DO NOT GO HERE I went to this place for my eyebrow threading last minute when I walked by in Stoneridge Mall. There was 0 people there and I was seen right away. I requested a eyebrow threading and filled out the client form since it was my first time at this new location (this moved from the middle of the mall). I was quickly seen by the staff member in the back room. She proceeded to thread my eyebrows as I laid down without washing her hands or wearing a mask. I began tearing up because it was pretty painful. After finishing, she put aloe vera on my brows to ease the burn. After tearing up and finishing, she had no tissue to wipe my face or mirror to let me look at the result. She handed me a rough Kirkland paper towel and charged me. How do you get anyone here to answer a call or return a message? Sad- I was excited to give this place my business and money but I've never had communication this horrible at any spa. I called the phone number on this yelp page twice last Monday- no answer. I noticed it's a 347 number on yelp that is directed to a 510 number's voicemail. I didn't think anything of it since it's common to have a business line direct to a personal phone. I called again on Friday and again- no answer. I looked on the website and noticed a different 510 number. Called the 510-606 number on noon Friday- no answer. I messaged them on Instagram asking how can I talk to someone with questions on booking an appointment online. This spa is appointment only and you can only make an appointment online by putting down your credit card number. Well, there's nothing in the selection for a laser touch up appointment. If I'm required to give you my credit card number to book an appointment I want to make sure I'm booking correctly so I don't get charged for the wrong thing. Finally I receive an instagram message back to call the 510-606 number and I was finally able to talk to someone. She told me for a touch up appointment I have to select the area I want and write "touch up" in the note of the appointment. So I do that and now it's 2pm Friday and I book my appointment online for the following day, Saturday at 12:30. After BOOKING an appointment you then get an email saying your appointment is REQUESTED and someone will call you back shortly. Well it's Friday 2pm and yelp says you're open until 6pm. I never receive a call or email back. I go to the mall anyways the following day assuming my appointment is still okay because on your website I BOOKED an appointment. It's like going to a nail salon- you book an appointment online and it's confirmed. This spa should change their website to REQUEST an appointment not BOOK an appointment. So not to my surprise it's Saturday 12:30, the time I booked my appointment and the spa is closed. I called the 510-606 number and to no surprise- no one answers. I left a voicemail requesting a call back. I still have not received ANY form of communication in return. Just real bad communication and customer service. Maybe revise the number on yelp and change your website to REQUEST appointment instead of BOOKING. It's unprofessional to request a credit card at time of booking an appointment and not show up, or ever call back. It has been 3 days later, and still NOTHING. Salma is unprofessional and not committed to her business which has led me to write this review. At first I was very excited to start treatment with Salma as I am a huge supporter of woman owned businesses. Unfortunately after she rescheduled an appointment 3 times and failed to notify me for the 4th time that she would cancel, I am done making excuses for her. I showed up to the shop only to find it closed. Usually Salma is late so I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and shopped around for an hour but she still did not respond to me or show up. After a week she finally reaches out to me to let me know that she rescheduled the appointment on a date I did not agree to. I let her know that I can not show up to an appointment I had no idea exists. My treatment started in November and I only got 2 treatments done by March. The worst part is that my facial hair has grown back even worse!! I GREW A BEARD with in the 3 months I did not get the service done. I asked for a refund as I am very unsatisfied and was not receiving the treatments in a timely manner. She refused and said all sales were final.
