We have used this car wash approximately a dozen times over the past year or so. We usually purchase a mid-grade wash, not the basic or the very top. I would say that it does a relatively thorough job of cleaning. They don't use a hose for prewash and I think that is probably why I spend extra time on the tires when we move to the detail lot. The detail lot always has carts with plenty of freshly cleaned, still damp towels, as well as sprays for disinfecting, glass, and interior. The vacuums have never disappointed. There is PLENTY of suction and they do a great job of getting carpets thoroughly clean. I will say that I was VERY pleased to see the mat cleaning bay was open after months of being out of service. There are two entry lanes, one for subscribers and one for non-subscribers, I represent the latter. An ATM-esque kiosk greets you with several choices, rather than scroll and scroll I was pleasantly greeted by Zips associate Marshawn, who blends professionalism with next-door neighbor friendliness making user-experience very smooth. The wash did an excellent cleaning my [new] car after a 1000 mile road trip. Post wash Zips also provides patrons with a very large selection of vacuum stations; there's more than ample room on both sides of the car while providing greater than average vacuum power. i used to come to this zip's very often because i worked nearby. i got a new job, so this weekend i thought i would go out of my way for old time's sake because i had had so many good experiences! unfortunately i was disappointed. i tried 6 vacuums and they did not work (they made a sound but could not vacuum up anything) there were only a few towels out and they were dry. they no longer have an interior fabric spray, which is one of the main things i used. unfortunately i think i will be using a different car wash from now on. the staff still seem nice and helpful, i would guess something is going on with management or the company as a whole. read more

I went through this car wash a week ago and noticed when I got home the exterior of my car felt grimy and gritty, like whatever coating they used was just spattered on. I was concerned it messed up the paint job permanently but thankfully it came clean when I went to a REAL car wash, a much better one in Holly Springs. I'm unable to recommend anything about this service other than it's location. I signed up to be a member almost immediately after this location opened. it opened originally as a Fins and had Majestic detail solutions and a very friendly staff. they would say hi as they stopped around to check on you and assist with drying the car as they chatted. since this location has turned into a Zips everything has gone down hill. none of that happens anymore. To start, the license plate reader on what is labeled the "members lane" never works. half the time they just buzz me through from the office. last week as I sat in line in the "members lane"another vehicle pulled into the left hand lane and passed right through as I sat in a long line. extremely frustrated, I asked the staff and was In formed that both sides work for members. Nice! The detail solutions are now water. The mat wash station is NEVER open due to them "waiting on parts" for what amounts to a simple pressure washer attached to a million dollar car wash building, AND the place is dirty and inefficient. you will most likely need to search through 2-3 vacuums to find one that's not clogged. last time i was here the vacs weren't on as it was a dismal day and they don't turn them on unless there is volume. (guessing) On top of that, today, (Friday) the place is closed due to mechanical issues. I've suffered through all of these disappointments and price increases because the location is amazing. I would not recommend spending your money here and wI'll have to cancel and drive a few more miles to find a company that takes some pride in their customer service. this location simply need some management that cares enough to get on top of their game. read more

We moved into the area a few months ago and have been using Zipps since. This location was the first one we tried and while not the most convenient, so far it is the best. I can't comment on some users reporting their car being scratched because both of our cars are entirely wrapped in Xpel and doesn't much suffer scratches from rocks at highway speed much less a car wash but I have thought the car could come out cleaner. A pterodactylus crapped on the hood and when I went through the car wash the next day, the girl? working the car wash didn't bother to use the wand sprayer to pre-treat it. She also can't direct you left or right to line your tire up, she always just crunches up her fingers and makes the same gesture whether I need to adjust left or right. I usually cringe because I know, I'm gonna be off the mark. On the plus side, they always have an abundance of the clean cloths, plenty of spray bottles of each cleaner and the vacuum suction is always great. It always has the same great vacuuming power regardless of how many hoses are in use. If I am forced to use just this location in part because the FV locations sucks, I might not keep the unlimited plan. read more

Well Zips has done it again. They decided to raise the monthly fees from $5-10 for each car wash plan without any type of notice or posting. Most people won't notice the increase, because it is directly billed, but according to the employees they did not tell them either. I'm not going to support a business that increase prices for monthly memberships without notice, so I canceled all three of my memberships. read more

They stopped pretending to prewash your car. Now the pressure wash station for the mats is out of order and closed. One of the workers implied that it's expensive to fix so they haven't tried. The Carwash part used to be decent but now it leaves behind dirt that wipes off with a finger swipe. So what's the point? This place opened with a different name/owner then apparently was sold. Originally it was amazing!!! Great staff, quality was excellent, service was exceptional, the price was good- it was a great value! NOW!!! It is terrible!!!! Staff never come out of the building, the people that work there would rather be anywhere else ! The young people that work there do nothing and have bad attitudes!! Never see a manager that probably explains the staff ! They had an unannounced price increase ($10.00/month increase) for members. No email, no notice. Often do not have drying clothes or all supplies out. They sprayed the front and rear of your car as you enter the wash to pre soak bugs on the front of your car - do not do that now. When I went in to ask why I was told just ask if I want it. I explained it was part of the service and I should not have to ask! Twice I have asked on my way into the wash: once the man ignored me and the second time the little girl working let the track pull my car forward and then laughed! Never spraying my car. I get infuriated when I go now!! Needles to say - cancelled my membership! It was such a convenient and great place when it opened. Do not waste your money !! read more

