I read great reviews about this place and I needed a dermatologist. I called several but this one…read morewas the soonest available; they were booking 3 months out. Unfortunately, their Avon location was booked out until the end of the year so I had to go to their South Windsor location. I've been having eczema flare ups and needed to get it resolved. Prior to the appointment, they sent some documents to fill out electronically. I like that because it streamlines the appointment. The building was nice and the parking was spacious. Checking in was easy. I like that they offer late appointments; my appointment was for 5:10 pm. Dr. Waqar and her assistant came in; we discussed my issues. She was thorough and knowledgeable. The appointment took about 20 minutes total. She had a prescription sent to my pharmacy and to schedule a follow-up in two weeks. This time at the Avon location which way closer to me. Overall, a good experience so far. I will review my experience at the Avon location.

Finding a good pediatrician can be hard, and finding an excellent one can be even harder. My…read morehusband, daughter, & I recently relocated to South Windsor, CT from Boston, MA. Nothing is familiar to me here, and looking for a doctor for my daughter was just one of the many new places our family would have to establish ourselves at. Thankfully, our first choice, Dr. Manuel Orta's office, has proved to be an excellent choice. Being in the healthcare field myself, which can often be a thankless job, I think it is important to recognize outstanding professionals. Dr. Orta is patient, kind, and very intelligent. Not only is he excellent with our little one, but he takes the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions & concerns. We have always used Massachusetts General Hospital, and being one of the #1 in the country, it was no surprise we were never disappointed with care from there. I truly did not believe anywhere would match up, but I am so thrilled with the services we have received from Dr. Orta's office. We recommend him to any & all!

My children have aged out of the practice. They went away to college and attended out of state schools, have since married and have even moved out of the country. Now, we need there proof of immunizations I have their baby books with Dr. Sacheti's initials in it but it is not enough for the law school form. And trying to get assistance from the office staff has been very difficult. The office staff has been rude and condescending, and the cost of the overseas call has been fruitless. The print out they gave us was incomplete and when we called for clarification our response from office staff was a horrible and a down right disrespectful experience. My child is about to enter the law school and the application requires exact information. They would not even allow me (the mother) to speak with the doctor personally or even make an appointment with her. I am sure she is unaware of how her office staff has treated a long term patient. We still do not have the information necessary to complete the immunization statistic paperwork.

Although the doctors and nurses are good here, I can't recommend this day surgery center. They…read moreopened their doors late, leaving us standing in the hallway for 30 minutes. There is no public restroom in THE BUILDING AT ALL! First, the prep for a morning procedure dictates you drinking solution from 2:30 to 3:30 am, meaning you get basically no sleep all night, and with the center having no bathroom and not opening promptly, you could easily have diarrhea in your clothes while waiting. Two, I've had many colonoscopies. This is the first time I got a major headache, stomach pain most of the time, had to drink prep at 2:30am, heartburn most of the time and had to vomit, leading to throwing up and diarrhea at the same time. Three, I've always been checked in right away. Here I waited for 2 hours to get checked in. Check checked in, I sat in a chair with a small blanket waiting for over thirty minutes for my procedure. Always before, I was in a bed lying down with adequate blankets. After I was in my gown, I stook waiting for 5 minutes waiting for the nurse to take me to the waiting chair. The nurse never noticed me, it was a different nurse noticed me. I would have stood there for 10 minutes or more. They rush you through recovery and don't offer any food at all. Normally you get offered at least saltines or Graham crackers. I was in recovery for 20 minutes at best, not the 30-40 minutes they stated. Anyone combining with you has to wait outside of the waiting room-and there is no place to wait in the building. There is absolutely no comparison to the Chestnut Day Surgery Center in Springfield where I have always gone before. I really regret the 45 minute drive each way to this center. In addition, it was extremely difficult to communicate with the center. You can do far better than this place! The one woman in reception was rude, and the second one almost so. And the first one lied to me as well. Considering I had a bad headache, had almost no sleep, and felt unwell, leaving me sitting in the waiting room for so long and then checking me in but having me sit in a chair instead of lying in a bed and being cold was not acceptable.
