Her sports massage was the perfect balance of heavy-handed while still being relaxing, and you can tell she has a real passion for her clients. After the massage, Leah went the extra step of recommending products and supplements (she does not profit from them) showing that she cares about positive outcomes for her clients and not just the massage itself. Had a pretty disappointing and unacceptably unprofessional experience I felt should be public knowledge. I was charged a $50 "no call no show" fee for showing up 30 minutes early to the address listed on my appointment confirmation emails / the business address publicly posted. After ten minutes past my appointment time, i walked to my car and emailed asking for a refund bc she never showed up. I then - for the first time ever - get text messages from her about a different street, address, and entrance that I somehow should have magically known about ..??? This other address is posted no where. So unprofessional and entitled to then charge a low-income client for the business owner's miscommunication. I got the money back through my bank supporting my charge dispute, because she was unwilling to admit her error. Absolutely no healing, humble, or compassionate energy from this place. Experiences like this and stories from others about her personality / unprofessionalism is what leads me to believe she is in the wrong line of work. read more

In search of a real massage practitioner, I was recommended to Leah, and oh man, did I strike gold! Been to a bunch of places which simply told me I have knots in my shoulders but didn't do much to relieve the tension. Leah was very attentive and understood right away what kind of pressure I needed to break up the knots. She says she's heavy handed, which I totally needed. (She is definitely not for the faint of heart - no froufrou BS here). An hour and a half later, I felt light, my shoulders were loosey goosey and I felt like I could spread my wings and fly! She did the fire cupping and used essential oils during the massage which definitely complimented the massage and made the treatment feel like the shabang! ( Recommend getting the massage and cupping combo, it's like eating milk and cookies, you just can't have without the other). Love the space, energy, and conversations had. Leah is so laid back and free spirited, I felt so comfortable throughout the whole treatment. I feel like once you meet her, you'll know what a gem you have found and recommend her to everyone. Well the only knock this review will have is on me for taking so long to write this, seriously. I've sought Leah's treatment for 3+ years and they have run darn near the gamut of her services--with the exception of female-specific services; 1) because well, I'm male and 2) hasn't piqued my interest just yet. Kidding aside, I've experienced: hot stone massage, deep tissue, swedish blend. I've added-on cupping and CBD. She's hit me with a bunch of essential oils. I can't remember half of them but I do remember they smell fantastic and put me in great head space. She's even hooked me up gratis with some ear seeds (acupressure) not only because I was in the midst of one of those life-spoon-feeding-me-the-other-brown-pudding stretches, but also because she is a dope person. It's kinda worth repeating: she is a dope person. And all of her services have been fantastic. I typically see Leah for 90 minute swedish blend massages with a CBD add-on. I am a wildland firefighter by trade (10 years) and masochistic long distance race junky by hobby (13 years); so I think it goes something like... time + somewhat competent human + consistently active = I've come up with a pretty effective method of thrashing my body physically, mentally and emotionally. *Cue Leah on stage left* She is very attentive, considerate and skilled in tending to any "issue" or ailment you approach her with. If you're ever in a mood of: I dunno, I feel wrecked do what you can. Well she also has an uncanny feel for addressing all the aches, pains, tightness throughout my body. If I don't really know what or where but know something is just off, she'll figure it out...and find some knots along the way too. Recently I've been seeing her to help with a lower back injury from work; which by all accounts has been a crappy experience. Yet she has played a huge role on my road to recovery. One thing I love is that I leave our sessions in better shape than when I arrived. And that's isn't hot air coming from my lips going up your you-know-what, seriously. Not only are her services quality but her products are quality as well. She's professional, clean and if that isn't enough for your curious eyes... she's funny as hell. I've always been super picky when it comes to getting massages I feel like it's always the same thing and it's more so in and out type of thing and they don't really care. I've been going to Leah now for about 2 months and each time I go before anything she asks me where I'm hurting, what I want her to work on, and how much pressure I want her to us.