There was no 0 rating, so I gave it a 1 which is too high! I had my car washed there. While in the wash area, I heard a loud pop and wondered what that was. When I got out of my car, I noticed the antena cover had been ripped off of my car. The manager flat out refused to take any ownership in what happened. He said "It's not my problem". I reported them to the BBB and they still wouldn't budge. To have the shark fin replaced was $189.00 and the labor was $555.00 for a total of $744.00....the company would not remimburse me the charges nor would they return the $25.00 I paid for the car wash. They told me that antennas are not covered! Well, a little hard to remove a factory installed antenna! But the car wash had no problem removing it for me. I drove in with it on and left without it. I want to recommend this place but I don't at the same time. When I moved to the area two years ago, this place was great. Fresh towels, great smelling sprays. Long lines, but an indicator of a great place for a car wash. Fast forward to the new management running this place - the towels smell like mildew, the sprays are so watered down that you can't smell the "new car smell". Went in last Sunday, 30 minutes before closing and the pressure washing station was already closed up. The workers started to take away the carts 15 minutes before closing. Talk about disrespectful to your customers still there finishing up the final details. I used to come here every few weeks for a $5 car wash. Last time I went, the cheapest wash was $12 and was told re: the $5 option, "That was just a promotion." Funny since that wasn't ever advertised as a promotion and was around for at least a year. To make matters worse, it appears the power washer for the mats (the 2nd biggest reason I would come there) is no longer available. Since being under new ownership, the quality and service have gone down. I have new scratches, and the car is hardly clean anymore. They talked me into buying a membership when it first sold to Zips. They told me it would be $10 month for 6 months, then it would be $29.99. After 3 months they started charging my card $34.99/month. I couldn't call and cancel, I had to go in. The young man I spoke to said he would take care of it. The next month it was charged again, and I returned and spoke to a "manager". He said it would be resolved, and my card was charged AGAIN. I have not filed complaints with my credit card company and had to block them from charging my card again. read more

Highly unprofessional attendant was anger issues. I've been coming to the facility for over a year and would drive to Raleigh just to use this facility. The attendant this morning was terrible and made me feel very unsafe. He began to yell at me through my car window when I didn't get my tires aligned the way that he wanted to. After a couple of attempts and not getting it right, With him continuing to yell at me, he started banging on my driver side window to roll it down. When I wouldn't do that, he proceeded to follow my car into the car wash. I will never use this company again, nor should anybody feel unsafe, coming to car wash in Holly Springs. read more

This location used to be a Heroes Car Wash and was great under the old ownership. The equipment seemed well maintained and my car always came out clean and dry. Once zips bought the location, the equipment seems to be broken half the time, is very rough on the car, and my car often comes out very wet with soap still on it and it costs basically the same as AutoBell! The vacuum equipment also always seems much dirtier than when Heroes owned the location. Save your money and your paint job and go to AutoBell instead. read more

Have been coming here for the past year and enjoyed the use of the free vacuums (or so I thought) and didn't realize you had to go through a single-wash or have a membership to use them (that's my bad). Everyone in the area always told me that you didn't need anything to use them and could just pull up, vacuum your car, and leave. Although, today I pulled into a spot and before I could even reach my car with the vacuum, a middle-aged man wearing a company shirt walked up to me with what I thought was a marketing attempt to get me to go in the car wash. I realized quickly that was not the case, and that he was saying to me "you think this is free?" and "you have to get a car wash to use this, and if you aren't you need to leave" with such a rude tone and proceeded to make me feel about a foot tall even though I had no clue the vacuums were only for people who got a car wash or had a membership. Obviously I thought this was free since I've been using it for free for the past year without anyone saying a word to me?! I've read the reviews and most of them aren't great, which is another reason why I'll never return here. I acknowledge that it's my fault and I was in the wrong since I had no idea I needed a membership or a car wash to use the vacuums but that's no excuse for the way that he talked to me and addressed the situation! No, I can't recommend this place. I seem to find new scratches on my vehicle every time I go through it! The latest one is a deep gash on my paint job (down to metal) and when I approached the attendant asking him to review the footage, he had every excuse as to why it couldn't possibly be from the car wash. Dude, my vehicle is one year old, 90k, and I baby her so I would have noticed a scratch like this!! He proceeded to tell me that it would "take too long to look," but when I mentioned I've had it done before and it took less than 5 minutes he chuckled (yeah this is real funny ) and said he's not good at looking through the footage. We'll figure it out! I had to leave to pick up my children from school so I couldn't press him further, but let him know I would be coming back and would expect to view the footage of my vehicle entering and going through the wash. Well, to my surprise when I called the number listed to confirm I'd be back so they could have the footage ready - the phone line is disconnected and no new number is listed.
