The kids were starving so we ducked into this quant pizza place. We ordered them half cheese and half pepperoni because you know kids and that what they love. This place has a great lunch special and atmosphere. The pizza was delicious! The kids barely let me take a picture and a bit before devouring it.the crust was thin and not too crispy, with real cheese! So happy we found this place.

Going to school in Orange, Pizza Press was and has been a staple of mine for years now. My go-to is the garlic cheesy bread with their house ranch, but the build-your-own or signature pizzas are fantastic too. You really can't go wrong. The cheesy bread is simple, delicious, and most importantly, affordable -- what more could you want in college? There are lots of great places to eat in the circle, but Pizza Press will always have my heart.

The Tribune. No olives, add arugula
    Catherine S.

I got the Tribune (no olives, add arugula). It was good and the guy making the person was nice. He made sure I was happy before sending down the oven line. Boneless wings were okay. The buffalo sauce was good but the wings were soggy and generic. You could find better elsewhere. The space wasn't dirty, but it wasn't super clean for 8:30pm. I would have expected it to be a little cleaner well after the dinner rush Heads up on pricing. I get that everything expensive but $45 for 2 pizzas and 6 piece boneless wings...woof!

Journal with mushrooms, olives and sausage
    Richard W.

There's two sizes - regular or XL. Regular size was more than enough for one average person. Like most pizza places, they have combo suggestions or you can create your own. There's also an option called the Journal where you get cheese and tomato sauce +3 toppings, which ends up to be about a dollar cheaper than the create your own option which has unlimited toppings. You also get an unlimited amount of "finishings" after your pizza is made. This includes basil, cilantro, Italian seasoning, hot sauce, etc. The ingredients are super fresh, but I thought the crust could have been crispier. In hindsight, I would have also asked for a little less cheese. I also prefer crumbly spicier Italian sausage but their version is sliced and mild. They have a nice set of beer on tap with varying Abv's as well. That's all.

    Chairs clearly never cleaned.

It's been a while since I've been to Pizza Press and I was really looking forward to it. I went today Sunday, Jan 18 around 1:00 P.M. I will say the gentlemen who made my pizza was very nice, but the guy working the register was literally just a body. I had to ask a few times for things and you can tell that he did not want to be there. The place is absolutely filthy! Filthy is using a nice word. The place is extremely dirty and with dust all over. Don't believe me? Look for yourself when you walk in. All the wood, the pizza oven close to the glass, the signage hanging and lights. Our table was also extremely dirty. This place needs a major deep cleaning. Not sure how the city has not done anything about it.

This place was actually so much better than I expected!! The inside is so cute and family friendly, plus spacious! There is a variety of toppings and sauces, I tried the spicy pizza sauce with many veggie toppings, and it was so yummy! The service is very fast and friendly! I did feel bed for the workers because they had to clean up some drunk guys barf in the middle of the restaurant, but they took care of it as soon as it was brought to their attention! Thanks Pizza Press!

    Pineapple cream cider

Came here for dinner. The place was quite busy but the staff handled it pretty well. They were nice and offered suggestions on their cider selection. We got the pineapple cream cider for drinks, a customized pizza with pepperoni, mushroom, and olives, garlic cheese bread, and lemon pepper wings. Pineapple cream cider- Refreshing and fruity. The pineapple flavor carries through with just the right amount of sweetness. It has a finish that reminds me of creamsicles. Pepperoni, olive, and mushroom pizza- The crust is to die for! They also give a good amount of cheese. The toppings were good but they could have done a better job of spreading it evenly. Garlic cheese bread- I cannot rave about their base crust enough. Great flavor and perfectly crisp around the edges. The cheese was melty and you can taste the garlic quite well. Lemon pepper wings- I was disappointed with this dish. The exterior had a rubbery texture and didn't carry the flavor that it should, we probably didn't get enough of the lemon pepper seasoning. I enjoyed the meal overall, but improvements could be made.

    Lunch special

This is some darn good pizza. I love a true thin crust. I ordered the lunch special a two-topping pie with a drink. I went with pepperoni and mushrooms. This may be the best thin crust pie I have ever eaten. They don't skimp on the cheese either. I want to bring a Vegan friend so she can try one of their pies. It was nice to have Basil sprinkled on top before serving. I don't drink, but I noticed a nice selection of craft beers. Service hare is very good. I will definitely return.

The Pizza Press was one of the first places I went to in Orange Circle, because it has build your own pizza and it has a fun newspaper theme. I got a custom pie and I really enjoyed it! You get to see the process of making the pie and then it goes into the oven. Pretty good pizza!

I came in 11/16 in the morning and the guy making my pizza was so rude. I know it's the morning but his vibe was so off and he just was so mad when i went to the counter to pay and added a salad. he was like you have to order the food at the beginning WELL i didn't know that and he actually made me feel so bad he was mad cause he couldn't hear us because of the oven.. overall i wouldn't come back after this. BUT the pizza is pretty good

It was my first time here at The Pizza Press. I've never had it before. I must say, I loved how clean and spacious it was inside as well. Everything was all organized and stocked up. I love how the menu is set up as well as the beer lineup and menu. (I was to ow cited forgot to take menu photos). I will be back. Soon as we go up to order we are greeted by the workers. The one who helped me I forgot his name but was attentive to my order and I ordered a "build your own" pizza it has a play on words and forgot what it said lol anyways, when I got to the register Jack was the one who took care of me and my friends. He was so sweet and I did let him know it was my first time. After I was done and had to get a to-go box, I told him all the flavors were so good and every flavor came through. He took care of me well. Jack needs a raise by the way. His customer service w skills and communication was beyond amazing and had a smile that made your day that much better. Thank you Jack and your coworker. I will definitely be coming back. The food was hella poppin!! My fave base sauce that I had on my pizza l is their spicy marinara. It does have a kick but it works well with al the toppings I had chosen. I can't wait to come back!

