Sadly this framed photo was needed for his funeral. My wife and I met with Adam and explained our situation. We had one week before the services. Adam understood quickly our needs and promptly found the gold colored wood and matting that worked with the photo we had with us. That photo was on my phone. We selected the frame and matting and placed our order. For the actual photo, he sent us a few blocks away to Color Zone to meet with Garo for the enlargement of the photo. Within two hours, Garo had the enlarged photo that we then took to Adam. He promised us the framed photo in four days and actually had it ready in three. The framed photo was beautiful and was displayed prominently at his memorial services. Thank you Adam and his father, Frank for their kindness during a difficult time for me and my family.

Unfortunately, it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. We brought two canvases to be framed and were told they would be ready in about two weeks. When we picked them up and got home, we noticed that one of the frames was not level and had a noticeable bump/defect. We immediately returned it and asked them to fix it. What was most disappointing was the customer service. Instead of simply apologizing and taking responsibility, they seemed surprised that they had missed the problem and started blaming someone else. There was no genuine apology or even a simple "sorry" for the inconvenience. We were told it would be fixed the next day. After three days, we had to call them ourselves because nobody contacted us. The employee then told us it was ready. When I finally picked it up, the worker didn't even acknowledge the problem or offer an apology. For a business that charges a significant amount for framing, I expected much better quality control and, more importantly, much better customer service. Unfortunately, this experience left a very bad impression. We tried to support a local business instead of going to a larger chain, but based on our experience, we will not be going back. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously, because a quality framing business should stand behind its work and treat customers with respect when something goes wrong.

The owner Linda, and her husband have been in business for over 28 years. That tells me it is a quality place. Secondly she was very receptive to our needs and so kind showing us all the artwork and her beautifully arranged artwork for customers to see. It was akin to being in an art museum. Some famous artwork was there and yet she wasn't pretentious or snobby. She was lovely and so sweet to my mom. She also is having an art showing for a famous artist named Koko. His paintings were outstanding and we will definitely be there. She had invitations to it if you would like to pop by and pick one up. The first showing will be Thursday October 22nd from 6-9 pm. The second showing will be Saturday October 24th from 12-5 pm. They are also a few doors up from one of my new favorite restaurants called the Proper. So if you want to have a meal or a drink, they are a short walk east. Look at my photos to get a taste of this little gem in our lovely foothills neighborhood.

Any Size Mirror and Frame popped up at the top of the list based on average star on the review. George's shop has 5 stars. I was able to send a message to get a quote for how much the mirror would be. George responded immediately and proceeded to answer all of my questions. I went to the shop to put down my deposit. George shares a building with a custom frame store. I put down my deposit and picked out my edging for the mirror. George said it would be ready in 10 days. I went in to pick up my mirror today and got into a pleasant conversation about mid century modern furniture (I hope when I'm done it really does look mid century) and he wrapped up my mirror and took it to my car for me. When I got home it is the perfect size for the top of my table. Excellent customer service, and for all you yelpers he even has a yelp deal!
