Dari placed an order for my flip, it was the wrong interface, for the wrong phone, not his fault. I could have called in when I had time to get the right phone info. They fixed my son's iPhone within 15 min. Super easy. Unfortunately for my phone, I have to wait another day, but that's OK. Dari called me with the updates, super transparent, honest, and I like that. Location is clean, ample parking, and Dari has excellent customer service skills, very professional/reliable. #UPDATE After a little over a week of use. The caveats below…read morestill persist. One thing I've also been noticing is my screen will sometimes lag heavily. This goes for watching a video as well. Video will be choppy/laggy and this never happened to my original screen. Sometimes if I charge my phone and play music and use Apple Maps, the screen will also lag heavily I'll. Again this never happened with original screen. I've also noticed greatly that my battery % is being drained a lot faster. Even if it's regular use like how I did with my original Apple screen. I suspect it's the aftermarket screen. However, the 4 star review will still stay. Just an update. Will probably buy a new phone soon but this is still decent for $85. Great customer service. Fast service. I replaced my iPhone 15pro screen due to cracked screen. The only downside that resulted in 4/5 star is the aftermarket screen. It's great for a quick on the go if you don't want to spend $180+ for an original screen. The lighting on the aftermarket screen does have a light blue led color to it and it is not as vibrant as an orignal Apple screen. This you can tell. I don't mind this as my eyes will get adjusted to it. However, my biggest gripe to where I can tell a big difference on is the lag input on swiping. Just swiping the Home Screen to the next screen, the apps become blurry and it isn't a smooth transition. Another, big issue is the touch screen. I did put another screen protector layer on top of the new after market seal (the seal is part of a warranty depending on if it breaks or not). So I decided to try and protect my screen further. Upon doing so, I can tell a big difference in typing my letters especially the letters to the side of the screen "A a S P L & backspace". I now have to press my screen ALOT harder to register the letter I want. I find myself having to backspace and retype my words a lot more as pressing the letters do not register sometimes. Sometimes swiping from bottom screen up to close an app also does not work and I would have to press my screen hard to swipe up. Overall, this is a good purchase for a quick $85 on the go. If you do not mind the caveats I have listed here (maybe it's just my screen) then $85 is great. Other than that, you may want to spend more and get an original Apple screen.

I used the Yelp service quote feature to get a quote to repair my broken headphones from various…read morebusinesses in the area. Fix My Gadget responded with a quote to repair my headphones for a flat $35. When I went to the location on 11/27 to drop off my headphones, the young guy took the headphones and charged me $35 for the repair and gave no indication of when they would be fixed just that they would call us. Later that evening I received a text message that they found the issue, parts will be ordered, and the headphones will be ready for pickup in a week . There was no communication of the cost of these parts, that they were in addition to the $35 I had already paid, or confirming if I wanted to continue with the repair knowing the new cost. They just ordered the parts and assumed I would pay for them. One week later, on 12/5 I hadn't heard from Fix My Gadget, so I texted. I got a response that the parts were arriving on 12/6 and by 12/7 the repair would be done. On 12/7 I hadn't heard back...again, so I texted. Fix My Gadget responded saying the parts will be delivered on 12/14. Another week later, on 12/14, I hadn't heard bak, so I texted....again. I got a response that the headphones were ready for pickup. When I arrived at the store, I tested the headphones and everything worked great. I'm guessing these were different headphones altogether, because they wouldn't pair with the devices they were previously paired with at originally. In addition, Fix My Gadget charged me an addition $62 for "parts" which they never communicated or confirmed I was willing to pay. Come to find out, the $35 I originally paid was a nonrefundable deposit as the person at the business explained to us their process, but it was the first time we heard it. Overall I paid almost $100 for my repairs that I was not expecting. The communication was most likely broken down due to the multiple ways we contacted the business where each representative probably assumed our first point of contact explained things, but we were unhappy with the information we got during the entire process. We were happy that Fix My Gadget was able to fix my headphones in the end. I think anyone who uses their services will need to ask more questions than we did and the experience will be better.

First they tried one screen after 4 hours of my phone being in their office it was glitchy and did not work. They tried another screen that one also didn't work then they tried a 3rd screen that they did not state was $350. They had my husband in there for 4 1/2 hours and even an hour past closing time. He was arguing with the owner of the shop over the phone for those entire 4 hours trying to get a refund for the $130.66 and they finally agreed to refund it since we did not want the screen and they took it off and put my broken one back on. They ended up giving him $87.00 back and scammed $43.66 out of the money we paid. No this did not include the $35 deposit that you have to pay to get your phone diagnosed which you do not get refunded which is understandable. They then came to the conclusion that the battery is bad in my phone and needed to be replace and the owner of the store wanted another $35 to diagnose if my battery is actually bad and then however much more on top of that to replace the battery he said no and left at 8pm last night. He went back in today and the owner was refusing to answer the workers phone calls because they have to get verification that they can give cash back. I did the math on the markup price of the original $150 screen replacement that they still wanted to sell to me even though it was glitching and malfunctioning. I found the website they order from and they are charging a 74.43% markup on replacing the screen. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT MONEY SCAMMED FROM YOU. I will be going back myself and getting my money back.
