Was told by an employee I should go to the ER for a stitch because they are backed up doing testing. I had just come from an ER because I was told to go to urgent care for non-life threatening things. This clinic is prioritizing testing (which I have no issue with in itself) and not able to take in clinic patients. Find somewhere else to go if you need actual care. Glad some people have had a pleasant experience here. My experience was closest to Amber's review. Could have just been an off day. Or I don't understand the idea of urgent care. The staff was more concerned with Tinder and texting than seeing me, who was the only person inside waiting to be helped on a Saturday morning. Explained what I was hoping to find out and was given blank stares. Not even given a list of other locations to visit or alternatives! If you need a flu shot, sliced your finger open, or need a few pain pills this is probably an excellent spot. If you want anything technical done as far as imaging or speaking to a professional that isn't in an ER or full on Hospital/Doctor's Office this isn't the place for you. Didn't pull up in a trashy car or wearing trashy clothes. I have a decent job and my own insurance but I felt I was treated very unprofessionally. read more

Besides being clean and empty I was very disappointed with our short experience here. We came in on a Saturday morning to have my partner's shoulder looked at including an x-ray. Already walking in there were two staff just on their phones. Yeah it's a weekend and a morning but it's not swamp. I didn't feel like they took pride in their work. My boyfriend went to the counter and explained briefly what he needed. First they said they can see him, and then they asked what he actually needed. He mentioned an x-ray and then said they can't see him. And that was it. No suggestion to where else to go. The staff was short and not helpful. They did not seem to know how to handle a simple shoulder injury. Just an odd and short experience. I would probably only go here for a simple cold, not related to a broken arm or sprained ankle. This place is horrible, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. We went in October 2020 for a COVID test. We had to sign up and come back the next day, which was fine cause I was just trying to get in ASAP as we had recently been around people that were positive. We came at our scheduled time and sat for a long time waiting in a line of cars until you get to the front where you can park. The first employees were very friendly. At the parking spot the employee that finally came out did lot really care, and was cleaning up inside for a while before coming back out to help anyone. We finally got test and we're on our way. We never got contacted about our results. If you try to follow up with them, they don't answer. They ask you to fill out a form and they will call you back ... which they never did ... Why am I reviewing them now? Well, they sent us a bill not long ago asking for insurance information or payment for one person in the family car that day. We responded with insurance information and just today got a call from collections. Recently a close friend of mine took ill and we used the ZCUC as she was concerned about having the dreaded Flu. We found this place on line and had a very pleasant experience here. The staff was very helpful and efficient and expedited her care as soon as we arrived. Dr James Porter attended to her and we found his care very thorough and complete. He was very patient and empathetic and we feel we were very lucky to have him attend to us. It is really reassuring to know that such good medical care is available to us right near where we reside. Hopefully we don't fall ill but if we do we will definitely be using ZCUC. Keep up the good work! read more

I have not been to the doctors/hospital in over a year and a half. I came to this urgent care looking for treatment. I literally paid $75 dollars for them to tell me to take Ibuprofen and throat lozenges "ones that taste good" I don't care if my strep test came back negative. I'm sick as hell and over-the-counter drugs were not working. The reason why I came into the urgent care. Don't waste your time like I did this morning. The check in or make appointment online for covid testing is easy and user-friendly. They respond very quickly to me via facebook messenger for my questions. Don't call their ph# b/c they won't pick up. Understandable considering how BUSY urgent clinics are lately. So if you have a question, go to their facebook page, like their page then send them a message. The staff at this place are great, knowledgeable, professional (Megan, Amber, Ashley) Thank you! I made an appointment online stating that I needed some testing done and called before hand to explain that it wasn't covid test but they had me wait in the covid line because they thought it was covid testing! This clinic lacks efficiency and rushed through your care. I would recommend seeking another urgent care if you are able. The clinic opened 5 minutes late at 8:05am to a line of waiting cars. The first patient was t seen until 8:43 of which 40 minutes was the staff inside with no communication to the patient. Once I got to the top of the line (meaning I get to wait in a 6-car parking spot), they still ignored me even though I followed up with other texts, had an appt, etc. The bottom line is that they only had 2 people running the show during a pandemic. He didn't go to get a covid test but they told him he still had to wait in the covid testing line. So what's the point of making an appointment to be seen by a dr just to wait in a 2 hour line? This place is right by my house and I always forget to come here when I have an urgent medical issue. But when I do come, I've always been given immediate relief and proper treatment. The most recent visit, I was plagued with a skin allergy that they recognized right away and was able to give me something to calm it down and to hold me over before my visit to the dermatologist. The doctor who saw me was super concerned and compassionate. I will definitely remember to use this clinic more in the future as urgent care arises! read more

