Great food. One order of fried rice is enough for 2 people with leftovers. Go between 3 and 7 for happy hour, they have cheap Philadelphia rolls, spicy tuna rolls, and their spring rolls (the best I've ever had). We were seated on the tables kind of in the middle which seemed a little compact but for the quality of food and great prices you can't beat it. In all fairness, I used to love their food. I ordered my usual Tom Kha it tasted strange and had a 1/4 of a cup of cooking oil on the top of the soup. Then my friend ordered his usual Beef Pad Thai, it was disgusting. The manager told him, she tasted his dish and it was good, and that his taste buds are not working. Very unprofessional. This manager said some other offensive things. After being seated we waited 10 min. for our server, then over 30 min. for our food. Not that it really matters, but they changed the decor, and I personally like the original design and colors better. They used to have gray and blush color, very classy and trendy. Now it has tacky yellow and blue geometric patterns on the wall. read more

Celebrated a friends birthday here for the first time and definitely the last. We got a brand new waiter for a table of 14 who re-entered our orders after happy hour ended and made us pay full price, brought out the food almost 2 hours later and forgot the birthday girls order. The manager didnt seem to be very apologetic when we complained and offered us free appetizers for the incredible wait instead of discounting our food and letting us leave. We finally left after 3 1/2 hours. Management should have put more people on our table or had someone help the new guy. You just ruined the reputation of this restaurant for 14 people and everyone we know. Good riddance, terrible Thai. read more

Very nice selection of Japanese and Thai foods. Nice sushi bar. I had a bento box that was really good. The prices were good as well.

Downtown location is big and service is good except 2 very major things. First: what is up with all the smoke? I smell like a fried factory when I leave the place. Second: Getting someone to deliver your food or even getting them to pick up after work on a weekday is impossible. I am giving 5 stars because i like their food. read more

Awesome, awesome food! Highly recommend it. First time in Dallas and we came here for dinner! We had a lot of appetizers. I would recommend gyoza, tulip dumplings, and chicken yakitori. To drink we got the sake lychee it is awesome! For dinner my boyfriend had Thai lo mein with beef and category 3. Categories go from 0-5 and it depends how spicy you would like your meal 0 being nothing at all and 5 being very very spicy. I ordered the crab dynamite roll it was a little to much for me, but it was good a little spicy! The server was sweet and very friendly. We will definitely be back, until next time Zenna. read more

It was so good that I kept eating even though I was full and on the verge of becoming a little bloated. My mom got crunchy roll and volcano roll. It was pretty good. Came here a few times , I love it here , Last night My Wife and I came for Dinner. Guess we came when it was getting busy.The hostess was in a panic , but one of the waitresses quickly took charge and was seating or wait listing everyone. When we sat we come to see the waitress who was seating us was our actual waitress. Her name is Aissa, and I gotta say she is probably one of the best waitresses I have ever come across. and I have been in the industry for a long time. She was quick with our refills quick to take our order and check up on us and very cheerful and upbeat. Zenna has a gold mine w/ her there. We ordered 2 appetizers to start off with. The crab ragoon dip is off the hook!!! you can never get enough of it. The Spring rolls are up there also. We ordered a few sushi rolls , she had ordered the Dynamite Roll and Spicy Tuna roll , I ordered the Volcano , EXCELLENT! Came here for a late lunch with low expectations. Ordered Tom Kha soup as an appetizer and the Seagull roll with no cream cheese. When the soup came out I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. It was nice and creamy from the coconut milk but had a spicy kick to it as well, excellent. The roll came out and I had noticed a hair on the wasabi. When I notified my server, she quickly replaced the wasabi with a new one. The roll itself was not bad, nothing out of the world but good enough for its moderately cheap price. I would love to try more food from here next time I'm in Texas. Decent sushi for a student on budget. read more

Their shrimp pad thai is so yummy. It's too spicy for me even though I asked for mild. Nevertheless, still very appetizing and the shrimps are big & fresh. Their midnight roll though lacks flavour and needs a bit of zing to contrast the cheesy ingredient. Reasonable waiting time and courteous service. It's a good place for a casual hangout. read more

The Thom Kha Kai (coconut soup) is so amazing you will want to bath in it!! Also try the crispy spring rolls. There is not much parking here for happy hour, so take Uber. Incredibly cheap drinks, sushi, and tapas until 7. You will need to take Uber home by then anyway. I came here on a summer day when me and my party of 4, and I got the bento pad see eew. They gave me sushi, edamame, a roll, and some chicken( which a choice of veggi, chicken, beef, pork, and shrimp). The roll was good but it wasn't crunchy. The chicken was ok, and the sushi tasted bad. The edamame was was ok but I had to ask for salt. The wait was short which was good because I was hungry. Zenna is our go-to for sushi. They never disappoint on anything and we always leave feeling like we had a great experience. Love this place.

I really want to give this place 5 stars, simply because the food is great and the prices are good, but other than that it is a hot mess. I only go here at lunch since it is next to our office but the service is horribly slow. We haven't figured out if it is servers or the cook's, but none of the food comes out together- it is spaced out by 20 to 30 minutes. People at my table were done eating before I had even started. You have to ask repeatedly for things such as water refills, sauces etc and they just move SO slow. The last time we went for lunch, our food came out 5 minutes before we had to be back to the office and we get an hour lunch. Very frustrating read more

Let me start by saying I am someone that LOVED me some zenna. I came several times a week and told everyone about it. I eat mostly sushi/appetizers etc.. However, since the shutdown a while back.. I have been back only 4 times.. each time longer between because I was consistently let down by one of my favorite places.. but I still kept coming.. The sushi has been made poorly every single time. I wont go too much into detail, but other foods like rice etc have also been coming out spoiled/old. My girl and I are really sad one of our favorite spots is somewhere we won't be coming back to. This place isn't even priced low.. you are paying alot for spoiled/poorly prepared food. I'm only writing this in hopes it turns around.. we may try again in a year or more. People want the old restaurant back and it may not be too late to loose everyone. It used to be sooooo amazing. read more

I've been to Zenna a few times now and have been pleased on each visit. First, I appreciate that they are open late - in Plano, that's a huge plus! Second, the service is friendly and accommodating. While I have noticed service can be slow, that doesn't bother me much in a small independent restaurant. To the food: The lamb chops are delicious - and cheap! They're listed as an appetizer but are really a small meal. They have the best peanut chicken I've ever tasted. The kee mow was good. The Heaven Beef was odd at first sight, but after a few bites became an unexpected hit. One complaint - each time they haven't had mango for their mango and sticky rice! The waitress said they haven't had mango for several months...then take it off the menu! Sometimes I think I might stop at the grocery store and bring my own mango... read more

Came here for a late lunch on a week day. Ordered some Bento boxes. There were not many customers inside, but our food was very slow in arriving. The wait was excruciating since we were quite hungry. When the food finally came, found it to be quite good. The portion sizes were uneven though, with the salad and California roll on the small side, while the entree portion was large. One caveat is that my daughter, who had braces, could not eat the broccoli in the Pad See Ewe because the broccoli was barely cooked. Overall, good value if you have some time to spare. read more
