It gives off that cozy mom-and-pop feel, but with the bonus of a nice parking lot and lots of seating inside. They have a solid menu with plenty of pizza options, plus pasta and Italian appetizers like garlic bread. We ordered the vegetarian pizza, and it was so good. I finally admit it. I got completely caught up in the influencer and gourmet pizza nonsense. Neapolitan rules. D.O.T. certified tomatoes. Wood fired ovens that must hit a sacred temperature. You are told why it is special before you even take a bite, and you definitely pay for it. Those pizzas have their place, but I am officially over the pretentious BS. Places like Wowee Zowee are a perfect example. When it hits, it can be great. But after being told about 90 minute waits, or showing up only to hear they stopped taking orders, I just got tired of the hassle. Great pizza should not feel like a lifestyle commitment. Enter Valentino's Pizza. This pizza is incredibly tasty. The dough is slightly sweet with an outstanding texture. It just works. Nothing is trying too hard. Nothing is being explained to you. You take a bite and immediately get why people love it. It is deeply satisfying in a way that a lot of so called gourmet pizza is not. And the price. The price is crazy low for how good this is. Did I mention the price? This is not a fancy place by any means. The staff is efficient, friendly, and clearly focused on getting good food out consistently. No attitude, no performance, no lecture about ingredients. Just really solid pizza done right. This experience genuinely made me rethink how much patience I have left for the more precious pizza scene. Valentino's reminded me that great pizza does not need rules, certifications, or influencers telling you why it is special. You should just be able to taste it. Valentinos Pizza is a nice local spot in Orange! The pizza was great and I love how the store has later night hours, so I can get a home style pizza past 8PM! I opted to build my own pizza with the Meat Lover's and Bianca (Half and half). Overall I enjoyed the pizza, the crust was chewy and the pizza came hot! For the protein lovers, the meat lovers does come with a lot of meat including sausage, ham, pepperoni, and bacon. We called in the order too, so the to-go quality is there! Been here many times but this is my first review. We love the friendliness of the staff and pizzas are always delicious and consistent. Placed my order and what usually would be a 20 minute cook time turned into an hour. They made an error on my order and had to remake my pizza. Normally not a big deal things happen but I was the only one in the lobby and nobody told me about the error until I asked what was the delay. Ordered pizza for pick up at this location. Called in the order ahead of time and picked up 6 pizzas. The cashier was nice and polite. I was greeted, I paid and left with my pizzas in hand. Easy process. Took the pizzas home to a full house. Pizza was delicous! We enjoyed all of them. Pepperoni, mixed Meats, Hawaiian, Jalapeño, and cheese. No complaints on the taste and freshness of the pizza. Was rather tasty! Definitely 2 steps above a Costco pizza. The quality did not dissapoint. I gave this place 4 stars vs 5 because I actually did not experience the dining ambiance. I would definitely come back to this location. Pizzas had good presentation. read more

I had to try this place while I was getting my car repaired next door at Firestone. This was a pleasant surprise. I'm a big fan of white pizzas, and the Bianca from Valentino's is one of the most flavorful pies I've had in a while. The sauce was flavorful and the crust had the perfect amount of crunch. It also had a very generous helping of ricotta cheese. It was so good that I had to tell myself to stop eating it so I'd have leftovers for lunch tomorrow! Their attention to quality, detail, and flavor is a testament to their longevity here in Orange. This is an extremely underrated spot and a must-go if you're looking for flavorful pizzas. Also, the manager and everyone else are super nice and they're working on refreshing the restaurant. Beware of this merchant. We have been going here for 20yrs and not sure if they changed ownership but they tried to pull a scam on us tonight. I called and ordered a pizza over the phone and paid with my credit card and received a text from my credit card company saying it was charged and how much it was charged and where it was charged (Valentino's) my husband goes to pick up the Pizza and they tried to charge him again. My husband calls me and says they are trying to charge him again. I send him the text showing the charge went through then they try and say they don't take credit cards over the phone. I then call the store and the same guy that took my order said he doesn't recall even taking my order even though there's a pizza sitting there with our name. Something very shady is going on. They wouldn't give my husband the pizza so I had to go through the credit card company to report fraud and get a new credit card. read more

This store is under new ownership. I know this because been ordering the same pizza for a dozen years, and the pizza I got this weekend was a very poor version of the pizza we've always loved. Crust not spongy and delicious, sparse tomato sauce not as good, cheese appears to have fillers or lesser a cheese mix in it now. Their old pepperoni pizza used to be sublime, this new version is not very good at all. Don't take my word for it though, give it a try. It doesn't even look the same. But they told me over the phone my pizza was gonna take 25-30mins I arrived there in 30mins my pizza wasn't ready I was okay with that but 5 minutes passed by...an employee cutting the pizza was asking the cook if they had made one of my pizzas. It bugs me that 2 employees were aware of it and could not bother to tell me I was going to have to wait 15 more minutes I had to ask the guy taken phone orders if my pizza was coming out soon he just told me they didn't let you know that one of your pizzas wasn't made I told him "No, no one told me anything!" All he said it will come out soon sorry. Do better and all employees should be more friendly and aware of all customers! read more

The pizza is a favorite of my kids. But they charge you more than what's on the menu and they refuse to refund. For example, a large cheese pizza is $11.99 on the tv menu inside, but they charge $12.99. The counter person recognized it after I told her and just said maybe the menu needs to be updated. Service is horrible. The servers are hardly audible except for one girl who didn't realize how loud she was. She only paid attention to one customer the entire time, but made sure the entire restaurant could hear her. The person at the counter couldn't even move to give me plates and napkins. Now let's go to the food. The crust was SOGGY and they couldn't care to cut the pizza. I had to practically tear the pizza apart by myself. This place closes at 11pm, I was there at 8pm...absolutely NO REASON to get this crappy pizza. NEVER AGAIN will I come to this place. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Valentino's pizza is decent pizza but not what I would consider Gourmet pizza. It is made from scratch hand tossed dough and served fresh. Definitely a par above Little Sleazer's pizza. Their marinara sauce is delicious and the garlic bread sticks are excellent and served in a pizza box. My only complaint is they discontinued their Take out Special loss leader which was a Large single topping for $5.99 then $7.99 before they did away with it. I would get that and the bread sticks or calzone with it. Now their prices are consistent with most other pizza establishments that serve pizza several pars better quality and service. read more

Today I called to place the same order I've made over and over and they said they don't deliver if the order total is under $25. I said I've had it delivered numerous times and they said they would have to charge me the difference to bring my order up to $25. A large pizza is $21 and the XL was 23$.