This is the worst healthcare facility I have ever been to. I am a nurse and was disgusted at how this facility handles their covId testing. Made and appointment on line, filled out paper work, texted as instructed when I arrived. No response from the staff. cars lined up, no one testing. It was ridiculous. If this is what a response to a pandemic is then we are in big trouble. I have set up testing centers and they were organized with all hands on deck. I saw sitting at the desk, no one testing totally disgusting. Do you have no pride in what you do? Do you have a work ethic? The staff is doing all they can, but the Covid testing service is lacking. They're not honoring online appointment times. My test was scheduled for 307 pm and I arrive at 230pm and was not seen by a nurse until after 430. This affected my work and home schedule greatly which was not expected for a 15 minute procedure. The assistant didn't seem to know what she was doing, and the doctor was very rude. She wasn't patient with me and she yelled at me to the point where I started crying. The Zipclinic off 72nd and Sheridan is amazing! I've been sick with a severe sinus infection and bronchitis and have gone there twice, in the last 2 weeks. The front office staff is nice and helpful, there's always someone sitting at the desk every time I walk in, and the assistant and PA's/Drs are very thorough, compassionate, empathetic, and kind. Unlike other urgent cares, this one has little to no wait time. The longest I've waited is 10 minutes. Today was my second visit there and I was called back within two minutes, seen by the PA, prescribed antibiotics, and out of there, all within 15 minutes. I definitely recommend this urgent care to everyone! They take every insurance carrier and if you have no insurance, their fees are very minimal. read more

During my visit I dealt with a very unprofessional staff . Very UnorganIzed and not very knowledgeable of the steps on receiving covid testing results . They have to speak with several staff members to answer questions . Unfriendly young girls with a lot of unprofessional attitude . Poor Communication skills. It seems like it's ran like a circus. Then to top it off , they charged my credit card a month later without my authorization . Never even received a letter to notify me of any balances . The billing lady said As long as they have my credit card number in their possession they are authorized to charge my card. Received a call from my son's daycare saying he had a 103 degree fever. Instead of taking him all the way to his pediatrician I decided to stop by the Zip clinic. I have had previous experience with them and I have always been able to get in and out in under 45min, which let's face it isn't possible at a doctor's office even with an appointment. I already had a pretty good idea of what was wrong with him. A very nice EMT came in and took all his vitals and did the standard million questions. 2 minutes later the doc showed up examined my little man and confirmed that he had a nasty ear infection in both ears. In and out in 25min and everyone was super nice. For a 'doc in a box' as I call it, it was good service. I will definitely go back if I am in a pinch! read more

Pretty bad experience overall, I just took my 12 year old in for treatment to really bad cough/cold symptons. The physicialns assistance wasreally rude and condesending and did not offer treatment plan. Took our 50 dollar co pay and said to go home and stay isolated. No prescription, no recommendation but just unprofessional. The Dr. then told me there is no way my symptoms were from the huge spider bite on my leg and that I just had a cold. The very next day my body expelled the venom and I instantly felt better! I have a cold, and after a week I feel worse, not better. Went in, great admin, nurse and PA. They gave me some treatments and then had me hang out for a bit to make sure I was starting to feel better. Most urgent care is about people in/out with little regard to putting in the time to make sure I was making improvements. The facility is a little old - but clean and functional. Don't waste your time or money. My wife and I went here for a test on Sept 25th, and never got the results (as of Oct. 4th). They won't answer phone calls, return messages, or respond to requests for the test results. We have even filled out the on-line request for test results (twice) and they never responded. read more
