I'd been eyeing this place for a while and finally took the plunge and stopped today. I should've kept going - I was not impressed. The food was not fresh and was overcooked. I really love teriyaki chicken so if I find a new place, I am definitely trying it! I ordered a teriyaki plate with rice and veggies for lunch. Most teriyaki chicken has burnt spots from the grill which is expected. However, the burnt taste took over the taste of the chicken. I am sure it's an easy error to make but it seems like it happens often per other reviews. The rice and veggies were descent, and the sauce helped the plate tremendously. I work in Richardson but with Covid, I have been working from home in Rockwall. It is unfortunately too far away to pop over and grab lunch. I miss this place. It was so healthy and good! You have options for spicyness, level, which protein you want, what side you prefer. The sticky rice is perfect. The chicken and the shrimp are always cooked perfectly. It is also a very healthy alternative compared to some of the areas nearby like fast food places. The food is cooked fresh along with white rice and steamed veggies in every plate. Along with the healthier meals are the portions, you will definitely get your required caloric intake eating here. They don't hold back on making your plate a good one by filling it with more food. The customer service here is also really good, all of the employees are very kind and generous. They know me when I walk in and already know what I'm going to order so they will definitely remember your face and name! The Ambience is also nice, it is a true mixture of oriental style, with soft music playing in the background. Imagine eating your meal and being serenaded by Michael McDonald haha! Placed a pickup order for two right when they opened at 11 and it was ready in about 15 minutes, all neatly packaged (utensils and napkins included). We had two orders of the chicken teriyaki and Gyoza which we made sure to drown in the included teriyaki sauce.
