never again. the child hurt my spine and doesn't know what a massage is. Horrible mistake letting him go on and completely f up my alignment. i don't recommend this establishment at all.

My husband and I tried this last Nov. 18th, and it was amazing. The salt cave was so beautiful and relaxing plus it relieved my sinus congestion. However, I took a star off since my husband found the seat to be uncomfortable since he is tall specifically for the neck part. There was a 45-minute guided meditation as you sit inside the salt cave. You're allowed to bring your bag inside and you will remove your shoes outside or you can just wear the booties provided to cover your shoes. There are also a lot of spa-related items being sold outside the salt cave. There are crystals, soaps, and aromatherapy. It is a good place to visit when in Santa Barbara, they also offer facials and massages. Another thing is that the Salt Cave is in a basement type of location so you have to use the stairs to go down or get access to the place, so that is one thing to consider if you have someone with you that would find it difficult to use the stairs.

This is what the salt cave looks like.

We got the Groupon for the 45 minute cave session which was very relaxing. It's like a combination sound bath and salt detox. My sinuses cleared up from the salt and the sounds were very soothing. We also got the combination scrub and massage. My masseur Mia did a great job very gentle. A few tips if you are used to Korean spas this is totally different. Bring a robe or jacket for the salt cave it is not a sauna. They have a variety of salt scents to choose from. We chose the lavender which was very soothing. You do not need a robe or towels to wash up after the massage these are provided. They also have a relaxing tea room and they provide Asian slippers to wear in the rooms. Added tip, if you get a treatment you get a discount of their wonderful products! Plan to spend 3 hours there for a great experience.

My friend booked a Cave Meditation session, and I had no idea what that entailed.  We entered a glowy crystal cave packed with pink Himalayan salt. Gentle music played in the background. We lied on the crushed salt... and fell asleep for 45 minutes.  Not sure if it improved my respiratory health as halotherapy claims to do, but the much-needed nap left us feeling a bit more energetic. I think the setting was a novel experience, but I wouldn't come back for Cave Meditation.

I visited SB on a work trip for my husband. I browsed the Groupon app and found this experience! I really didn't know what to expect, but ended with a wonderful experience. I walked into a cave beautifully covered in Himalayan salt and nice lighting. I selected a wide zero gravity chair and waited. A recorded voice came on for a few minutes and walked us through breathing exercises, for the rest of the experience soft yoga music came on until the 45 minutes were done. I purchased a few items in the shop and although my Groupon included 10% an item, it was not given to me. Overall, it was a nice experience for the price.

Left the salt cave feeling so relaxed. Great products and a station to sample. Pam gave us fantastic local recommendations which did not disappoint!

What an EXPERIENCE!! Our session was amazing!! We did the salt cave 45 min meditation where we got to relax and unwind from all the walking and activities! On State St. kind of a hidden gem. their staff is warm and helpful. We checked in with no problem and were given clear instructions of what would happen next. their medication music was awesome and so were the reclining chairs! Honestly, if youre around check them out! next time we are back here we are getting the couples massage. i heard so many great things about it!

My brother as interested in this Salt Cave while walking around SB so we decided to give it a visit. It was so calming and relaxing inside. The scents were also very intriguing and we even tried some of the CBD balms and salts! It's a very unique store where you can buy gifts for yourself or others. The prices were also not bad!

Ask the Community - Salt Cave Santa Barbara

For the cave meditation, do they accept walk ins or by appointment only? Also, I would like to book for next weekend (Sunday) do you still honor groupon vouchers?

Our business accepts both walk-in and in advance reservations. The sessions start at the top of an hour unless a private booking. Due to quiet meditation if someone comes in after the hour, we honor a paid reservation and allow the person to…

Is there an opportunity to change clothes before entering?

Yes, they have nice bathrooms you can use. We did not feel the need to change but could have easily if we wanted to.

Is the salt cave meditation included with your massage services?

    No, is not included.

Is there an elevator so can avoid stairs?

Yes. The elevator is next to our entrance.

My wife is going thru Chemotherapy and experiencing Neuropathy when cold. What is the temperature during massage? What is the temperature during cave sessions? Can she wear her uggs and not be bearfoot?…

The temperature in the massage rooms is 72. The therapists can add a blanket and there are heating pads on the massage tables which can be turned on upon request. The meditation cave is 72. The staff will supply a blanket upon request at the…

Is the day spa offered as long as we purchase a service?

Not sure about this question. The spa is a mineral spa specializing in Himalayan Salt with numerous massage or facial treatments. Explained in our website. Thanks

Are masks required in the salt cave meditation session?

Masks were part of Covid. Currently we do not require masks.

Are you guys back open for massage sessions?

Per the County of Santa Barbara, we are allowed to start spa services as of June 26 (today). We are checking on availability of therapists (we have one on staff at present) and we will be setting up the safety procedures for our clients and staff.…

How much is a couples message?

All depends on the type of massage, but the last time I was there for a couple massage, I paid $350.00 including tips.

Hi I'm trying to figure out if this is a Korean spa similar to King Spa-several rms, sauna, etc or if it is a regular spa where I pay for a specific service?

Neither. You go in and they give you a blanket and you take your shoes off and you sit in anti gravity chairs for 45 minutes and rest and relax. That's it. It's heaven.

Hello! I discovered this through Groupon and I'm wondering if I should bother purchasing the special through them or would the price for services still be honored in store?

They did not honor Groupon price for me. I had to buy Groupon right in front of them.

Do they have really experienced hair stylist?

No. We do not have hair stylists.

Is the cave heated? and is it ok for pregnant women?

