I agreed to the $10 short-term option only. I was then asked whether I wanted to enroll in an ongoing unlimited monthly plan, which I explicitly declined. After that initial week, I did not return or use their services again. I recently discovered that I have nevertheless been charged $35 per month for the past six months. I brought this to management's attention and requested a refund. They refused, asserting that I authorized a subscription, despite their own records confirming that I have not used the service since the initial promotional period. These charges were unauthorized, and I am concerned that other customers may be experiencing similar billing practices without their knowledge.

The made me drive my truck myself and then none of the little grit and dog hair was even touch. $50 car detail and it looked like I went through a Sheetz car wash. Not what I paid for and very unhappy. It will be hard to go back unfortunately.

It worked perfectly for me because I was going to be in Durham for the day. The process from pulling in the parking lot to getting your car back once it's finished was absolutely seamless. Everyone was so nice and the process was quick. Since it was my first time there, the first attendant walked me through all the options, and there are a lot of them. Once you let them know what package you want and you pull up to the designated area, you're directed inside where you pay and there's a very comfortable waiting area. They also have a great selection of beverages and snacks. There are also several options of things to purchase for your car, like air fresheners, chargers, etc. It was a beautiful day out, so I decided to sit outside on the spacious patio with tables, chairs and other seating. At one point, there were 4 people working on my car once it came out of the washing tunnel, one inside each door. They got every nook and cranny in my car. Hand wiping and vacuuming, I was so impressed. They called me by my car when it was finished. I was fortunate enough to meet one of the owners, he took part in the awesome cleaning of my car himself. It's a family run business. They did the best job, and I have recommended them to every in the Triangle.

First, it should be noted that the experience I had with Spiffy was a couple of years old (pre-COVID, which seems decades ago). The cofounder apologized, noted that the individuals I had been interacting with were no longer with the company, and asked if I'd give Spiffy another shot and a chance to prove that they could do a great job. After a bit of back and forth (initially I resisted as I wasn't looking to get something for free, as I no longer have the Porsche) we agreed that it was only fair to give Spiffy a chance to try again, and they set me up with an Awesome Detail package. I have to say that everyone I spoke with at Spiffy, from the customer care manager to the detailer/technician assigned to the job were very professional, personable, and made an effort to keep me up to date. The day of the detail rolled around, and of course it was pouring out. The detailer called to apologize about needing to reschedule (as I don't have a garage with my house) and I worked with the Spiffy team to reschedule a few days later. That day worked out nicely--it was bright and sunny, and the process was very straight-forward and easy--the detailer arrived, I provided the key, and he started immediately. Three and a half hours later, I have to say, my car was as clean--if not more so--than when I originally bought it (you can see pictures attached). Even with having two dogs with fur everywhere and doggo slobber on the windows...the detailer, Tyler, even managed to get the fabric on the B-pillar totally clean. Spiffy did live up to the name of the detailing procedure--it was truly was an Awesome job. Sure, I had a less than ideal experience with Spiffy--but any company can have a bad day/detailer, so I consider it water under the bridge. Based on my latest experience, both with the management and detailing work, I feel comfortable changing my rating significantly. I know I'll be using them for my future detailing needs.

When a technician actually arrives at your house, they do a really good job…read more The problem is that they often reschedule. Sometimes with 24 hrs, sometimes with 20 minutes notice. And then they have no availability for several days. I tried to make an appointment a week ago. It's been rescheduled twice and if they show up this time, it will be 10 days from when I requested an appointment to when they actually wash my car. I feel like if they could figure out this scheduling situation, they would be more profitable and have higher ratings, because who wants to wait 10 days to get your car washed???

I waited close to 30 minutes for a shuttle to meet me at RDU, which was frustrating. I'm not sure if it was a driver shortage or just an overload of travelers, but there was nothing "fast" about today's service. For a company that prides itself on efficiency, this was disappointing and definitely needs attention. Other than that once I got picked up everything was smooth sailing.
