Great place with amazing interior. Extremely tasty food. A lot of options, including vegetarian and gluten free menu. I've tried Zizzi in UK as well, and can say that the quality is invariable.

Walking thru city centre and found Zizzi. Delightful! Friendly staff, prompt service, hip yet warm decor and excellent food! 2 of us shared a Rustica Pizza -- perfectly proportioned And room for a chocolate waffle for dessert! A must try!

Tried here yesterday and the food is delicious! They have a separate allergens menus which has vegan cheese and gluten free pizza! We tried the vegan pizza, spaghetti and garlic bread and all of it was so good! The service is great just enough attention but then they leave you alone at the right time! The restaurant itself is lovely inside with pretty comfortable seats. What else is really needed!

Zizzi is a new addition to the Pembroke District in dundrum shopping centre. Alongside it is Jamie's Italian and there's a milanos nearby so if you like Italian food your in the right place! The decor is gorgeous and you can see the kitchen and the very few staff behind it cooking. The place was packed but the waitress was quick when taking the orders for drinks and food. After looking through the menu (which took a while), it was hard to make a decision. It's literally a three page menu. I hate too much choice because I want everything!! I went for some cheese fondue and a pizza with fig, smoked mozzarella, pancetta and balsamic onions. The fondue was average but the pizza stole the show. Pity it took over an hour to come to the table. My child's pasta was served after my food came so she was left looking at ours which is not good. I couldn't finish the big pizza so they do takeout boxes or half pizzas if you don't want the whole thing. I wouldn't rush back unless I looked inside and the place was empty, in hopes of having a quicker meal.

Best idea ever ! 1* For the place : Located on Lower Kilmacud road, facing the Stillorgan shopping centre, you open the door to a staircase that leads to the restaurant. The place is huge, with a view on the cool kitchen. It looks like I have travelled to Italy in a blink of an eye ! On the walls, old metallic advertising board given by the previous Italian pub that was there. On th ceiling above our table we can see a gigantic wooden spoon and fork. Why not? 1* For the food : as a starter I had a tomoto & mozarella plate with green pesto, and that was wonderful ! Fresh and tasty. Nom nom... He chose the chicken wings with extra garlic sauce and pepper served by our waiter from a ginormous wooden pepper mill ! As a main I had a ham-artichoke-tomato-mozarella pizza, and he had a spicy diavolo pizza. We honestly were starving but we only managed to get through to half of our respective pizza ! 1* For the service : The staff was unbelievably nice. I couldn't help smiling from start to finish. David, our Italian waiter, was the best ! The food was served really fast, so were the drinks. We never had to think of asking for anything, David was a magician ! He was incredibly sweet too. We left him a well deserved tip. 2* For the overall experience : This is my new pizza place ! I know this is crazy, but everything was so perfect I cannot think of words to describe how well the evening went. I need to add that the price is very reasonable for an amazing quality ! And... they deliver :D We will probably meet there. Leave me your impressions and let me know should you have questions, I will get back to you asap ! ;)

The food was good and I really enjoyed the bbq wing sauce, although the wings themselves were average at best. The pizza was excellent and the window view from my table was nice. We had the charred broccoli with the chimichurri sauce and OH MY, it was really good. We each ordered a pizza and they were very, very good pizzas. I had the salami Napoli, but changed it up a bit with mushrooms instead of chili peppers and added arugula(rocket) after it baked. It was so good. So good. My friend had the Revolution and really enjoyed the variety of meats. Good wines and nice owner that we chatted with. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely be back. The Revolution is here and it is happening right now!…read more I have so many good things to say about this place I don't even know where to begin. Maybe if I break it down into sections it'll help: - Staff 11/10 - Decor and ambience 12/10 - Food 13/10 Eating at The Revolution is like eating at your best friends house, except the food is ten times better. I felt so comfortable being there, from the naturally warmed room due to the open pizza oven to the funky selection of music, my visit was a good one. I met Paul there, the owner, and he could not have been more helpful. It was obvious he knew the menu inside out and was able to rattle off some great info about what accompanying beers would suit my food choice. I know this sounds cliché but I honestly couldn't choose from the menu because there was so much I wanted. In the end (after a few games of rock paper scissors with myself) I decided to get a main course AND a 'big bite' which looked, in terms of portion size, like something between a starter and a main which I thought was a really cool idea. You could choose from this list if you were a bit hungry but not starving. I was starving though so I ordered the mac & cheese with smoked chorizo. Sweet merciful jesus it was one of the nicest things I've ever eaten. Thinking about it now makes me want to throw my laptop on the floor and sprint back for another taste. For main I ordered a pizza with caramelized onions, bbq dressing and pulled pork. Yes you might read pulled pork and say in a whiny voice 'oh wow pulled pork, how original', well it was. Just like you and everyone else, I've had my fair share of pulled pork over the last year but this stuff was beyond tasty. I'd almost ring them up and get them to change the menu to 'super special pulled pork' as it would be more apt. As you can probably tell by now I enjoyed the pizza a lot. I also thought it was a really nice touch that you could see the chef making the pizza from scratch and cooking it right in front of you. For busier times there's even a cool bar counter area right in front of the stone oven pizza with high stools where you can watch the dishes being created, almost like a live episode of Masterchef (but with better chefs and food). I've been there and I've been back and I'll go back again. This is what a real revolution looks like.

For our entrées, we had the Ravioli dello Chef di Ricotta e Basilico and the Seafood Linguine. Both dishes were excellent, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors that made for a memorable meal. The atmosphere was quaint, cozy, and welcoming, and the staff was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The only small disappointment came at the very end. We noticed many other tables being offered complimentary limoncello, and we had been looking forward to experiencing that Italian tradition ourselves. Since we were the last guests to leave, we weren't offered any, which was a bit of a letdown after such an otherwise fantastic dining experience. Overall, the quality of the food and the warm service made this a restaurant we would gladly recommend and visit again.

We ordered two glasses of Barbera wine as our cocktail, followed by calamari, pappardelle al funghi and ravioli Asiago. The wine was perfect and complimented our meal. Our server Massimo brought out some bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to start our meal. The calamari was amongst the best I've ever had, the breading was light and crispy. Both our pasta dishes were divine and authentic. At the end of our meal we had some espresso and were given complementary limoncello shots. Il Vicoletto was amongst the best restaurants we visited during our trip to Dublin. I highly recommend for anyone looking to eat great Italian food.
