They say they guarantee 100% satisfaction. Well, don't believe it. I went back because the lower part of my truck on both sides was still very dirty. Since I didn't complain at the time of the first wash, they would not take care of it. Sorry if I didn't see it while it was still wet coming out of the first wash due to the inadequate dryers they have. If you have been there you know you're pressured to get out of the wash and drive off since other vehicles are close behind. So, it's really hard to check right then and there. Anyone with decent eyesight could see that the car wash missed those areas. Everywhere else was still clean. The woman there would not even consider taking a look at what I was talking about. Zippy's probably has the best drive through car wash I've ever been in. It's also the most expensive one. So expensive that I cancelled my monthly subscription after a month. Now I only go there a few times per year. As an alternative to the unlimited monthly payment plan they have a per visit payment alternative which is also expensive. Payment is made via a machine. As I recall, the machine has a picky trait like it doesn't give change, or only allows credit cards, or something like that. read more

Zippy car wash has two young lady's that are the best workers. They are Allisa and Taylor. When I go through the car wash they rinse my car from the front to the back. I, have a new Lincoln with burgundy paint. I, thank you both because you are the best. I, also thank Susan the manager on the shift the lady's where on. I been using this car wash for five years and have no complaint about the wash or racism. Sorry the vet had this problem. There are always going to be attitudes about others out there. I know there hard to ignore. But fortunately I have never had a problem other than my own stupidity. read more

Convenient location, but I've been consistently disappointed. My car never seems to get clean, and they don't pay enough attention to spraying under difficult to clean areas like under the rear spoiler. The line is always so long, that it's not really worth going through again to re-wash. I've just come to expect that I'll have to go back and clean areas requiring more attention myself. I wish there was another, better option. I also came through once and all of the brushes were off (?!?!?). I pulled around and came into the office, but no one was there. A few minutes later, and employee came in and I told him the brushes were off. His eyes opened THIS BIG and he literally RAN inside to reset some electrical switch without me finishing my sentence. Probably 10 cars had come and gone through in the time that I was waiting. The guys spraying cars at the door hadn't noticed, and no one else turned around to come back through. Just weird. I wish there was another convenient option close by, because I'd love to give my business to someone else. Better than having salt all over my car, but not sure it's worth the harsh detergents, scratches in my paint, and leftover dirt. read more

Great wash for the money. I'm on the monthly plan so for less than $40 per month, I can drive through as much as I want. Needless to say, the vehicle is always clean and I don't have to stop to use a credit card or feed in cash. My only complaint is that the rinse does not adequately clean the side view mirrors. I have a bad crow problem where I park, so I guess you could say I have experience with a fair share of car washes in the Ann Arbor area. The thing that sets Zippy Auto Wash apart from other car washes is that you do not actually talk to a person before you go through, but rather you pay an at an automated machine-- very handy for people who like to pay with card and for those people who shy away from interactions with others. Unfortunately this meant that I could not specify that I would pay whatever it cost to get all the bird poop removed from my car. I went through the car wash once, but it didn't remove everything, so I called and politely made the workers aware of this. They let me go through the car wash a second time for free and made sure to get everything off that time! This place was recommended to me by a friend, but I don't see the appeal. I sat in line for an hour, only to get my car partially cleaned. Afterwards, the license plate area was dusty, and there was still bird poop on my car, now baked on. read more

I don't recommend. The $7 car wash did not get my car clean. Went through another time with the platinum wash (because that's what I was offered because the first wash was unsatisfactory) and that was better but still didn't get my car totally clean (there were still streaks on sides of car and some blotches on windows.) I will not go back. read more

The employees here are friendly and do a great job. The owner on the other hand is another story. We were visiting from out of town and had driven cross country so you can imagine the amount of bugs that were on the car. We asked that they pay special attention to that area and get it as clean as possible. The girl was a little too ambitious with the power wash wand and ended up too close removing the clear coat from the bumper . When we reached out to the employees who told us to contact the owner at his personal email for a claim. Today is 2 months later and I've never received a response, a sorry about your luck, nothing. I have even reached out by phone and still nothing . So now after paying $14.00 for a car wash I have to pay $500 to have my bumper repainted on a 1 year old car. I have a huge amount of family that live in this area and have made sure they all know of the business ethics this man chooses to run here. Hopefully this will help any of you who are considering getting your car washed here. You might want to think again. read more

It used to be MUCH better when it first opened but over time it has steadily declined in quality. Every time without fail that I go there now I leave with stuff still all over my windshield and no hope for my front end to be clean. I am so disappointed and hate the waste of money it is. read more

pre-wash spray needs to be brought back this is a must for my jeep wrangler there are place that the car wash does not reach and leaves dirt/ mud on my running boards and in the fender wells.... i was told it was a new n.c. insurance law for 2016 that employees can't touch our cars... but autobell still hand dries your car.... tell me what is the difference in water from sprayer touching your car and a hand towel drying your car.... come on mr. zippy's bring back the pre-wash spray to cut down on the swirls from the dirt not being rinsed off this causes more damage to our cars than pre wash would ever do. as far as employee touching our cars.... they do not the water does.... this needs to be fixed. read more
