I had such a great experience at Zion Nail Salon! The staff was quick, friendly, and really took care of me while I was there. I especially appreciated that they weren't pushy about add-ons or upselling, which is honestly rare to find in nail salons. I went in for a basic pedicure ($40) and added shellac for $20. I personally think the price is very fair for the service and quality. The salon itself is beautiful inside--clean, modern, and relaxing. So far I've only tried a pedicure, but I'm already looking forward to coming back to get my hands done here soon, and maybe even try a waxing service. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a salon that's welcoming and professional! read more

I was attended by Ryan and I was very pleased with his work and the overall experience of the nail salon. It was my first time getting my nails done after years since I gave two kiddos. The salon was super clean and beautiful; they accepted me as a walk and I didn't make much of a wait time. The price was very affordable so I will be sure to return! The pictures of their work portfolio were all over the salon and it looked amazing; so if any of you are interested in detailed nail art, I'd recommend giving this place a try :) read more

This nail salon is by far the best i have ever been to. The ambiance is amazing, It's super clean very welcoming. They always make sure they have the right tech for your desired design. I have gone here twice so far and have been pleased both times. The people are so nice, the atmosphere is calming and clean. I schedule my nail appointments online but if you walk in you won't wait too long because there are a lot of nail techs. I go with Carol for my nails, she is great, friendly, and does amazing work! I found this gems on My side of town. I didn't have an appointment just walk in and it was a very busy afternoon. The hotesse be like I will find you someone. I want to have a pedicure. I visited for the first time and the salon itself is very clean, welcoming, and friendly. However, I was surprised by several parts of my experience. For the pedicure, the chair didn't heat the water, and after about 15 minutes they had to use an electric kettle to warm it. I then waited almost another 20 minutes before any pedicure steps continued. My nails weren't clipped, calluses weren't addressed, and the massage was extremely light. The polish selection was great, but the paint job wasn't very consistent. For my manicure and nail set, the final result was pretty and well-shaped, but it wasn't what I asked for -- even the colors ended up very different from the reference. I did really like the clear, thin press-on style they used, but I wish the airbrush work had matched the design I showed more closely. Overall, the staff was kind, and the space is lovely, but the timing, technical consistency, and attention to detail weren't what I expected for a first visit. read more

Always great customer service. Clean business and they have so many people working that there's hardly ever a wait. I do recommend getting there earlier in the day or making an appointment because it does get busy quickly but I've never had a long wait even as a walk in. They charge to use debit or credit but also take Zelle and had an atm on site. Very small parking lot. read more

Edit. The asked to make it better and they did. They were very nice about it. I'd return. The actual pedicure was great. Care did. A good job with the cuticles, massage, etc but the paint job is not great. Once my nails dried I could see the full effect and it's not good. Unseen lines and different amounts of paint. She cleaned them up so I assumed they would be well done but they weren't. The inside is nice and large. They are friendly. I recently moved to the area and wanted to try this salon out. I've been to Zion Nails and Waxing twice so far. I get my nails done faithfully every 3-4 weeks and have been doing so in the San Antonio area for over 14 years at top-notch salons in The Dominion, Stone Oak, Medical Center, Cibolo, and beyond. I've never had an issue paying for quality service, but I do have a concern when it feels like I'm being "nickeled and dimed." I wear my natural nails in a stiletto shape, and they are not excessively long. During my last two visits at Zion Nails and Waxing, several additional $5 charges were added(for basic services and no designs) bringing my total to about $25 more than I've ever paid anywhere else in San Antonio for essentially the same services. Before I commit to returning and before I recommend this nail salon to people in my network, I wanted to better understand the pricing structure. I politely asked for clarification on the fees. They were polite in their explanation of the additional and excessive fees and I appreciate the explanation. However, I also understand that I have many other options. read more

I don't get my nails done often but I asked for coffin shape and this is what I got. I had someone apply acrylic toenails and another tech apply my fingernails and I told them to make my feet and nails the same color and they didnt. My experience here was excellent. The vibes were great! Very light atmosphere good jokes with everyone and drinks! Very clean and everyone was being helped in a timely manner. The work I saw being done , Omg they do great work here from glam to for example me.. plain. Lol Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Some nail salons just do whatever they want with your nails regardless of what you ask& make me nervous but Zion.. not at all. I've never been more happy with a nail salon. Today I decided to go to Zion nails after a friend recommended to get my pedi done here! & let me just say I was impressed the minute we walked in. We were sat immediately in the pedi chairs and the manager came up who was very sweet. This is my 3rd time going to Zion nails and waxing and I will continue to come. The Customer Service is unmatched! Vy and Kenny (the managers) are always so attentive and making sure all the customers needs are met, they check in, and constantly make sure you are satisfied. My nail tech 2 out of the three times that I came to the salon was Cody and he is wonderful! He slayed my nails both times and he will definitely be my go to tech. For me good Customer Service goes along way and will keep me coming back to this establishment! The ambience of the salon is beautiful nice and clean. While I respect that every salon has the right to operate according to its own policies, that approach does not align with my expectations for safe nail removal and the health of my natural nails. We simply disagreed on what constitutes proper nail care. What is particularly disappointing is that after our conversation, the owner's public response to my review appears to have been removed. Customers deserve transparency, especially when a business publicly acknowledges a concern and then later removes that acknowledgment. I appreciate that the owner initially reached out, but the conversation did not address my concerns, and my experience remains unchanged. For that reason, I stand by my review and my decision not to return.
