I have a big issue with the rust proofing inspection increase to 85.00 from 50.00 I already paid for the rust proofing in the beginning . I have been having my Trucks undercoated from Ziebart for over 50 years. It started off with no inspection fee, then they started 25.00, then up to 85.00 You shouldn't have to keep paying for something that already been paid for in the beginning but if you don't bring in yearly for the next 10 years, they will void your warranty If there's a problem with the under coating they should fix it at their own cost. read more

I appreciate the team at Ziebart on Telegraph. When we got our car back from being undercoated we noticed some scraps along the grill. I called back immediately thinking the issue was worse than it actually was. Turns out the white marks were just glue left over from the job but they still bothered to clean it immediately and for free once we expressed our concerns. Do not trust thus place for detailing.the manager is manipulative and lies.talked me into a detailing and said they could take care if the slight oxidation on my roof and was told my scratches would get touched up and i was bringing my own paint. When i git my car the scratches werent touched up.when i called chris said he didnt do touch ups.when i talked to the manager he changed his mind and said it was extra for touch ups.upon further inspection thr roof and hood has scratches, swirts and burn spots, plus my widshiel is cracked..the manager was rude and was msking ecxuses and wouldnt give me the name of his supervisor.i senr an email to ziebart and will pursue thus further..DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE PICK A REAL DETAIL SHOP. read more

If any detail savvy person saw the universal practices ziebart "teaches" I can absolutely guarantee you they would be appalled. My family has been going to this location since the 70s. When we get a new vehicle, we take it there to get it undercoated and typically, the diamond coating as well. In all of that time, I can't remember a bad experience. Now, I'm a guy who will buy a vehicle and will keep it up until it dies or becomes prohibitively expensive to keep, so when a get new one, I want to make it last and get it taken care of as soon as possible. So, I got a new Jeep Cherokee, made an appointment and took it over there. There was a package deal going, so I got the diamond coating for the paint and wheel hubs, the sound deadening (which is the undercoating with additional layers on top), the complete interior (fabric and leather protection) and the glass coating as well. With tax, all of it was just under $1,000. My vehicle had less 300 miles on it when Ziebart got it, so you can be sure there was very little exposure to the elements, before they worked their magic on it. The interior is beautiful and the exterior, with the diamond coating, is extremely smooth and reflects like a mirror. When you run your fingers against the surface, there is a night and day difference in how it felt before they put the coating on and after - and my vehicle was new. As an added plus to the story, I thought I was going to have to leave it over there all day, after dropping it off at 8am but I got a call back around 12:45, telling me that they were finishing up and that I could pick it up at 1:30. Fast forward 3.5 months and I'm really unhappy with the quality of the work and/or the products I purchased. The clear coat around the base of my truck is peeling in the corners and when they sprayed it they sprayed it from the bottom edge up onto the bottom side of the nameplate on my doors....so when it rains any dirt trapped behind the nameplate now funnels into a thin pocket of clear coat between it and the door. Water and dirt just kind of hang out in a little clear coat window. It looks like crap when my car is freshly washed. They should have taped their lines with WAY more precision! The clay polish didn't last nearly as long as they told me it would either. And on top of all that, the window tint....bubbling. Really?! I have yet to call the manager to see if they'll stand behind their work but honestly they had my car for a few days last time and I don't want to go without because of their poor quality work. I'm also not interested in having an experience like Adrianna's. After shelling out over $1200 I expected better service, quality of work and product quality. Got me in on schedule. Went above and beyond what was needed on my truck even helped me diagnose a problem with my vehicle not starting . Pointed out areas that were missed by the undercoating folks at the last Ziebart location. Went ahead and corrected it and no extra charge. Will be bringing my truck back every year for touch up! Ziebart, I was service at the Telegraph location in Dearborn, MI. This was the first time I have had the pleasure of doing business with Ziebart. The manager Vince was very knowledgeable and polite. Not just towards me but also toward all the customers who called and or walked into the location. I have to say that in an era where customer service is a dying art this gentleman restored my faith and hopes that we as people can be polite and customer conscious. 2018 Dodge Ram was going to have just a Rhino liner for the bed. Staff was friendly and provided me with the cost and timing. Reviewed the process and provided me with details of the warranty. Truck was completed on time, but decided to have the front windows tinted. They added the tinting next day, which matches perfected to the rear windows, no bubbles/scratches. read more

