I didn't plan on stopping here but I did. I have been trying to avoid food like this but I suppose once in awhile can't hurt you. An acquaintance suggested the place as a good local place for pizza. This is one of those smaller locally-owned businesses that hasn't been ruined like Domino's and Papa John's. This place has a great interior that reminds me of the old Shakey's. There are plenty of TVs throughout the dining room and plenty of games on if sports is your thing. This place manages to combine the feel of a sports bar with the comfort of a family restaurant. It seemed to me that everyone enjoyed this place based on the number of happy customers I observed in the dining room. The pizza was awesome. It was absent of that red sauce that tends to overwhelm the food that passes for pizza at the big chains. The crust was perfectly cooked and the pizza toppings were fresh and flavorful. They also had an excellent selection of draft beers available. The staff here provides excellent customer service. They are polite, professional and thorough. It is always a good sign when a staff member is able to assist a customer who is visiting for the first time. After having Zito's those big chain pizza places will no longer be getting my business. It may be a bit more in price, but well worth it! I grew up on pizza hut, but the quality has dropped tremendously since I was a kid. They had to I guess since they have to sell it so cheap now. Zito's pizza's are great! We usually order a large pepperoni and olive to go, but sometimes like to change it up and will get the Zito's Special or the BBQ Chicken which are both well worth it. The thing I've had that wasn't to par were their wings. They are pre-glazed in BBQ or Hot (I wanted half & half but was told they were pre-done with sauce) and are grilled not fried. read more

This is my go-to place for a calzone. Good crust and can get up to 3 items for the regular cost. You won't leave hungry. Pizza is good as well. Dining room is very roomy and they have several flat panel t.v.s showing sports around the perimeter. They have a decent selection of beer on tap and a soda fountain so you can get your own refills. This is our go to delivery place when we are at Disneyland. Pizza is always delivered fresh and hot, huge amounts of food at a reasonable price and the people are super friendly! Just picked up some food from Zito's and it was solid. Got a mini Zito's special and an order of wings. Wings were great and so was the pizza. I would say it's better than most the other places in the area that I've been to so far. The service was good too. The girl at the counter who took my order and at the end brought it out, was really pleasant and friendly. My only knock on the place really, is the price. My order ended up being just over $19. So it was over $19 for a mini pizza and an order of wings. The order of wings was $9 for 8 and the mini pizza was also about $9. Seems a little too much to pay but might be a better value for a larger group of people. read more

Today October 30, 2020 we ordered pizza pasta and salad from zeros on Chapman Avenue and they told us on the phone it would be 20 minutes it and it ended up being 57 minutes and they never apologized or gave an excuse for being late but other people were coming in and getting their food. read more

Tonight my girl and I wanted pizza so he headed over to Zito's pizza. We ate here before and the pizza was good along with their loaded potato wedges so we said let's do it. Unfortunately I'm on the fence about return to Zito's because of the disappointing food they served us tonight. My girl ordered spaghetti and meatballs in which she rated it average, I myself ordered a pastrami pizza hopping it would be as delicious as the pastrami pizza from Downy Pizza Co. Originally I wanted a 8" personal to try it out but I decided to upgrade thinking they would cook it better. The employee taking our order said if we upgrade to a large we will get free garlic knots, I said ok because my girl had mentioned she wanted some anyways. I am used to the pinkish red pastrami with pickles and mustard when you order anything with pastrami. Instead I got this pizza that looked like cheese pizza cooked extra on some parts, I bite it and I taste sweet sauce with no pickles or mustard like I hoped. Maybe this is how you originally make a pastrami pizza I don't know? What I do know is if you expect that juicy pastrami similar to the hat, this isn't it. We ordered delivery on a Friday afternoon... was craving wings & they did not disappoint... we tried the garlic knots because after all the good reviews I read I had too & they were delicious! The first time I tried Zito's was for my quarantine birthday dinner and it was great!!! So last Thursday i ordered a pizza around 7:45 I repeated my address 3 times. It was repeated incorrect twice (I said Anaheim and they replied Orange). On the 3rd try and 2nd person taking the address it was correct. I was told it would take 45 minutes to an hour which I was ok with. At 9:30 when my ordered hadn't arrived I called and was told it's showed out for delivery I replied it had been over an hour and a half. The person on the phone said sorry we got busy. I get they got busy but they could've called me with an update. I finally got a call from the driver at 9:49 asking me to confirm my address. I sent him my location to make it easier. He arrived around 10:10 he told me the address he had was in Orange. So after repeating 3 times and giving my zip code it was still written down wrong. Needless to say my pizza was cold and my fountain drink was warm. The food is good I just think they could've cared a little more that what should've taken 45 minutes to an hour took over 2 hours. read more

