously slippery, and the entrance door was seriously in need of some grease, it screeched so loud every time it opened. Nope nope nope. We stopped here on a road trip, eager for some food. We've never had Zaxby's before but thought the chicken fingers and sandwiches would be a good substitute for Chick-Fil-A. Ooof. This place was a mistake. First of all, when we drove up my husband spotted a sign prominently displayed RIGHT OUTSIDE THE STORE stating that if you sign up online to be a part of their text and email club, you get a free sandwich. So, he signed us both up and we automatically got the "welcome to the Zaxby club" texts. When we showed this to the cashier, she had no idea what we were talking about. My husband interjected, "You know, the sign out front....??" She called over the manager who started to explain how "At this location we don't really do things like that, because, well, sometimes its a scam..." Um. My husband then again reiterated that the sign outside stated otherwise and the actual Zaxby's website also had this deal stated clearly. "So, are we not reading the website correctly?" The manager continued to state how "We don't really do things here like that", but that he didn't want to be "confrontational" (?!?!) so he comped us one meal. When we finally placed our order, the cashier gal asked if we wanted any Zaxby's sauce. I asked what it tasted like and she said, "Well it's our special sauce." I asked, once again, how it tasted and she just pushed a packet towards me and said "Here you can read the ingredients, I don't really like it." Way to sell me on it! The sandwiches and chicken fingers tasted pretty good (although we weren't fans of the seasoning (cajun?) on the fries)....until ALL four of us got sick a few hours later. I ordered on the app as I have probably 100 times with the Zaxby's app, as I walk up to the restaurant I told the lady I had ordered let me also say that I've eaten at Zaxby's four times in the past week because I get great service and being a truck driver I can walk up to the window. 18 minutes after my confirmation email was sent I finally got my food which was stone cold so if you like cold food this is the place to go. Absolutely the worst experience! Actually just left after getting a refund. To start, the restaurant is disgusting. None of the tables are clean and all the floors are sticky. Next, the staff look like they don't have a clue what they are doing. People were waiting 10 minutes or more to order because the staff weren't around. The couple in front of us waited over 20 minutes for their food. We waited 25 for a simple order and they started bringing someone else's order out. When we asked about our order they didn't have a clue where it was. So we asked for a refund. Got the refund after 30 minutes with no apologies or any sign of remorse. As we were leaving they miraculously found the order. I get if you're short staffed but they had ample people, just not doing anything to assist customers. We try to give people the benefit of the doubt but you really can't when it's obvious staff don't care. Avoid this place and don't waste your time. read more

They need to add a bathroom, I think it's ridiculous that there's only one bathroom for gender. They are so disorganized it's ridiculous. My dad had to help them figure it out. I've been wanting to stop in and try Zaxby's for the longest time. I'm glad I finally did. Here in Cincinnati, we have a couple of establishments that serve hand-breaded chicken tenders (Butterbees and Tender Towne, which I have reviewed already for your pleasure) but nothing compares to this place. 6 tenders, 3 slices of toast, fries, ranch for the tenders and fries, and a Vanilla Coke out of the Freestyle machine to wash it all down. Best $10 ever spent! I will definitely be back, and I'll probably pass out again in the car afterwards. read more

I genuinely don't know how this restaurant is still operating. We had a similar experience last time & figured it was a fluke, so tried again today. We placed our order at 3:49pm and they didn't call our order until 4:20. We only stayed because the line was so long it wasn't worth waiting to get to the cashier to get a refund. I personally saw 3 people leave in anger WITHOUT FOOD after asking for refunds, and saw another man leave without even getting one (he also left with no food). Employees are rude and lazy. I can't imagine the # of complaints corporate has to get about this location, but something needs to be done and quickly. I can't believe it's operating this way. read more

Stopped at this Zaxby's because I have never been to one. Got the tenders and to me they were kind of salty. You definitely need sauce. Final verdict, it was OK. Service was OK, the kid at the register was OK. There was two staff that did take the time to explain what Zax sauce was, which in itself was OK. We had a bad experience while traveling last night. We stopped at this location and witnessed the worse Zaxbys experience we have ever had. Back home in NC we frequent our local Zaxbys weekly and have never had a problem. Here is a summary of our experience: 1) We walked in a little before 9:45. The building does not close until 10. Yet it was obvious we were not wanted there. Trash cans were already being emptied so there was no place to put the trash. Chairs were already being stacked on the tables. I don't understand why the staff was packing up 45 minutes prior to close time. 2) My wife witnessed a female employee use the bathroom, even pick something up off of the floor and then failed to wash their hands. This is unacceptable behavior. 3) I ordered the mini sandwiches without the zax sauce. The receipt clearly stated, no zax sauce. Yet my order was made with the sauce. When we told them about the error the response was "uhh, do you want me to remake it?" That should not have even been a question! The owner and management really needs to have a closer eye on this franchise. read more