Dirty windows always. Get some windex. Attention to detail.

Good service!! Good Food and beer! Managers should pay attention to the cleanliness of their windows. Always dirty. Smudges. Nasty. They need to get a window washer or at the least, get someone to windex every morning

This is my new go to place for pizza and I've been telling my fellow foodies in the area about it…read more Let me preface this review by saying that I'm usually a Pizza Hut customer and had been pretty happy with my local location, great pizza, frequent discounts and friendly service. I came across Pizza Guys, because my child's school was running a fundraiser here, so I didn't have high expectations, I mean, it's a fundraiser after all... Wow was I in for a surprise! There are 3 reasons why I would give a restaurant my business, all 3 reasons being equally important. One, it has to be yummy. The pizza here was surprisingly yummy and they didn't skimp on the toppings! Two, the price has to be right. The prices were reasonable and when they run a sale, I am getting excellent value for my money. Three, it should have decent service at a minimum. This is where it blew me away! The service here was not only excellent, it was the kind that retains customers and loyalty. In fact, I will buy from this location regardless of whether there was an active sale at the time and even if the location is out of my way. The people at the Katella location are usually friendly and nice. However, the dynamic duo that has earned my loyalty to this location are Bruno and Josh. Long story short, my kids like their pizza square cut, but at some point, the app ordering system was changed so that I can no longer choose that option and it's too much hassle to call in every time, so I went several orders/months with the typical cut/slice. When I went in last night for my app placed pizza, I was happy to see that Bruno and Josh were behind the counter, since I hadn't seen them in a long time (I've been visiting on their off days), but what surprised me was that Bruno actually remembered that I prefer my pizza square cut and Josh had the pizza/toppings just the way my kids like it. The guys did that for me, without my asking! Wow!!! I can't believe that Bruno actually remembered my preference after all this time!!! As busy and lazy as I am, I feel compelled to write this review, because what they did was above and beyond expectations. Bruno and Josh are young men, I have no doubt that if/when they outgrow this location, just the attitude and attention to detail alone, both essential entrepreneur mindsets, will get them far in life. I wouldn't be surprised if they have their own franchised Pizza Guys locations later and I'd be one of the first customers to visit and say, I told you so! ;)

My friend heard about this place on one of the OC Facebook Buzz accounts and wanted to check it out. Let's just say our visit today was far from Buzz-worthy. While the interior arrangement looked cozy/homey, once we sat down there wasn't any cozy to be felt. The dining room was cold and the jazz music playing was turned up to more than background sounding. There seemed to only be one woman working and she wasn't very welcoming. My friend arrived at 11AM when they opened. (I was running late as usual ). Knowing that a pizza would take a little longer to prepare and bake, she decided to place the order right away. The woman working told her they don't start pizzas before 11:30. If your restaurant opens at 11, why choose to delay pizza baking??? Since we had to wait for the pizza to cook AND the restaurant was cold, we decided to order their minestrone soup to start with and hopefully help warm us up. The soup did come up quickly. It wasn't like any minestrone soup I'd ever had. Theirs had no pasta, no beans, and lacked seasoning. At least it warmed us up while we waited for the pizza. Side note on beverages. If you're a Coke fan like I am, prepare for disappointment. Generally when only Pepsi is offered I opt for unsweetened iced tea. Although fresh brewed iced tea is on the menu, they no longer serve it. Tap water it is then. Finally, the pizza arrived at our table. We chose the Hawaiian (pineapple on pizza haters, please don't judge). They were very generous with the cheese. The ham and pineapple, however, were very sparse. There wasn't any real flavor that stood out, just copious amounts of cheese. The sauce didn't even give it a flavor boost. The crust was nothing special either. Even after adding chili flakes and parm, the flavor was still underwhelming. I even tried adding the table pepper to it to see if it would help ~ it did not. After paying the bill we never saw the server again. No "thanks for coming, I hope you enjoyed your meal", nothing. All things considered, there are plenty of other pizza/Italian places in the area that have better food and have workers who actually appreciate our business. We most likely not be coming back.

I ate at another Round Table in Fullerton several years ago, but I honestly can't recall much about it. I searched my email for pizza and found a code for $6 off a large pizza. Since I've given up on delivery (it's too expensive and unreliable), I've placed an order online for pickup. I left almost immediately after I received the confirmation. In planning my route, I knew I had to enter on Katella heading west, which meant I had to swing around the east side of the 55 onto Katella. After pulling in, I realized I could have entered on Tustin just past Miguel's Jr., as the parking lots are all connected. Now I know. Walking in, this reminds me of an old-fashioned pizza place. Although it was older, it was clean and somewhat dark. They had a good-sized game room in the back. They had a salad bar, something scarce these days. I did notice they had Pepsi. Ick. Well, no one can be perfect. The pizza was ready when I got there. They asked if I wanted peppers or cheese (I got cheese), and I was on my way. Upon arriving home, the pizza looked a little burnt, but it certainly didn't taste burnt. In fact, it was pretty dang good. I also passed the microwave test the next day. It was also nicely cut, which I like. I don't mind stringy cheese, mind you, but I don't like it when you pull cheese from the slice next to it.
