This is my new go to place for pizza and I've been telling my fellow foodies in the area about it. Let me preface this review by saying that I'm usually a Pizza Hut customer and had been pretty happy with my local location, great pizza, frequent discounts and friendly service. I came across Pizza Guys, because my child's school was running a fundraiser here, so I didn't have high expectations, I mean, it's a fundraiser after all... Wow was I in for a surprise! There are 3 reasons why I would give a restaurant my business, all 3 reasons being equally important. One, it has to be yummy. The pizza here was surprisingly yummy and they didn't skimp on the toppings! Two, the price has to be right. The prices were reasonable and when they run a sale, I am getting excellent value for my money. Three, it should have decent service at a minimum. This is where it blew me away! The service here was not only excellent, it was the kind that retains customers and loyalty. In fact, I will buy from this location regardless of whether there was an active sale at the time and even if the location is out of my way. The people at the Katella location are usually friendly and nice. However, the dynamic duo that has earned my loyalty to this location are Bruno and Josh. Long story short, my kids like their pizza square cut, but at some point, the app ordering system was changed so that I can no longer choose that option and it's too much hassle to call in every time, so I went several orders/months with the typical cut/slice. When I went in last night for my app placed pizza, I was happy to see that Bruno and Josh were behind the counter, since I hadn't seen them in a long time (I've been visiting on their off days), but what surprised me was that Bruno actually remembered that I prefer my pizza square cut and Josh had the pizza/toppings just the way my kids like it. The guys did that for me, without my asking! Wow!!! I can't believe that Bruno actually remembered my preference after all this time!!! As busy and lazy as I am, I feel compelled to write this review, because what they did was above and beyond expectations. Bruno and Josh are young men, I have no doubt that if/when they outgrow this location, just the attitude and attention to detail alone, both essential entrepreneur mindsets, will get them far in life. I wouldn't be surprised if they have their own franchised Pizza Guys locations later and I'd be one of the first customers to visit and say, I told you so! ;) read more

The associate at the register was not really interacting with us professionally and was on his phone texting while i was thinking of my order. Yes! I've been on a pizza kick lately and this store has been around for the past year and we finally gave it a shot and ordered. Amazing pizza, we got Hawaiian and the cupped pepperoni - crispy, salty, sweet and cheesy. What's not to love?! The customer service was great. We will be back! Glad to have found this local from scratch kitchen. They don't skimp on toppings and I love the little table, reminds me of my childhood. So I call them and they say I'll get a text when it comes out of the oven. I get the text and drive 2 minutes to pickup a cold pizza for $36. We reheat in the oven and its like cardboard. Came here to grab appetizers for a potluck. The place is small but clean. The owner is very nice and answered my questions. I got an order of cheezee garlic bread and cheezee garlic rolls. My order came out fresh and quick. Cheezee Garlic Bread- The dough is nice and soft with a crisp edge. The cheese was rich and stretchy and the garlic and herb flavor is strong and tied the dish together. Cheezee Garlic Rolls- These are basically the rolls version of the garlic bread. The base dough is fluffy and rolled with a generous amount of cheese. The garlic and herbs are flavorful. Will definitely return to try the rest of their menu! read more

I had seen that this was one of the best fast food pizza chains and wanted to try them when I was near one so when I saw this was a couple miles away from my hotel I decided to check it out. They don't have any tables to sit and eat in but when I got there and ordered they had it ready in about 12 minutes which was nice. I ended up ordering the cup and crispy pepperoni and it was really good it was a little greasy but is expected with how much pepperoni was on there and it was so good I definitely will be stopping by here again to try one of the other specialty pizzas of the many they have. read more

I tried the Chili Serrano pizza and it was delicious! The crust was perfectly cooked, the toppings were super fresh, and the spicy kick from the Serrano peppers & sauce was just right. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Definitely my new go-to spot for pizza! Man they have been dropping the ball lately. This is my go to pizza place but last two times I've been very disappointing. In particular got two pizzas for a party in both orders are wrong. My brother picked them up so unfortunately I wasn't able to catch the mistake but the curry pizza without jalapeños definitely had jalapeños and the garlic pepperoni pizza with the stuffed crust had neither garlic nor pepperoni. Just a plain cheese pizza with a stuffed crust. I think I might need to take a break from these guys for a while and go back to Round Table or one of the other local options. Great pizza open super late, need I say more? Why not. Love the optional crispy pepperonis. Guys taking the orders and making pizzas are friendly and helpful and patient. They usually have good coupon deals. Salads are very good fresh enough to keep a couple days to have for lunch later. Delivery is inexpensive and they have a large delivery area but if you happen to be outside of it, you can likely pay a small fee to still get delivery. I'd keep this place a secret, but I wanted to succeed because there is no late night pizza open anywhere close by that is as good as this. I hope this place is a franchise and the franchiseor gives me a call because I would love to be an owner of one of these pizza joints. I'm sold on this chain. The toppings are fresh and plentiful, crust is a fine example of American style pizza. The sauce is very good (unlike the horrible stuff Papa John's makes). They communicate well with you regarding pick up and your order being ready. read more

I went to Pizza Guys today. It was busy but worth the wait. We waited for about 15 to 20 minutes. We ordered a medium supreme pizza. The food was delicious! It was loaded with toppings. The pizza was a good size. I loved it! It tasted better than Pizza Hut and Domino's. The pizza was not too expensive. The worker gave us a 20 percent discount. I noticed after we placed the order that there were coupons, but still the price was $23 for a medium supreme pizza which is an incredible price. The food is a must try! This place is super good. They put so much toppings and they have so many different choices of pizza. We have tried several pizzas here and they were all delicious. I can't wait to try more. Please continue putting lots of toppings and we will keep coming back. I like that you can get any of the pizzas with original crust. So many pizza restaurant are barely putting any toppings and charging so much for large and extra large pizza but this place the pizza is not cheap but because they put so much toppings it is worth it. Great service from all the staff that helped me complete my order. We ordered 3 pizzas 1 Extra Large all meat pizza, large pepperoni with stuffed crust, and large pepperoni with olives. Had to grab some wings (36) as well. Very tasty everything was delicious all the flavors were there. They didn't seem like they had a dinning area, be we did carry out and enjoys our meal. originally, I was very excited because a friend of mine had ordered this pizza for a party they had but when we went to try, they got our order wrong and then didn't put much effort into fixing the problem half of my order was wrong and thankfully, I caught it before I left or all I would've gone home with the wrong order, which wouldn't have been great kind of disappointing. I wasn't even able to enjoy my food. We had ordered a pizza and the pepperoni garlic bites they forgot to put pepperoni on them and then proceeded to just pour some on top didn't even cook it all the way through the second time instead of offering to make us fresh ones and maybe giving us those they tried to fix the order they did not taste very good that they did it disappointing. read more

Im really not a big fan of pizza, so when i crave i turn to yelp for recommendations. I also consider the distance. I came across the pizza guys and so i called to order, the staff are nice and respectful. gave me 20 mins for pick-up time. When i came the pizza is ready but not as warm as expected, ( i was there within 20 mins as told) usually the smell lingers in the car but this one was shy if that pizza smell. It's a bit salty and on the dry side( maybe it's the kind i ordered-"game bundle" which is all meat and bacon cheese rolls) the bacon cheese rolls are good but i have tried better pizzas before. Would i return?, maybe but just to try a different kind to give-it another chance. I believe in second chances. The place was not that busy on a Saturday night.