I've had a number of vehicles under coated here, ranging from a 6 or 7 years old to brand new. I've always had great, quality service, and the final product has been excellent. I always go back for yearly touch ups. Sometimes I worry about them getting the undercoating material on my interior, but have never been disappointed. I purchased a 2014 Fusion from Pat Milliken on 6/4/2015 and brought my car to Ziebart on 6/11/2015 for rustproofing and window tinting. Why? Because Pat Milliken recommended Ziebart. In between that ONE WEEK, my car sat in a clear garage because I have a second car I am driving until I sell it. I live by myself, no kids, no pets, nothing touched the car. My car had 0 scratches, no body damage whatsoever. I dropped it off at Ziebart the morning of 6/11/2015 and returned at 4 pm to pick it up. I walked around the vehicle to check out the window tint, only to find the rear back passenger wheel well from the tire to the bumper all scratched, and of course that was the first thing I noticed, being a newly purchased car and they were very visible and never there before. Not only was it covered with scratches, there were 2 gashes in it that would not come out with wax that now also needs a paint touch up and buffed to be fixed. I am extremely upset and irate. Not only do I bring this to the manager, Vince's, attention, but he responds by yelling at me, repeatedly, and then says, "I cannot accept your check now because who knows what you will do." Seriously? Not once did I raise my voice at him, I just expressed my concern over the scratches, as anyone would. Regardless, I handed him my debit card, because I'm not that type of person. :) I had to politely ask Vince twice to please stop raising his voice AT ME and that it was extremely rude to insinuate I wasn't going to pay for the services done and to treat me this way after having damage done to my car is disrespectful and unprofessional. I turn my car on and realize 10 miles worth of gas gone from when I dropped it off this morning. He responds with, "Oh those gas gauges are never accurate." What? Never had a problem with them before!!!!!!! Clearly they did what they wanted with my car, as if I wouldn't notice, and then, it is MY fault, and I am scolded when I notice scratches that were never there before. I am totally shocked and upset in 1. how my car was treated and 2. how I was treated. I felt berated, being yelled at by an older man, as if I am a stupid female who has no idea in what condition my car is in. I am certainly not stupid and know my car did not have huge scratches in it upon dropping it off at Ziebart. He did not offer a discount. Instead, he offered to order paint and touch it up for me. I should have left Ziebart excited, instead, I left on the verge of tears being disrespected. I would absolutely never EVER bring my car to this Ziebart again, and will be calling corporate and the BBB first thing tomorrow. I will take this as far as I can. We were very disappointed in the lack of detail on our F150. We had an interior and exterior detailing. It was amateur at best especially for $230. Windows were filmy, interior looked wiped down vs cleaned, dirt still in the door jams, too many items to list. This detail shop seriously lacks its key component, detail. read more

Well I was just checking in on Ziebart and Vince of Dearborn. I see that there are still doing a bad job on most of the work there doing. 3 years ago my truck got new paint and i took it to them the same day of getting it back to get it detailed but it came back with jacked up and Vince told me to bad we didnt do it. I called ziebart and got no where because he's buddy's with everyone a the head office. Must be nice. I see all the complaints on here on going for the last 3 years and nothing has changed. Called the Bibb. Got no where. Vince is always BS and talks the talk but never delivers what the custumer wants. He puts the car dealer's first and every one else last. Way to go Vince. He likes driving customers cars to run his bank stuff and as a chase car back and fourth to the dealer ships. Hope this helps someone. read more

I took my vehicle in for window tint two months ago. I would never come back again for window tinting or any service from them . The tint job is the worst I've ever seen. Two front windows tint had scratches. The two back windows had numerous bubbles and dirt. I asked for limo tint for my back windows and they gave me 28% and said "You'd be happy with the 28". I asked them to retint my back windows and they refused. They retinted my two front windows and they still have scratches on them. Don't trust their reviews on google. That was the reason I went with them because of their good review...and I was dead wrong. The shop was as terrible as their tint job. If you want a good tint job done,and done right, you'd be better off going somewhere else. read more

I finally splurged and bought a new Mazda sport sedan. To celebrate I went and looked for a place to give it the full spa treatment. I checked out Ziebart in Rochester NY since they were around so long I figured they must be doing something right. So here is the honest scoop. I decide on under coating, The lifetime Diamond gloss, car alarm and remote start and a pair of there top of the line speakers. The results? well the undercoating seemed pretty good. The car alarm was installed wrong and made my dash gauges flicker. No remote start but they did an engine clean instead for the same price. The high end Kickers for $200 they promised me were bottom of the line Walmart specials $39 a pair. I looked inside and checked the model #. The expensive Diamond Gloss was sweet looking! only problem was the 2 dings and a large scratch that traveled from my rear driver side panel through the plastic tail light cover. The lifetime Gloss? lasted a year like any other product and you pay to have it done again. That's not what they told me though. I thought my car was going to a spa but it was actually going to a 3 ring circus of sorts. A very expensive one at that. read more

Had a rhino spray on liner put in a truck, as well as an interior and exterior detail, as well as an undercoating on our other family vehicle. All the work was done perfectly! I am rather picky about my vehicles and this is the only location I bring them to (for the past 7 years)! The manager at this shop is always very helpful and on top of things, takes the time to explain what was done and I feel the quality has always been great here.
