Difficult to contact Customer service because always need to give them message called 10 times might get human 1 time and get nothing info. My internet service went our on Friday, Sept. 30th and I began calling the 800 number and two local numbers I had for "support" and "sales." I didn't receive a response for 5 days! A tech came out on Tuesday, Oct. 4th, couldn't fix the problem, and said that he would send another tech out that same day. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM ANYONE DESPITE LEAVING MESSAGES EVERY DAY! I finally arranged for a new server on Monday, Oct. 10th and sent an email to Ziplink to come pick up their equipment. THEY SENT BACK AN EMAIL THE NEXT DAY TO SCHEDULE THE EQUIPMENT PICK-UP! We have had Ziplink internet service for several years because when they say no limit, they mean no limit. Have had to call for service a few times. Without fail, they have been able to fix the problem as soon as possible. Very nice people over the phone and in person. Glad they are in our area. read more

We moved to La Vernia, TX from San Antonio at the end of Apr 2020. As we were checking to see what internet services were available, we found that Ziplink was the only one available for our neighborhood [at that time]. We went to sign up, had to make 4 phone calls just to get Ziplink to call back so we could get signed up. We subsequently signed up for Ziplink and they installed the equipment and provided service. As of Wed 8 Jul, we were without internet service. I attempted reset/unplug, etc of the router-- no luck. I called Ziplink at 800-281-4947 at 334pm 8 Jul. I was on hold for about 6 min, then left a message & call back number. I did not hear back on 8 Jul. I called twice on 9 Jul-- 8am (on hold 4 1/2 min, then hung up) and 812am (on hold 8 min, then left a message & call back number. I received a callback at 835am 9 Jul. The rep went through some remote diagnostics and troubleshooting with me, with no success at restoring my internet service. I was told by the rep I spoke with that the ticket was being elevated to "critical". I heard nothing from Ziplink the rest of the day until I called back and spoke with a rep at 335pm. I was told that the lead technician had been assigned the ticket at approximately 1035 the morning of 9 Jul. I was told the lead technician would contact me or my wife. We heard nothing from the lead technician or anyone else from Ziplink on Fri 10 Jul. Sat 11 Jul we had to go into San Antonio. While we were there, we had a missed call/voicemail around 12 noon from the lead technician (this occurred more than 48 hours after he was assigned our "critical" ticket). The voicemail stated that he was going to be in the office for another 30 minutes and if we didn't get back with him we could call back on Mon. He left 2 phone numbers to call back. My wife called both numbers later Sat afternoon 11 Jul and also on Mon 13 Jul. Both times the first number went straight to voice mail and the second number was non-functioning [auto busy signal]. Somehow, we had internet service again on 15 Jul. We were without internet service for 6 days. We also have gone with another provider. Today 16 Jul, when we called to cancel our service with Ziplink, the rep mentioned that in addition to our ticket being elevated to critical, a note was added to the ticket to get management involved. Apparently they didn't care. The rep also mentioned that the lead technician said he had tried calling us this morning, yet we had no missed calls or voicemails. Interesting... Bottomline-- I don't recommend Ziplink to anyone. They are unresponsive and don't seem to care about the customer or what kind of service they provide. If I were to rate our experience with Ziplink on a 1-5 level, 5 being the highest, I would give them a NEGATIVE 5. read more

Do not use ZIPLINK. I am paying for a 20 down 10 up service plan. I have yet to get 7 down and 2 up constantly and the customer service is horrible. The connection is awful, when the internet works. Whenever we called, our questions were never answered. I would never hear back from anyone. You can never reach a person at the customer service number. You have to fill out a support ticket through a web portal but no one ever responds or gets back to you and they close the ticket. Stay far away from this company. My husband and I have been trying to get Internet out at our place for months. Unfortunately we live where hardly any service is available, but Ziplink is supposed to be one of the providers in the area. We have both tried calling and they either don't pick up the phone or say they will call us back within 24-48 hours. This has happened 4 times and we still have not received a call back. Many of our neighbors say they had the same issue and had to go with someone else or no internet at all. I don't know how this is a business if they don't take on customers. Really bad service, they did an upgrade to their system since dec 6, 2016, I have had intermittent internet and was told they would call me back. i have called about 10 times and still get the same result...no internet! they came out to make adjustments two times and still can not get any service. I was told last week that it was escalated to tier 2 and that i would get a call back in 48 hrs, and as of yet 6 days later still no call. I called today and was told that it had been highly escalated and that this time someone would call me back. Lets see how important i am as a customer. They charge ahead 1 month and I called and it says to hit 3 for payments or billing and then the line cuts you off!