The cave is 70 degrees. They provide a blanket but it is chilly inside. This should be fine for pregnant women. It is a large room full of Himalayan salt. The room is inside a store in an older building. There are steep stairs and an elevator that…

My 20 year old son has suffered with debilitating pain/migraines for the past 7 years. He has been in constant daily pain that entire time, the only thing that would relieve his pain was weekly nerve blocks and even those would only reduce his pain for 1-2 days. He wasn't able to attend school in person or get a job. He has missed countless family/friend events and has missed out on so much of his childhood and teenage years. He has greatly suffered physically and mentally/emotionally for years. We found Dr. Lowenstein during a google search and he has completely changed my sons life and future. My son had nerve decompression surgery from Dr. Lowenstein for supratrochlear neuralgia. He woke up from surgery completely pain free and remains pain free for the first time in 7 years! Dr. Lowenstein is a very knowledgeable and skilled plastic surgeon who took great care during surgery to address my sons issues and alleviate his pain, he also created an incision that would heal with minimal scaring. Dr. Lowenstein's pre and post surgical care was very thorough. He is very conscientious with his patients care and well being. He took greats steps to avoid any complications or infections and my son had an extremely smooth recovery due to these efforts. The entire staff at Dr. Lowenstein's office were amazing and such a pleasure to work with! We felt supported and informed throughout the entire process. Crystal, the office manager, was the first person I interacted with when I called. She was so nice and helpful. Christina, the patient coordinator, was very empathetic and supportive to what we were going through. She was very knowledgeable about the surgery and she walked us through each step of the process, even helping us find a hotel to stay at. Christina was very helpful and organized and made me feel like we were in good hands. Jodi and Shelley were my sons nurses, they were so caring and compassionate and really made us feel at ease and well taken care of. Jodi called us several weeks before the surgery and went over everything in detail and answered all of our questions. Jodi was my sons nurse the day of surgery and she really helped calm our nerves. She kept in contact with me before and after the surgery which I really appreciated. When I was overcome with joy and tears after seeing my son pain free Jodi was there to share in my excitement. My sons anesthesiologist, Cory, was very reassuring and professional, we instantly felt comfortable and safe with him. We had Shelley during our consultation and post op appointments. Shelley genuinely shared in our joy and was so supportive. My son and I both felt like he was in great hands with everyone at Dr. Lowenstein's office and that we had made the right decision to move forward with his decompression surgery. This surgery has been life changing for our entire family and we are forever grateful to Dr. Lowenstein for his expertise and his passion to fight for those suffering from migraines and nerve pain. Dr. Lowenstein was thrilled with my sons outcome and so compassionate. I highly recommend Dr. Lowenstein and his staff to anyone suffering from migraines. Dr. Lowenstein is doing very important work and I hope that this surgery will become more well known in the medical community so that more people suffering can find relief like my son has.

I brought them back to Macy's two days after purchasing them, expecting a simple return for a defective product. Instead, the process was frustrating. The cashier who originally sold me the shoes was the one handling the return, but I still had to explain the situation. She then brought out another employee, who inspected the shoes and I again explained that they were purchased just two days earlier and were clearly defective. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. She then had to go check with someone else, and both employees disappeared into the back for several minutes before finally processing the credit. A defective product can happen, but how a company handles the situation matters. This was not a customer-friendly experience, and it certainly did not make me feel valued as a customer. This was my first time physically shopping at a department store in years since I usually shop online. Unfortunately, this experience makes me much less likely to return to Macy's. I am also still waiting to confirm that the refund was issued correctly, since the receipt appears to show a card number that does not match the card I used for the purchase. I hope that gets resolved without further hassle. Not a good way to win back customers.

Long story short, my mom and I (who has since passed away) were shopping at the cute makeup store in Montecito next to Jeannine's. A woman there was helping us, and my mom, who was 86 at the time, told her she had beautiful skin and lips and asked if she saw someone. She smiled, handed my mom Dr. Yegiyants' business card, and that was that. Fast forward about six months. My injector, Melissa (who had been doing my Botox and filler for years), decided to join Dr. Yegiyants' office. I couldn't believe it! I made an appointment for my Botox and was able to spend a few minutes with Dr. Yegiyants. I went in thinking I needed skin removed from my upper eyelids. She walked in wearing the chicest blue leather dress, gently placed her finger just above my eyebrow, lifted it slightly, and said something like, "All you need is this." Then she added, "Not a surprised look..." I was sold. I didn't need to hear anything else except, "When can we schedule it?" About a month later, I had my brow lift. I honestly didn't do much research because I believe that when things align like this, they're meant to be. On the day of surgery, I was dropped off feeling completely at ease. From the moment I walked in, the office felt like family. Everyone there is genuinely kind, warm, and caring. I even had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Yegiyants' husband, who also works in the office. The surgical suite is immaculate, private, and welcoming. Once I was in my cozy pre-op outfit, the nurses kept me laughing and completely entertained. I wasn't nervous for a second. Before surgery, Dr. Yegiyants came in, carefully looked me over, and we reviewed the plan one more time. It was such a comforting moment. She looked like an astronaut in all of her surgical gear, and somehow that made me smile. I went into surgery with a forehead that had always felt heavy. I came out looking lighter, happier, and more feminine--while still looking like myself. I saw Dr. Yegiyants the very next day and returned for several follow-up visits. Everything healed beautifully, and I always felt completely cared for. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Yegiyants and her entire team. They are exceptionally professional, compassionate, and talented. If you're wondering whether you should do it, my answer is yes. You'll probably ask yourself why you waited so long. She takes incredible care of her patients from beginning to end, and I couldn't be happier with my experience.
