I'd been eyeing this place for a while and finally took the plunge and stopped today. I should've kept going - I was not impressed. The food was not fresh and was overcooked. Most teriyaki chicken has burnt spots from the grill which is expected. However, the burnt taste took over the taste of the chicken. I work in Richardson but with Covid, I have been working from home in Rockwall. It is unfortunately too far away to pop over and grab lunch. I miss this place. It was so healthy and good! You have options for spicyness, level, which protein you want, what side you prefer. The sticky rice is perfect. The chicken and the shrimp are always cooked perfectly. It is also a very healthy alternative compared to some of the areas nearby like fast food places. The food is cooked fresh along with white rice and steamed veggies in every plate. Along with the healthier meals are the portions, you will definitely get your required caloric intake eating here. They don't hold back on making your plate a good one by filling it with more food. The customer service here is also really good, all of the employees are very kind and generous. They know me when I walk in and already know what I'm going to order so they will definitely remember your face and name! The Ambience is also nice, it is a true mixture of oriental style, with soft music playing in the background. Imagine eating your meal and being serenaded by Michael McDonald haha! This place has been around for few months and has a very local mom and pop vibe. Parking here at busy lunch hour can be a task but if you come little after lunch or at 11 am when they open, you're IN for a pleasant surprise!! The sauce is good but not a lot of it. I also tried their shrimp fried rice $8.05 which was just okay, not really any flavor to it but a good portion size. The shrimp are deveined which is a must.
