Called DSW to notify them. Was told to drop those two pairs at the nearest store and they ordered (supposedly two fresh pairs) from the warehouse. Well, few days later, the replacement shoes came. Exactly the same as last two. They came from the Return Center again, and looked as they've been worn and returned. Took them to this DSW CM location to return. Got excellent service by Rene. Like the associates at the other store location, he agreed that the shoes appeared to have been worn. Rene was very pleasant and courteous. Indeed, DSW always has great customer service. The warehouse, however, needs to be more careful and pay attention to what they send customers. Can't send customers used/worn shoes! Not good. And DSW should not put the returned shoes back in stock and mix them in with new shoes to ship to customers. In-store Customer service: 6/5 Shipping/warehouse: 1/5.

Hillary and Stephanie happily greeted me as I walked in and I immediately felt good vibes and, most importantly, welcome. That can be iffy these days, unfortunately. No worries here! Hillary was my personal "shopper". I shared that I am going to Japan on Monday and looking for some new tennis shoes that are comfortable for lots of walking. I told her I have wide feet and she asked which brands I have worn in the past. They also have this cool pad for you to stand on which shows you, on a computer screen, the way your feet hit the ground and how much pressure you put on the different parts of your feet. It's totally free and pretty awesome. Besides the cool pad, Hillary watched my gait as I walked in front of her and she measured my feet with the old school foot measurer. She then brought out several pairs of shoes, different brands, and a couple different sizes for the Brooks as apparently they run short in length. And my right foot is a half size larger than my left. Hillary knows her stuff! She was absolutely not a "slick" salesperson looking for a commission. She was authentic and real, listened, answered questions, and did not rush me. Decisions can be tough--haha! Wrapping up... I bought a super comfy pair of Brooks tennis shoes as well as a pair of casual "flip flops" that feel like clouds. I have already worn the tennies to go walking for a couple hours and they're amazing. Hillary was right on about the size, right on about Brooks running short compared to other brands. I will definitely go back! They carry many brands of tennis shoes for women and men, sandals, cute boots, etc. I couldn't be happier!

I'm surprised the location was even open to customers under those conditions. What made the experience worse was that management seemed unconcerned about the problem. There was no apparent urgency to address the odor or acknowledgment of how unpleasant it was for customers. A Nike store should not be operating with an odor so severe that customers feel sick being inside. Management should have taken the situation seriously and addressed it immediately. Very disappointing experience.

This time, I came for a special "meet and greet" with inspirational ultra runner, Andy Glaze. The whole event was so well organized. There was plenty of seatings, water bottles available, and the event ran in a smooth, timely manner. Andrea did a fantastic job of organizing the event, and was so friendly to all the guests. She let us know there was 10% extra discount for shopping the same day. Although I did not buy anything this time, I really enjoyed being at Road Runners.
