Very rude and unwelcoming environment. Owner was rude as soon as I walked in and I didn't even get the chance to order.

I literally never do this. But I ordered a carry out lunch for a work linch I hosted today…read more The order was ready on time and packed nicely which is always great. But above that, the food was excellent!! I had a kabob pita with hummus and a side of tabbouleh. The steak was awesome so tender and high quality. The tabbouleh delicious and crunchy fresh and the hummus creamy and flavorful. It's a little pricey but I got two full meals out of my entree. The smoothies are super good too!!! The staff/probably ownership were super friendly. It's casual but light, bright and clean. Very cute. I wish I lived closer I would go all the time!!!

Cedar and Olive was hands down the best meal in Jacksonville…read more We went for lunch and were guided by the warmest, most helpful staff. Let me tell you about the Tawook Sandwich, this thing is something special. The garlic spread they use combined with perfectly seasoned chicken, pickles, and just the right amount of crispy french fry tucked inside makes it one of the best things I have ever eaten. I'm not exaggerating. It's the kind of bite that stops you mid-conversation because you just need a moment to appreciate it. The shish kabob platter was equally incredible, the steak was impossibly tender and packed with deep, rich flavor. The hummus and pita rounded everything out beautifully, simple but executed with real care. What sets Cedar and Olive apart is that you can genuinely taste the passion behind every single dish. This isn't food that was just prepared, it was crafted with intention and creativity. If you're in Jacksonville, please do yourself a favor and go here. Don't think about it, just go. You will not regret it.

They also have several types of breads including gluten free! They have a desert case with large cakes, cookies, and other goodies. We had good service despite it being busier than we expected. We like to pick times in between what is usually considered busy. We are already planning our next visit

It has a large menu with many sandwiches, meats, sausages, among other great stuff to choose from. Our first moments here began by just navigating around the restaurant to see what it was all about. There are large number of wine and beer selections. Though I abstain from alcoholic beverages, I would guess that most are of the European variety - they have beer on the tap setup across from the dessert counter. After the quick self-tour and a conversation with the manager, we lodged in our seats and got ready to order. I actually was hoping the cafe offered speciality coffee like a latte, but that was quickly dashed when the server said they only served regular or decaf coffee. Initially I was disappointed but ordered one anyway. When it arrived and I dressed it up a little with some Splenda and Coffee Mate, I found it to be one the best regular cups of coffee I've had in a long time. We took a while to order because it is a sizable menu. However, I was sold immediately on the Rueben sandwich selections and just need to pick one. I settled on the classic Rueben, which was a mix of corned beef, pastrami, sauerkraut, cheese, a superb Thousand Island-type dressing on pumpernickel bread - it was delicious from start to finish! I will note that you can choose other breads and cheeses with the Ruebens. Some options may come at added cost. I'm glad it was large enough to take some home with me. My dearest chose the turkey Parisian. This was a splendid choice with a nice mix of excellent deli turkey, Brie, raspberry sauce, cucumber, and lettuce on a large croissant. Both sandwiches were more than worth the price of admission! Our server displayed excellent courtesy and care throughout our eating experience. I greatly appreciate the manager taking time to chat with me as well. I really felt good at European Street Cafe! With the fantastic artistry on the walls, the large setting of wooden tables and chairs well-spaced and well-organized on both sides of the interior has the look of a classic cafe that has been around for a good number of years. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and has a nice outdoor patio area not far from the entrance. I think I found a great place to visit when I crave a Rueben sandwich! This one today felt like a Time Machine moment for me as my mom made them like this when I was a kiddo! Thanks for making this visit special today European Street Cafe! Recommend: VERY HIGH

There is a bar area that opens at 4:00 and they offer happy hour appetizers and drinks. If you are lucky, Rachel will wait on you as she is the bomb! There is a dining room area and then there is the wine barrel room. We love the wine barrel room as it encompassed all things related to the wine country. The servers are all great, but Brandon is the bomb in the dining room. The menu is robust and everything is made from scratch. Our family's favorites are cheese bread and lamb chops to start. The favored entrees are the filet meal, the ahi tuna meal, the smash burger and for me being vegetarian, I do the curry dish with no protein. Dessert is the donut bread pudding. It's a lively atmosphere but classy. Reservations are suggested for prime hours. You will love this place.

The atmosphere was really nice, not over the top extravagant but you'll want to dress to impress. The food for happy hour was excellent. We shared sliders, meatballs which were really good, the salmon sliders were tasty too and finally the dip was good as well. The happy hour has discount on their EOS wines which were ok. We'll definitely be back.
