Went here for a Birthday and the deserts were good, but they could do better with their process for ordering and could scare you off if you are visiting for the first time and not very aware of the different sweets etc that they offer. Its almost chaos when you get there with no clear idea if you just walk up to counter or wait to get seated, etc. It's a free for all, while the cashier tries to maintain peace between you and the other folks in line. Be aware if you have a nut allergy, almost everything has some form of nuts etc on them. Also at the end of the parking lot, there seems to be a food cart of some sort, but was not sure how to approach and what they were offering. It's nice place if you want to feel like you're back in the middle east with the hustle, bustle and sweet smell of smoke from the chain smokers. It's not for the novice or faint at heart. We got the Kunafa with Lotus, Kunafa Kheshneh Crispy, and Strawberry Dubai Chocolate Cup. We ordered an iced tiramisu latte and iced Spanish latte but after ordering the lattes we were told they don't make iced lattes (??). Service at the coffee bar was horrible and the man had an attitude. Everyone else was extremely nice and helpful and gave us a refund. Overall, the kataifi in the Kunafa was burnt in all three desserts. The strawberry cup had a small amount of strawberries and barely any chocolate. The Kunafa with Lotus was decent but again, burnt. Seating was ample, ambience was nice, and bathrooms were clean. Most likely wouldn't eat here again because all three desserts were disappointing. read more

Knafeh Nutella and Turkish coffee is a 10/10! This is one of the best coffees I have ever had! They have a wide variety of different desserts, and it's so hard to choose! Went with my fiance and her little sister to try some Dubai chocolate. And along the way my sweet tooth convinced me to try the baklava ice cream sandwich. My mouth is watering just thinking about it... also got 2 pieces of the Dubai chocolate, the milk chocolate is so rich, the kanafeh is crunchy and delicious, and the pistachio crème tasted homemade! I did an online order with them and the package came out all messed up and packaging was very poor. I reached out to them and showed them the 3 lb of baklava I received and how messed they were. not a single piece is together. After a month of following up with them they kept telling me we will send you a replacement. Almost a month after they sent me 1 lb and still was missed up. Look at the photos i attached. Called so many times left my phone number for a "manager" to call back and I never got a response. Then all of a sudden manager quit. Then all of a sudden they are trying to find someone else to replace. Then all of a sudden they aren't doing mobile orders so you can't even reach them and the mailbox is full so can't leave a message. Finally got a hold of someone through Facebook and they told me they are having system problems and for me to dispute charges with bank not even them... very very disappointed. Horrible experience here today. First off, every single employee here is standoffish that it almost feels prejudice (I'm Mexican). The woman serving the desserts was very rude as well as the man at the register. Not to mention $29 for 4 Dubai chocolates is insane when it didn't even taste good. It felt like biting into a chunk of oil and zero pistachio flavor. I can see many people in the reviews have commented on their prejudice behavior and yet management has clearly done nothing but copy and paste the same apology without actually implementing any changes in staff. This is a shame considering the rally for Palestine posters on their entrance. It discourages people from wanting to support Palestinian-owned businesses. A note to management-- if you want to keep making money from other demographics, maybe tell your staff to not be jerks to those different from them. Well, this place is strange. We were in the area for Meat Moot, so I figured let's give ZMZM a shot for dessert despite some reviews being less than stellar. When we first got there, we were taken aback by how great the place looked. Nicely appointed, good lighting, outdoor seating, ample parking... We walked inside and noticed that the cashier is right there when you step in, so we asked how it works. The lady said we have to order here. We said we've never been here before, and there were no menus up front, so the lady told us to go to the back to order. The menu is on a screen completely opposite the cashier, but you can also see the desserts being made and available. We checked it out and decided on Harisa (K1). We went back up to order and asked for two pieces, but the lady said it's sold by pound and we have to go back to order there. ??? Just a moment ago the same lady told us we had to order there at the cash register. We went back again and noticed a couple people holding numbers, but nobody gave us a number. At that point we just decided to leave. It's a shame, because the place looks great and I'm sure the desserts taste good because they sure looked good. I really think they had a bad batch because you can see the inside of the chocolate green on the tiktok video the owner posted but the inside of my chocolate was brown. Be careful using a credit card here. Unfortunately, I was charged twice for our Dubai chocolate strawberry cup. I was told by the main cashier in front, to show my receipt to the man standing at the beverage counter and show him that I paid for the chocolate strawberry cup with the rest of the desserts I purchased, which is exactly what I did. The man at the coffee counter took a look at it and took the receipt from me, then made the dessert. He gave it to me and turned the credit card machine towards me and pointed at it as if he did not understand what I had said , even though he understood perfectly before this. I said that I had already paid for it and that I had given him the receipt and he just pointed to the credit card machine again. I asked for my original receipt twice and he did not give it to me and there were people waiting so I felt pressured and paid again. Once I did that I asked for my receipts again and his reply was "oh sure" . He still never gave me back my original receipt and I walked out pretty uncomfortable with the situation. Fast-forward about 16 hours and my credit card that has never been hit with fraud is now attempted five different times remotely to a store in Texas. While I can't say for certain that it happened at that moment, I have no other charges that day other than my auto pays set up online that have been there for years. So while all the desserts are quite good. I would recommend that if you decide to go there, you should only pay cash just to be safe. For what it's worth I do not think the problem is with the restaurant. I think they have a problem with one individual there and that's a shame. Everyone else was very kind and professional. The knafe that came out "fresh" was cold, tried to order a coffee and they remembered it as I was leaving.