We visit Anaheim quite a few times throughout the year and have gotten Zito's Pizza on quite a few occasions. The pizza is good... maybe not the best ever. I love that they put a lot of cheese. With that being said, one of my children pointed out that the cheese gets too hard once its cooled down and in their opinion there is too much of it. I don't know how there could be too much cheese, because I love cheese, but I think the fact that it does firm up quite a bit when its not hot could be the reason they feel that way. I still enjoy it though, I'll just reheat it. The crust is ok, just normal, nothing memorable. To be honest if I was rating Zito's on just their pizza I would only give them 3 stars. It's just ok. But they have many other things to offer. We always get their garlic knots which are a fave of my family. Their cinnamon and sugar knots are really good as well. We have also gotten a few of their salads. Their salads are a good size, always fresh and crisp, and they give you plenty of dressing. No complaints at all about those. We have also ordered the chicken wings which are also good, perhaps nothing to write home about, but also no complaints. We have always ordered for pick up or (mostly) delivery to our hotel and the customer service has always been very good. We also like that their open pretty late so we can count on them to come hand deliver us some food before we crash and while we rest our feet after a looooooong day at Disneyland! Pizza is a 3 star... but all the rest overall pulls them up to a 4. We'll order again! read more

We and our friends have been meeting at Zito's once a month for years and their pizza has always been the best! Tonight was an exception. We ordered three pizzas and they were all terrible. I took mine back because there was barely any tomato sauce on it. They offered to remake it, and the second pizza had the wrong toppings on it and no more tomato sauce than the first. The cheese was a runny, gooey mess. Our friends asked for a side of sauce to add to their pizza which helped slightly. Another couple got wings that were burned to a crisp. Everyone but me was too polite to complain. I'll give Zito's one more chance, as they may have had an off-night, but if the pizza is just as bad next time, I'm finding a new pizza place. read more

Let me start by saying zitos pizza is the best.. we love zitos. However, we probably won't go to this one again. We will make the extra drive to one that is managed better. We ordered to go and while waiting 15 min for our order noticed the fOllowing.. you can see the pizza guys through the opening and the main pizza guy touching our fOod and dough did not wear a mask, not even around his neck. Then the girl at the front was wearing hers around her neck taking orders at the register.. we then watched her walk to assemble pizza boxes and place center pieces and scratch her nose twice, then touch dirty money and touch more boxes while scratching her nose again. never washing or gelling her hands once. Given our current situation you would think they would take better precautions with hand hygiene and mandate their employees to wear masks. I reached out to "corporate" and truly believe I got a friend of someone in the establishment to cover for them. Very unprofessional and sounds like an uneducated teenager answering the phone. I am posting this in hopes of alerting the owner because I asked for the owners email and got a response of "it will just go to me". My husband and I work in hospitals and covid is nothing to take lightly, we both want to support local businesses but this just makes me want to cook at home. Holy cow... I just found my favorite pizza. Tonight my boyfriend and I ordered from Zito's on a whim, because the photos on Google looked good. We are both fairly new to the Anaheim area and don't know the good spots quite yet. First off this is probably the best pizza we've ever eaten. After a few bites we decided this is DEFINITELY our new "place". Also, the customer service rocks! I usually order from here when we want good pizza as opposed to cheap like lil Caesars or dominoes. The staff are always friendly when I call and when I pick up, or on the rare occasion we eat in. If my pizza doesn't look right on the crust darkness they'll put it back on the oven for a few mins for me. I have been here twice for family gatherings, they can accommodate large parties, the pizza is great and the garlic knobs too! They have beer on tap and have weekly specials. A cool place to hang with buddies from what I've seen too. They always have sports playing on the nice TVs. The staff is friendly. It's a nice place, not too busy which is good because they can focus on good quality service and food. The only thing is the Arcade, the first time I came all the machines worked, and the second only a handful worked, im a grown kid, i like to play on the machines while I wait for food. We had 16 in our party, but got seated right away on a Friday night. The staff was very helpful and got our order out fast and right! They dont have sodas in pitchers, but have two liter bottles.
