I was pleasantly surprised with my meal from Zen Pho & Noodles in Jonesville. I ordered the bang bang shrimp and a sliced ribeye soup (súp tái). The shrimp batter was fried nice and crispy and the oil tasted fresh. The bang bang sauce tastes similar to some store bought brands, which was fine, just not to my preference in taste. I ordered it to go, and thankfully the sauce comes on the side for you to pour over later. I really enjoyed the ribeye soup. The broth was clear and super flavorful. The ribeye slices tasted great as well. I happened to see that they have bun bo hue on their menu, and I'm now looking forward to returning to dine inside and try it! I really enjoy this location of Zen pho and noodles in the Publix plaza in Jonesville. The interior is clean, bright, and welcoming, making it a great spot to stop in for lunch or a relaxed meal. I've eaten here several times, both dining in and ordering takeout for dinner, and the experience has been consistently positive each time. The service has always been wonderful. The staff is friendly, attentive, and very helpful when it comes to explaining the menu and offering suggestions, which I really appreciate. For lunch, everything has come out promptly, and for takeout, the food has always been well-packaged and still hot when I get home. The food itself is consistently good. My go-to dishes are the Pad Thai and the beef bulgogi soup, both of which are flavorful and satisfying. I've also had coworkers order the bang bang bowl, and they've really enjoyed it--it always looks amazing when it comes out. Overall, this restaurant has been a great addition to Jonesville. It's reliable, has great service, and offers a nice variety of dishes. I'm looking forward to coming back more often and trying even more of the menu. read more

Decided to check this place out for early dinner. I knew there were couple other places in other parts of town, but this seemed to be relatively a new one that opened recently. i got their pho, which had sweet savory broth with generous portion. The shrimp for appetizer was also very crispy. Overall, a good option as a quick stop restaurant for Asian food. read more

No clue why people recommend this place. You should never have to spend more money to get what you're supposed to in a bowl. They charge you extra if you want an egg. Want veggies? Another extra charge. Oil? Even more. Those add ons will bring an $18 bowl to $23. Absolutely ridiculous. Now, if the $23 bowl was the best bowl you've ever eaten, I could understand it. But it's not. It may be the best bowl of ramen in Jonesville. But that's about that. In fact, it's not. Go walk 400 feet and buy a crap bag of Ramen from Publix, some spice, and some good broth. Add some veggies and for less than $10 you'll have made yourself a better bowl. The open kitchen is nice... but of course, this also lets you see the chefs just scrolling their iPhones without changing their gloves. read more

First time eating here. Nice, cool, and bright dining room. Yummy smells from the open kitchen. Our server greeted us immediately and let us choose our seats. She took our drink order and made suggestions. I had the Bulgogi rice bowl, my husband #1 Pho Dac Biet. Our food came out hot from the kitchen. The rice bowl was heaping with fresh veggies, kimchi, and bbq. The meat was tender and tasty. The kimchi was mild. The provided fresh herbs tray complemented the food. My husband's pho (pictured) was huge and just how he likes it: brimming with different beef, noodles, and tripe. Our server refilled our drinks and gave my husband a to go drink. I'm putting 2 stars because the pho I ordered ended up having weird particles at the top and I haven't seen that with pho before. So I have to frame this with the fact they just opened less than a week ago and there may well (and should) be improvement. I had high hopes for a new Viet/pan-Asian spot near Tioga where I live but have several complaints. For one, the menu is too extensive and covers too many Asian cultures. It's difficult to believe with the jet-setting menu they could really concentrate on authenticity and quality: rare is it than a wide-ranging and long menu is a good sign at ANY restaurant, for that matter. I had a chicken bun bowl and it was disappointing all around. Some pieces of chicken were barely done--still safe to eat but just barely, some a bit charred as if whomever was manning the grill wasn't paying much attention. The noodles were piping hot and should have been chilled--at least everywhere I've had bun that's the case. A teriyaki sauce was served with the bun which had to be a mistake: I wasn't asked what if any sauce I wanted but teriyaki is certainly not authentic to bun at all. Then there was the service: slow but when the waitress was at my table she seemed rushed and impatient. No one checked on how I liked my food except an older lady who may have been the owner or chef and she literally ran by as if running a marathon and shouted "everything good?" and left before I could even answer. The ambience is nice but they have a bar to sit at yet that's covered with bottles of sauce and seems dedicated to placing to-go orders and not really sitting there. I hate it when restaurants do that: if you make a bar or seating area, let people sit there. Build something else for your to-go station. It's not like the restaurant's been here forever, they just opened it last week so more thought could have gone into how things work. I may try them again, or maybe not. I went home and for my dinner cooked my own bun and it turned out much better. For now, lunch for me will remain at the tried and true Mahzu Sushi down the plaza. read more

Since I live nearby decided to try Zen Pho & Noodles on its soft opening day. I was greeted with a friendly welcome. The inside is small but nicely decorated, it allows for dine in and takeout. I proceeded to place my order for takeout which didn't take long considering it was their opening day. My family ordered the drunken noodles and I had the Udon bowl with tofu, the chicken broth didn't have much flavor but I added siracha which helped. I did taste the drunken noodles which was very good. I will return and try the Pho next or drunken noodles. I am sure this place which is located in a busy plaza(near a Publix) will be a favorite place to eat. read more

The place is charming, parking is easy and service is very attentive. The food is pretty good. Portions are on the larger side - all of us took home leftovers. Calamari was tasty. I loved the pork adobo. They have iced drinks too that are very refreshing in this heat - the mango with green tea was particularly good. This was my first visit to Zen Pho & Noodles in Jonesville Fl. We were waiting on a prescription from Walgreens so decided to have lunch here. I noticed the restaurant was exceptionally clean. Our waiter Jan was very nice and attentive. I ordered a stir fry of veggies, shrimp, in garlic sauce, with a side of white rice. It was perfectly seasoned and not overcooked. I also tried one of my wife's spring rolls and it was amazing. I give the food and service a perfect 10. I plan on coming back. read more

First, the restaurant was spotless clean when we went in. Second, we were greeted by very nice staff and the service staff was excellent as well. Last, the food was excellent, fried vegetable wontons and chicken spring rolls. Spring rolls were better. We both had rice bowls. Each was delicious and the amount given was enough for leftovers.
